ooh thank you, I was so confused when I first saw them
what is an image id and what is it's purpose
“Who Goes There? Whitestorm Teaches Border Tactics” is one of the greatest pieces of warrior cats literature to ever exist
In the video it's clear that everyone knew about her vision so tornleg would too and still started a family with her, this is BOTH of their faults not just hers. And he's not supposed to be in the wrong for his stupidity. Blaming just the mom is such an icky move and makes me wonder why can't there just be a cat book without weird double standards.
I was watching the drawing a blank Oak Colony video and I've gotta say Frondsway's situation really pisses me off. Cause like everyone is only blaming her for Tornleg ending up disabled cause she had a baby and couldn't care for him. But last I checked it takes 2 people to make a baby, Tornleg is also responsible for what happened to him. Like he impregnated her, they're both responsible in this situation but only Frondsway gets punished?! Why does she have to step down from the position of Herbalist for not listening to the spirits when Tornleg doesn't have to step down from the position of mentor for also not listening to the spirits?!
Oh and then Tornleg wants to act like a victim and stop being mates with talking about some "you betrayed me🥺" bullshit. YOU impregnated her lil bro. She didn't just grow a baby by herself. He pisses me off so much. Also like he won't even go talk to her about what happened like dude your son is an adult and has children of his own now, grow the fuck up.
I couldn't agree more, it's just worse warrior cats and the average person is not going to enjoy
I was curious about the story, but I just can’t find the right words to explain it.
The writing felt dull, relying too much on telling rather than showing. For example, the explanation of the character’s tragic backstory lacked depth—it was just handed to the reader instead of being woven into the narrative.
I also couldn’t connect with most of the relationships, like Wildfur and Spottedshadow. They constantly talk about how much they love each other, yet their bond never truly comes to life on the page.
As for the deaths, they were painfully predictable. Instead of feeling sad, I was just frustrated—it all felt like forced emotional manipulation rather than natural storytelling.
Their world is barely explained. Sure, it’s like Warriors but with different names, but if I knew nothing about Warriors, I wouldn’t feel invested in the story.
I shouldn’t have to pay for your Patreon just to understand the story you’re trying to sell me.
Tenelle, I love your artwork, but writing novels just isn’t your strong suit.
Avalon, seriously, man—why didn’t you say anything about the prose?
The “Jayfeather is Rock” theory has to be my favorite warriors theory, but imagine it in an alternate way.
When Jayfeather dies, Jay’s Wing gets to go to StarClan, where he’ll be able to reunite with Half Moon. He can even keep his memories as Jayfeather and he gets to reunite with Hollyleaf and Leafpool.
But Jayfeather himself? He’s thrusted back to the beginning of time, and he has to watch it all over again. He’s not exactly alone; Midnight is there with him, but he just watches as life begins. As the cats gather in the lake territories. As he watches Fallen Leaves die. As he watches Jay’s Wing, the cat he used to be, lead the cats away from the lake. And for decades he is practically alone. It takes so many moons until the cats arrive at the lake, and for the first time in a long time he’s ecstatic. He can see his adoptive parents arrive, and later come back with the rest of the clans.
Moons past, and he realizes it’s time. The Great Battle is almost approaching. He sees his brother in the tunnels for the first time in millenniums. And later, both of his siblings are in the tunnels with him.
And he finally gets to meet Jayfeather.
we should exile people more like just say we don't want to see you, please leave
It's like WWE in that bitch 😭
I'm seeing a lot more posts of people getting excited about Jinshi manhandling MaoMao, from the blatant sexual position in the frog scene to the way the touches her face and shoves honey into her mouth and that one kiss on the neck.
Some are happy and delving into how this or that part of the interaction is indicating their true feelings and how Jinshi is wearing down Maomao to understanding she likes him too.
Some are unhappy and saying it's noncon and uncomfortable and Jinshi is being a bad guy overstepping and wielding his authority to take advantage.
Personally, I think both are true in their own way and false in their own way, but more importantly: Jinshi's actions are interesting as a look into his psyche.
I definitely don't think Jinshi has any ill-intent toward Maomao. He likes her and is pulling pigtails essentially, but he ISN'T actually pulling pigtails. He's shoving his honey covered fingers in her mouth and making overly sexual bedroom eyes to distract her from him sneaking a snack off her plate. He's also very much backing off whenever Maomao signals a no and doesn't repeat things that have clearly made her uncomfortable and their relationship is slowly improving as a result.
Jinshi is a guy who, from quite a young age, has been tasked to pretend to be a eunuch and dangle himself in front of the royal harem to test their loyalty to the emperor they serve and weed out those who are willing to stray.
Jinshi is a guy who, during his formative years was suppressed and denied all his wants, then exactly when he's going into puberty was given sex-suppressing drugs to pretend to be a eunuch and told to be flamboyantly appealing to women.
Jinshi is a guy who's been encouraged and given success and praised for being overly sexual in a way he may or may not actually be comfortable with at all, while also being forced to have all proper appearance of being not sexual at all.
Jinshi is a guy who has been placed in charge of the royal harem, and in doing so has been basically given the duties of his brother-father's WIFE in managing his sexual affairs behind closed doors until he actually marries.
Jinshi has ISSUES.
He doesn't, actually, know how to act with a person he likes. Not as a friend who isn't a caretaker and definitely not as a lover. He's working his way through that with his relationship with Maomao (friendship first) - and she's actually the perfect person to go through this with because she was also raised in a ridiculously sexual environment she embraced from necessity but never actually wanted to join and is able to shake off his missteps. She's constantly aware of the power dynamic and of how he's permissive and listens to her and threads the needle of scolding/correcting him the right way and at the right times and with the right audience so he can understand without him losing face. And he tolerates and respects her in a way he does no one else.
I think this awkward period for them is actually vital for any future romance to work.
They're each personally, individually coming out of a shell made of their neglectful and simultaneously over and under sexual upbringing and present with each other's help, and when they finally get there they'll understand each other better than anyone else can.

What does this mean? It means, if you buy an ebook from Amazon and you want to use a different ereader, you will not be able to download the file onto your computer, remove its DRM using Calibre, and transfer the book to any device of your choice. After February 26, you’ll be locked to Amazon’s ecosystem indefinitely. Books will only be transferable between Amazon devices and apps. You do not own the ebooks you buy. Amazon can (and has) remove ebooks from your library.
Download them now and use the Calibre to remove the DRM. I highly suggest buying ebooks from other places from now on. Links to resources below.

If you’re like me, you have a kindle and you’re not financially in the position to buy a new $130 ereader from a different brand. So what are you to do? The best thing you can do is use Libby/Overdrive. It’s very simple. The Libby app has an option to link your Amazon account to the app and so when you borrow a book from your library, it’ll automatically go to your kindle.
You can also sideload books onto your kindle if the file is compatible and DRM free. Here’s an article listing DRM free book sources.
Now this is where things get tricky. Most indie authors make the bulk of their sales on Amazon. It’s awful, but that’s the nature of the beast. Use your own discretion when buying indie books from Amazon. Check and see if that author sells their books on other platforms or buy their book physically (if the option is available) so that you actually own the book you buy.
Remember when a bunch of youtubers were talking about watertok and getting mad that the people were calling the flavored water stuff water? That was always kinda weird to me because like, that's got to be the least harmful tiktok community and a lot of them were just people who were trying to drink more water. It was also weird to me how they were like, "How can you not like the taste of water??" because I have super sensitive taste and I can't drink water out of cheap plastic bottles because the taste of plastic rubs off into the water. Idk man, whenever people made videos on them it just felt mean.
Jeepers guys! Sorry, I wasn't being serious! I was just off my meds when I saw the Iskall video and got really disappointed and angry. Sorry 😬

To this day i still think it's crazy that in warrior cats, a book series that I started reading when I was in like 5th or 4th grade, they let a cat get stabbed in the throat and they let another cat get gutted. I'm so glad my parents couldn't read in English because if they could they would've taken the books away immediately
Ok serious question time, I've got this friend and they want to transition. I asked why and they said that it was to get their partner to like them more. Their partner has a weird thing for trans people and wanted them to transition because "They would look so much better if they were trans". Their partner is really horrible and has been very manipulative in the past so my friend doing stuff they don't like to please them is something that happens a lot. We try to get them to break up with their partner but it's to no luck and most of my friends don't talk to them anymore because of how rude they can get when you say something about their partner. I told them that transitioning just to please someone else is a bad idea and unhealthy but they called me transphobic and that "I haven't let my past self go". Of course I don't have any problem with transitioning but when I first met my best friend (This is a different friend then the one I was previously talking about), bird had neo pronouns and as someone who didn't speak English originally, it was hard to learn the language and kinda break the language rules at the same time so I ended up just calling bird "she" and bird never corrected me even though they had a problem with it. We both sorted out that issue a while ago but I need to know, was It wrong to question my friend about their transition? I really know nothing about trans stuff since the first time I heard of that was when I first met my best friend. Please don't be mean because I really don't know if I was wrong or not.
(Also btw I call my best friend "they" sometimes because that's what bird was fine with me calling them when I was learning English and it just stuck)
