I'm kinda ashamed to ask this, but could you make a tutorial on how to draw hands? ;A;

omg dont be ashamed at all!! Hands are generally tough to get used to, lots of artists struggle with it! so dont be ashamed i feel you.

and I actually have made a hand anatomy guide before in fact! If you want to get better at drawing hands I def recommend you learn the basic anatomy first. Please check out the ones I made, I try to make it simple and easy to understand:

There’s my guide to the anatomy, but here’s some more tips that I’ve noted to myself that I’d like to include

First off, I’d like to just note on the fingers: if you pay close attention to your own hand, you may notice the fingers are ever ever so slightly curved inward. It’s a very subtle detail, but I noticed that, despite how slight it is, it can make a hand look more lively, and less stiff.

Second, the “M” on the palm! Your hand moves in many ways, and because it does it creates creases in your hand. The most prominent creases appear to make an M shape; this is handy to remember for what I’m going to talk about next. (It also could be a “W” I guess, or to be more specific a “ )X( “; just think of it in whatever way helps you remember!)

SO now that you see the M, draw your hand as a basic blocked shape and add your details. As you do, you can see that the M divides the palm into four basic parts!

When the hand moves, parts A, B, or C of the palm, alone or in different combos, will create the general poses that the hands do normally. These parts are the parts that move, with D being stationary, no matter what!

Here’s a chart of all the possible combos. Once you have down what part of the hand moves for a certain pose, you can change up the fingers and tweak it a bit to do what you need to make it more specific!

This is simply my method of drawing hands. God knows there are hundreds of tutorials out there by other artists, but personally, this way helps me the best (after learning the anatomy first). 

This way I can divide the hand and combine the parts in any such way I need! 

Hands take a lot of effort to grapple, and you need to practice them a lot, especially foreshortening of the hand; that’s really something you need to learn through your own studies. Look at your own hands, draw hands from life, from magazines, shows, comics; just draw hands! You’ll eventually figure out a method that works best for you. So to get better at drawing hands; draw hands!! And don’t stress over it, have fun with it!

I really like the idea of Killua teaching Gon all of these slang words that no one uses anymore. And Gon being Gon gets all excited.

Hello and welcome to the third HXH BIG BANG! We’re bringing back the event by popular demand, so let’s welcome 2018 with the good ol hxhbb *WHAT IS THE BIG BANG?* ~there are several variations but traditionally a big bang is when an author writes a larger fic while an artist creates a work of art (or multiple) for them. This will result in an influx of new works for the hxh Fandom to enjoy and as an added bonus, it will encourage collaboration between Fandom writers and artists. *SO HOW WILL THIS WORK?* ~authors will sign up to write a fic, and once the writer has an idea of what they want to do they will submit a summary of their story. Artists will then be able to claim the fic they want based on a blind summary (so make them good, writers!). From that point the writers will be given a deadline to finish their larger work and then the artists will be able to make their accompanying piece. *SO WHAT ARE THE RULES?* *FOR AUTHORS* ~stories must be a min of 5,000 words in length. The max is 50,000 words. ~content will not be restricted. You may write gen, het, slash, or any combination thereof; AU’S and crossovers are welcome; any rating (not too explicit), pairing, tense, pov, voice are also allowed. Authors this is your time to shine, so enjoy and write something you’ve always wanted to (within reason) ~a summary of your fic is due February 8th. You will need to have enough of a solid idea to state your rating, possible length, as well as any possible triggers or pairings. Please refrain from wildly changing your summary or the idea of your fic mid-way. ~you may use a WIP so long as it has never been accessible outside of this challenge. No submitting a chapter of a work you’ve already posted somewhere, now. Stories must be complete, new, and proofread. ~you may write in collaboration if you would like to do so! ~you will be matched with an artist based (only) on the summary of your completed story. All summaries will be posted blind sometime after Feb 8th. *FOR ARTISTS* ~after summaries are posted, all fic claims will be due by February 15th. These are on a first come, first serve basis. Any extra artists or fics will be matched by the hxhbb mods. ~you will be given a completed version of the story you chose by April 17th, 2017 ~your minimum requirement per fic is one illustration. One is required but if you feel inspired you are more than able to create more than one. ~you choose which part of the fic you illustrate. Which characters which scenes, which chapter or even an image the sums up the spirit of the whole piece. The decision is up to you. ~illustrate is a very general term.
