It's been a while and I kinda drifted from the original ask (maybe too much lmao).

But I'll probably make a part two to this !

Sooo, I hope you'll still enjoy.

You are the adoptive child of Remus. You were a troubled teen that he met and get attached to. He didn't planned to become a father figure at 30, but he did. And he was pretty good at it, always listening and caring.

When Sirius came back in his life, you welcomed him into yours very quickly. You three became a happy little family, even if you weren't a teen anymore.

And you met Moody quickly after meeting Sirius. Then order has been formed again and you insisted on being a part of it, even if your father(s) weren't thrilled about it. You were an adult, and a brilliant wizard/witch who could use their numerous talent to help the order.

The first time you met Alastor, he wasn't thrilled to see you there, thinking that you were too weak and that you could only weakened Remus.

But you were resilient and brave. You're clever, often helping them with interesting points of view when they were making plans. And having studied to become a healer, you were always a great help.

He started to get more and more interested in you. In you witty sense of humour, your kindness, your bravery but also your devotion in helping people. You weren't the weak and shy "kid" he thought you were.

(Yes, at first he got the habit of calling you kid, even if you were a grown adult. And quickly, you made him stop. He respected the way you stood up for yourself.)

But obviously, he stayed away from you. He wasn't one for making friends, or being nice towards people. And obviously, you didn't care at all. You often found yourself laughing with him, and quietly helping with his leg when he needed it. Often he found potions on his nightstand for the pain of his leg, or in his muscles. You two had this sort of friendship, a quiet and mostly unspoken one.

For a few months, Alastor and you didn't even realize your own feelings. He was older then you, even older than your dads, and you were at war. Not an ideal time to flirt. And so, you only realized your feelings when, at the battle of the Potters, you saved his life. He still got hurt, but he was alive. He tried to get out of your fussing about his wounds, but one good scream was all he needed to shut his mouth and let you tend to him. You two were silent, him not even looking and you and you focused on keeping his alive and painless. Until you spoke.

" You could've died. You almost died."

"But I didn't.", he answered

"Because I saved your goddamned life!" , you shouted back.

We both got awfully quiet as you finished your duty. As you got up to leave, you felt his hand on my wrist, stopping me.

"Thank you, Y/N."

You smiled softly at the use of your name in this specific tone. It was warm, and had an hint of something you did not totally understood. But in his mouth it sounded good, it sounded right. Turning your head, you couldn't help but feel your heart flutter when you looked him in the eyes.

"You're welcome, Alastor.."

His hand slowly drifted from my wrist, to my palm and held my hand for a few seconds before letting it go. He then mumbled something about me leaving him alone, needing his old body to rest. You chuckled and left the room, only to find yourself longing for his warm touch again. And that's the exact moment you realised. You are in love with Alastor Moody.

Your dads were going to kill you.

This very deformed Minimoy is just too funny and cute to be ignored. I love him much, he is beautiful, I want to made him a little comfortable house on the shelf with tiny furniture. Oh and give him a kiss, this boy deserve more kisses. And hide him from his enemies in my home when he inevitably fails at world domination... again. He should get more love!

The Scent of You

He couldn’t deny it any longer that your scent was all he could think about. The sweet vanilla in your perfume that permeated the air, surrounding him like a velvet blanket.

He could never admit it, that he loved sitting close to you in meetings or at dinner, that along with your perfume your smile lit up the room. Your eyes would twinkle in the candlelight while the smell of jasmine filled his nose.

He found you beautiful almost immediately upon meeting you but he had not expected the scent of you to impact him so. It was like his nose had been dulled for years and suddenly he could breathe again.

Being by your side felt like standing in a field of flowers with sunlight filtering gently through the trees. Your voice the gentle breeze that flowed throughout.

It was not just the perfumes you wore but also your essence beneath that. Something that was purely human, that drew him in equally. The combination was intoxicating.

He remembered one particular evening; you had even dressed up a little. A small amount of make-up. Just a hint of something different. You looked particularly amazing that night. Even your scent seemed a little darker, muskier, delectable.

He couldn’t keep his eyes off you. Your scent lingered wherever you went, like an old school cartoon that he felt compelled to float along behind you, following you anywhere, just to stay in your company longer.

It had felt like you couldn’t keep your eyes off him too, as they were on him each time he sought to steal a glance. You’d smile abashedly and look away, his heart singing at the sight. Beautiful, your smile was beautiful.

He had wanted to kiss you that night. The urge almost overtaking him when you sat beside him and invested in the conversation over the table. He could hardly concentrate on tactics and strategy, only the mauve of your lips, the smoothness of your back, the blush on your cheeks and the smell of sandalwood that came from you.

Loving someone was never simple. If someone asked why he loved you, he couldn’t answer. The truth was, it was a little bit of everything, all mixed together into a perfect concoction of humanity. He could find nothing he didn’t love, imperfections and all.
