the beige walls, beige floors, beige ceilings, beige people, lined up in rows and rows and as far as the eye can see, they fill you, your mind, your memory, her face, what was her face, the colors are so dull now, what was her name, the people are hearing you, the beige, the beige, the music, it’s so wrong, she’s so quiet, who’s that voice? you need to run, you can’t run, you’re running, all you are doing is nothing and nothing you’re doing is everything, the beige walls seem to drip paint, yet haven’t been coated anew in years.
