Hello, my name is Marah, a 23-year-old law student from Gaza. Never in my worst nightmares did I imagine I would be in a position to ask for help, but the harsh reality of what my family and I are enduring has become too overwhelming to face alone.

My family and I have lost everything. The war has destroyed our home, our livelihood, and our future. My mother suffers from thyroid and diabetes, but we have no means to provide her with the necessary medical care. My father had a stroke after hearing about the loss of our relatives, and now we’re left with nothing but pain and despair.

We are living in constant fear, illness, and hunger, without even the most basic necessities. Every day feels like a battle for survival.

here’s a hot take: Lily Tino wouldn’t be so “annoying and evil” if people were more accepting towards trans women. i can’t be the only one who can understand her frustration. as far as i’m aware, her only “crime” is getting upset when people misgender her. she probably wouldn’t be getting as upset as she does if there was a level of basic respect towards trans people. of course, a lot of the employees she’s getting upset with are very apologetic and will often times immediately correct themselves, but i think it’s totally fair for her to be like “…? seriously..? you can’t tell that i’m trying to present myself more femininely…?”

I am Raneen, a mother from Gaza, and my husband, Ahmed.We dreamed of a simple life, a warm home, and a child who would fill our lives with light. But the war stole everything…Our homes were destroyed, our dreams were burned, and all that remained was pain and fear.

I gave birth to my son, Mohammed, amidst the sounds of bombing and the smell of death.But he was born to begin a greater suffering…

Hello, my name is Areej Kassab. I’m a 27-year-old English teacher and writer from Gaza, and I’m reaching out to you with a heavy heart and a desperate plea for support. My family and I are enduring unimaginable hardships as relentless bombings devastate our home and our dreams.

We are a family of 15—10 adults and 5 children. Every day is a battle for survival. Food is scarce, humanitarian aid is not reaching us, and my little nieces and nephews go to bed hungry. Among them is my sister, who is deaf, and another sister who has a newborn baby. They, too, are suffering in this crisis, and I’m doing everything I can to protect and provide for them.

💔 A Life in Ruins The war has robbed us of everything: safety, peace, and even the hope of a future here. My family’s needs are basic yet critical—food, clean water, diapers for the babies, gas for cooking, and other essentials to make it through each day.

With rising prices and limited access to necessities, we are struggling to provide even the most basic items. My sister’s home has been destroyed, and we are working together to ensure everyone has shelter, food, and warmth.
