Gentle reminder that you can hold an abuser accountable for being an abuser and still be devastated by the loss of a life.
Holy shit
We're devastated by today's nightmare (which we really wish we could wake up from). All my friends (who have taken over this blog) and I hope all of you, our followers here, are okay and can take a step back to properly handle everything. Our hearts go out to Liam's family, friends, crew over the past decade and a half and, of course, his four brothers. Our hearts, as fans, are absolutely shattered. We're here if you need us. It has been one of the greatest pleasures of our lives to witness Liam growth and development and we're devastated about how the industry has taken yet another good soul and destroyed it beyond repair. Rest in kindness, Liam. 🕊️
Liam payne committed or fell off the roof and people are already blaming his ex girlfriend for it who was his victim btw. and I’m seeing a lot of people are already “he was abusive pedophile preying on teen girls but he was part of my childhood :(” and asking women and his victims to show empathy for dead. I think it’s actually crazy how women are the only oppressed class who are expected to empathise with their abusers . fuck him and fuck you. you will not make me feel bad for laughing at a dead abuser
begging people to not forget liam was an abuser. yes, his death is very sad, because he could've gotten help and therapy and accountability for his actions. but he still abused his ex fiancé and made her life a living hell. yes, his death is very sad and devastating but that doesn't erase the mistakes and the pain he caused in life. two things can be true at once.
i hope aaron carter is resting. he had such a fucked up life.
feeling grief over someone who shaped part of your childhood / teenage years ≠excusing his actions.
you can grieve someone and still not like them or agree with their actions. a reminder that two things can be true at once.
Aaron Carter had a very troubled life and upbringing. His story is sadly the story of another child star that has been traumatized by Hollywood. I find it fucked up that so many people on Twitter and other social media sites are just sharing videos of him when he was clearly on substances. That is not all he was. Maybe it's the younger ones who are sharing these videos. Many gen Z people don't realize that for many millennials Aaran Carter was our Justin Bieber.
excuse me???????????
