SHAWN HATOSY as ANDREW "POPE" CODY Animal Kingdom 04.08 Ambo
I think since Abbot works nights he gets majority of the GenZ nurses so he starts picking up on some of the phrases (after they explain what they mean)
Example:
Abbot: *really mad* I’m about to crash out
*Robby genuinely thinking he’s going into cardiac arrest*
abbot: er doctor. veteran. combat medic. amputee. widower. goes to therapy. fakes measurements to allow an abortion for a young girl. gives blood while actively treating patients. copes in dark humor. a yapper. talks his friend off a ledge he was just on. listens to a police scanner on his day off. volunteers to come in on his day off. makes sure people know they're doing a good job.

everyone on the pitt exists in reality except langdon who exists in omegaverse
still thinking about langdon's beef with santos and how she probably thinks it's an ego thing, but it's actually a You Broke The Rules thing, which she does multiple times (doesn't justify the way he yelled at her later, but it's hardly like it was out of nowhere, you know?)
the crike case really illustrates the point, too, because while santos generally has net positive results that shift, she could've killed that guy. it's why the present the case and clear stuff with a senior resident or attending is kind of important. and then!! she has the audacity to ask to do the crike lmao. having mel do the crike is very much a reestablishment of the seniority order there. if it had been just an ego thing, langdon would've done it himself, i think. instead it was more of a no you're an intern the second year resident will do this one take a seat.
i wouldnt be surprised to learn that langdon behaved similarly when he was an intern, and that he also was reprimanded for it. and if so, it'd also explain why he's such a stickler for that particular set of rules. especially so, id argue, because he has adhd and adhd also comes with a certain level of rigidity (in this case, relying heavily on an external rule to inhibit behavior). seeing santos break that rule more than once had kill bill sirens going in that man's head! and who knows if he would have blown up at her were it not for the whole drug habit on the verge of being discovered -- not unlike robby fumbling the confrontation with langdon later re: the drugs, since robby is having a shit day and the ptsd is running wild). was langdon being a hypocrite since he was, you know, breaking the rules by stealing drugs? absolutely. it adds to the robby parallels, our repression king.
and you wanna know what? this is why i think langdon is the one actually being set up to become santos's mentor.
Abbott was 100% right though, like, Robby did rock that shit down there that night, they both did, they ALL did cause holy fuck man, 100+ injured, several in critical condition, shortstaffed, and you only lost SIX? And at least one of them was already a lost cause on the way there? YOU DEFINITELY ROCKED THAT SHIT DOWN THERE.

“Noah is such a good scene partner. My relationship with him is very similar to Langdon’s relationship with Robby. [...] Once we got to that scene, I was scared of it. I knew it was coming for 10 episodes, and then we got there, and it was so much fun to dance with the master like that. [...] It’s the closest thing you are going to get to a breakup scene on The Pitt.” — Patrick Ball
