Hey, do you think the American half of Grace’s accent is a very recent thing and it only slips when she’s mad because she’s not focusing on upholding it.

Do you think she started speaking in a different accent because something about the Australian one is a kinda bitter reminder of the past to her. Like she moved to the states to try and distance herself from her old life back when she had friends and actual connections and a reason to live other than golf, and the accent change is just an extension of that.
