Frank Kortan nació en Praga. En 1982 inició su carrera como músico. Debido a la situación política comunista en Checoslovaquia, él y su esposa decidieron emigrar en 1984. Una fuga así era muy arriesgada en aquel momento, porque las fronteras con todos los países occidentales estaban cerradas. Después de una fuga muy peligrosa y aventurera por Yugoslavia e Italia llegaron a Suiza, a Tessino. Después de un año se mudó a Alemania, donde en la década de 1990 pasó de ser músico a artista. A partir de 1990 estudió intensamente pintura y descubrió la escena del trompe-l'oeil alemán y luego comenzó a pintar profesionalmente

Tumblr for the love of God stop doing this. Please. I have my apps on auto update *STOP PUTTING SHIT AT THE BOTTOM OF MY FEED* and update like a normal app. Stop with the "hey, down here!" shit while we're at it. I hate it so much. Please I'm begging you @staff to free me from this nigh-weekly torment. It makes me spend less time on tumblr bc I hate the shit at the bottom of my app.
