“The other [scene that stands out above the rest] involved a handsome man, asking a dancing couple if he could cut in. The female partner, expecting his attention, agrees, only to see him dance with her male partner. Jolson then flaps his wrist and says, “Boys will be boys. Woo!”. This scene almost caused the Production Code to reject the film, and was featured in the opening scenes of the documentary film The Celluloid Closet (1996).”

The production value here is off the charts but this is also literally just what it feels like to play Uno.

How come I haven’t upload this one on tumblr till now ??

when i was 12 or something like that, my sister had this awesome teacher who’d let her borrow books and take them home. One day she brought home A Series if Unfortunate Events. You know when you see something and your first thought is ‘fvck, this looks epic, I need it in my life so I can find out everything about it.. right. Now.’ That’s how I felt when I seen the cover. She refused to let me read them so I had to wait until she fell asleep at night, sneak into her room, read into ungodly hours and return the book before she woke up without waking her’. I was sleep deprived for months. But it was worth it :):)
