Valentine is actually really good at painting. He loves oil paints and he paints delicate, calm landscapes. He hides them in a room in his house where his mother doesn’t go.

Spelldon’s hands shake too much to hold the brush. But he is a sketcher through and through and makes thick, messy graphite lines look sharp and elegant. He can’t draw anything but people, and Valentine is his favorite muse

I have a headcanon for Spelldon.

Don (I nicknamed him that) speaks Italian as well as Greek (he and Casta are half Italian)

That’s so cute! I love that. I think he’d be able to speak Ancient and modern Greek, too, but he uses Ancient Greek more because of his family.

He thinks in Ancient Greek because he grew up speaking it on Aeaea. He talks to himself in Ancient Greek, he counts in Ancient Greek, etc. Val learns it for him.

I never really thought about the Italian thing but it makes a bunch of sense (especially since people think Aeaea is in/near the Italian coastline). Maybe his father is an Italian sailor.

Okay but Valentine (Ellis) uses his fake persona and accent to infiltrate monster high and opalesce rats him out because she’s actually southern and he’s just so bad at the accent that she can’t ignore it

I love looking too deep into the lore of a one-off monster high villain :D

If valentine is not in MH3 and I can't edit him to "can't fight the moonlight" by leann rimes i will be very sad :( so mr. holland you should add him

I love too that spelldon’s family can turn people into animals and he ended up with someone who can do that on their own

I wish we had more of them but of course Mattel had to go and stifle their sweetness 🙄 I hope I’m right and they’re in the new live action movie though I need to see them together
