Hello, my name is Mahmoud Abu Swierh, a 17-year-old high school student from Gaza. Due to the ongoing genocidal war and the unbearable conditions I am facing, I’ve made the difficult decision to seek safety abroad in order to complete my final year of high school (Tawjihi) and pursue my dreams. 😔

I’ve launched a GoFundMe campaign with the goal of raising 15,000 CAD to cover my travel and living expenses for a year. Thanks to your generous support, I’ve already managed to raise enough to cover the travel costs and am now waiting for the border crossing to open. Once it does, I plan to leave immediately.

I gave birth to my son, Mohammed, amidst the sounds of bombing and the smell of death.But he was born to begin a greater suffering…

here’s a hot take: Lily Tino wouldn’t be so “annoying and evil” if people were more accepting towards trans women. i can’t be the only one who can understand her frustration. as far as i’m aware, her only “crime” is getting upset when people misgender her. she probably wouldn’t be getting as upset as she does if there was a level of basic respect towards trans people. of course, a lot of the employees she’s getting upset with are very apologetic and will often times immediately correct themselves, but i think it’s totally fair for her to be like “…? seriously..? you can’t tell that i’m trying to present myself more femininely…?”
