snowinglilys:
Lily disliked thinking of the distance limitation, he always had been so careful not to pass it, he didnt want the day to come when he did end up putting his eve in pain like that, more so from something like this.
“It can be a curse at times really, always drawing attention. Oh, i had almost forgotten, i have something for you. “ He reached into his pocket and pulled out a picture of Misono, a recent one he had gotten of him that he wanted the other to have. Holding it out for the other, he had kept it with him incase he would ever run into him. He figured the older Alicein would have liked to have a more recent picture.
“Let us hope that never has to happen, as funny as it would be, i would take to trouble you and my brother with something like that.” He was certain they probably would die of shock after seeing his brother in their house, he could be scary when he was unhappy, though the butterfly found it more adorable than he did scary, he didn't think he could ever be scared of him.
“I’ve enjoyed keeping an eye on him as i had you when you were about his age. You’ve grown so much since i have seen you last” That was a sound he missed, hearing one of his children, under his protection even now that he wasnt able to protect him laugh was, something beautiful that he would never take for granted. But he owed them so much more, the family had taken him and his subclass in for such a little thing in return.
He nodded in agreement, knowing it wasnt like it used to be and that he couldn’t be as careless anymore when away from someone he knew. “I would greatly enjoy that, i’ve missed being able to see you as much as i used to”
When the other hands him a newer picture of his younger brother, Mikuni reaches out carefully – taking the photo as though it was something delicate / precious. Everything he got from Lily concerning his brother, he treated like treasure. After all: The reason he was away from the ALICEIN Household was because he’d protected his dear brother. If there was something this young man treasured – if there was something he wanted to p r o t e c t, it was his dearest younger brother. “You’ve gotten very good at taking photo’s, Lily. Though he sure is poutin’ in this one.” A genuine smile had broken it’s way through, making it to his lips without hesitation.
When it came to Misono, he couldn’t help it. His brother was just so cute… and he cherished his little brother more then anything else in this world. “Thank you, Lily. I do appreciate your efforts.” I mean: Misono probably wouldn’t be too excited that Mikuni’s ever growing picture collection just kept getting bigger somehow? But, he’d never tell on his friend – his brother’s SERVAMP.
“Well, just know that if somethin’ like that happens to ya? We’ll be ready and willin’ to come launch a full scale rescue. We can’t have somebody goin’ and trying to pin you to a board or somethin’.” Butterfly collectors have always been a worry for the Alicein household, especially given the form one of their two SERVAMPS took. If something like that were to happen to ALL-of-LOVE, both Misono and Lily would be hurt quite badly. And that wasn’t something the blond older brother would allow to happen. “And I don’t think Jeje would think it was trouble.” He adds, as an afterthought – after all, he was the EVE of ENVY.
And he knew for a fact that the taller, older, servamp couldn’t possibly find anything as annoying as MIKUNI forcing him to work at his shop in turn for getting blood.
However, when the other brings up how much he’d grown, Mikuni couldn’t help but laugh a little. Oh, how Lily was just a member of the FAMILY, especially when he said things like this! He sounded like an uncle or older brother himself. “Have I grown up well? I think Misono hate’s my aesthetic.” It was mostly a joke – but? To be fair, Mikuni did things sometimes intentionally to make people believe he wasn’t entirely in his right mind, so? If Misono believed it, he only had himself to blame. “You’ve always been a member of the family… I can’t even remember you ever lookin’ any different then you do now.”
And? As the other agrees to his offer, the elder ALICEIN brother falls into step beside the SERVAMP – stopping for a moment, before bowing slightly. “Alrighty, then. Allow me to escort you home then, dear Lily.” It was a joke – his action was, even if his words were the truth. After being nearly abducted, he thought would be good if he could make him laugh. “I’d like to catch up anyways.” It was true that they never got to see as much of each other anymore. So? It would be nice to catch up with his old friend. “How are your kids doin’, by th’ way? Are they well?” He’d seen a few of Lily’s subclass around – however? They weren’t allowed to acknowledge him, given his exile from the family. So? He’d been unable to ask about how they were doing when he’d seen them around.

❖ ─ ━ ɩɴⅴеႽτɩնατοʀ Even though it wasn’t her business to ask, she was getting more concerned about his well being seeing him coming back with another injury from somewhere. She was told to stay back this time due to falling a bit behind on her reports so she had to catch up on them again. ❝Geezs, sometime along the line of how long we’ve been partners for, I’m going to lose count of how many times you walk in with injuries you know…. ❞ She sighed lightly as she walked up to him, doing a quick check if there were others. ❝I don’t know how you manage to get these wounds this time but I’m starting to get worried more about you. Let get these cleaned up before I can dress them, I should have a spare roll of bandages somewhere on my desk. ❞
To be entirely honest, Hijirihara couldn’t remember when exactly he decided to start relying on his partner more – even though he’d come to consider her a friend, there was a lot of risk in relying on her. He was a dangerous individual himself. He attracted danger, and? Well, to that end, he ended up like this. This was worse then some other times, but? It wasn’t life threatening.
He hadn’t needed help. He could have managed to bandage himself up – and yet, he’d found himself dragging his feet all the way to where he knew his partner would be. “… sorry.” Though apologizes weren’t usually a part of the awkward young man’s vocabulary, he found himself trying more. After all: He did feel bad that he worried her. . . “It’s not as bad as it looks, though?” He adds, his voice more of a question.
By comparison to how the “OTHER GUY” had looked, it wasn’t bad. Plus, some of the blood wasn’t his own…
And the other had been left hacked to pieces in the same manner that he’d left others. The other had liked to leave his victims with little humanity left – making it near impossible to identify them when found. He had done the same. As the KILLER KILLER, that was his signature. Unfortunately, however, he hadn’t accounted that the other might have a gun. Nothing about the others previous killings had hinted about the other using any sort of firearm…
“… should I start cleaning the wounds?” He asks, tilting his head ever-so-slightly at his partners comments. He could move towards the bathroom and wash himself up a bit if it would help, but somehow he felt she had a specific way she wanted him to take care of this.
The shinobi in charge of over-seeing the younger shinobi’s training, Chojirou is often very proud of those he has worked with. Trusting them and treating them as full-blown shinobi, the moment he believes they’re ready. He wants to give all of his companions a chance to prove themselves, and won’t deny them the opportunity.
However, he is a duty bound man - if given an order, he will try to complete it. Even if it destroys him.
Despite his obvious loyalties to the village, despite his dedication to Koga, he’s unable to bear the weight of his orders. He wanted to complete them, even if it destroyed him - he’s a shinobi. He shouldn’t have an opinion. He shouldn’t be able to argue or disagree with his orders, he knows that. And yet? With those orders pointing his blade towards his loved ones... he can’t.
( under construction )
“Ah, gee. I came all this way because I heard somethin’ interesting was happening - if this is all that was about, I’mma be terribly disappointed.” The Alicein replies, sighing a little. “How ‘bout you contact me when you have a more interesting offer? Like, ta punch you in the face or somethin’ like that.”
‘Who wants to be my boyfriend?’
This is his canon timeline verse ; Adlet, having been chosen to be one of the “Braves” has begun his travels to help his fellow “braves” seal the Majin. He has one of the “Crests of the Six Flowers,” resting on the back of his dominant hand. In this verse, there is a lot of confusion - after all: despite being honored to be chosen, and being the “strongest man in the world,” his words not mine, … there are too many braves. Never have so many been chosen. So? There must be a traitor … or a liar. A lot of this verse is Adlet trying to pull the team together, and trying to work alongside of each other, while trying to figure out who the traitor could possibly be.
A master of “trick weapons,” Adlet Mayer finds himself often called upon by those seeking weapons and such - He doesn’t sell to just anyone. His weapons are his passion, and he won’t have them used to back a person or group he doesn’t agree with. So? For the most part, he is a traveling merchant … Forever looking for new things to make his weapons with, and continuing to smith and forge what has got to be some of the most unique weapons in the country at this time.
A traveler with little in mind for a goal - he travels the lands to try to learn things a little more first hand. Something that had been recommended to him by his teacher, the man who taught him to fight, and to build. Now? He is doing just that. Traveling the countryside, traveling from city to city, to figure out things for himself. Learning more about local and foreign plants, poisons, antidotes, weapons - and becoming something of a craftsman in the process. He considers himself something of a traveling gentleman, however. So? If approached with an issue? He’ll do what he can to help those in need.
… which is probably why he is always suffering from lack of funds.
All he’d ever wanted in the world … was to be chosen as one of the Brave’s. To be given the chance to prove himself, to make up for what happened, to save people like he was once unable to. All he’d ever wanted was to be a hero. To prove that he didn’t have to be a prodigy or naturally talented to become a hero. And? He fought and trained every day, proving himself again and again with tricks, weapons, and everything in the book, to do so. And yet? Here he was - Here was everything he’d ever dreamed off, and? He hadn’t been chosen. He hadn’t accomplished anything. And? If he couldn’t accomplish his dream, if he couldn’t be chosen on the grounds that he wasn’t “good enough,” he’d damned well prove them wrong. The Goddess choose poorly. And he would prove it. Even if it meant slaughtering those she had chosen.
All cards on the table, Anastasia is now known as a traitor, and a member of the “Iga League of Five.” She is cold, aloof, and appears to have no genuine interest in the Braves, their leader, or anything else. However? There is an amount of sadness in her eyes that doesn’t match her actions… or her words. Does she care? Doesn’t she? Part of her training makes it difficult to find out.
Anastasia: The playful, teasing, Brave of Ice. She was one of the first few Braves, and has been with Yukimura ever since her first attempt at killing him. She was surprised to see her childhood friend, Saizou, join the group, but? It’s just made her even more playful- Much to the distress of some of the other comrades. However? She does say and do some things sometimes… that make it difficult to find out whether or not she’s truthfully close to them or not.
Very surprisingly, Anastasia has returned after her betrayal… and has been given the chance to return to the group as the “Brave of Ice.” (Much to her own surprise.) She has become quieter and more loyal. She spends a lot more time patrolling and doing just about everything asked out of her. Ana has always been a serious and strong kunoichi, however? She seems busier than ever. She does, however, appear more genuinely attached to the group now.
An unattached kunoichi whose only connection is to the clan that raised her, Anastasia is a vicious and powerful woman. She is a hired hand, and willing to work for most people, as long as the pay is high enough. She has no care for those she works for, however, and seems to only connect with a few of the people she’s known in Iga for a long time. However? She is old enough now, and trained enough, that she can also train others into Iga.
Through with being tied to the group that trained her, Anastasia has gone off on her own. Without the protection and such of the group? Anastasia is a little more vicious, because? She needs to be. After all: She’s obviously a foreigner, which doesn’t do well for her already… And? Being a free-roaming kunoichi? It’s a little harder for her to get jobs, without the Iga name behind her. “Don’t waste my time. If you don’t have the money? Get lost. I have no time for charity work.”
A senior at high school, Anastasia is a bit of an odd one. A foreign exchange student from Russia, she came her to master Japanese as a second language. So far? It seems to be going very well, however? Because she sometimes struggles with her language skills, it can make her appear a little cold or distant, because it can be difficult for her to communicate well. (Translating things in her head, switching it over, and then finally speaking? Can make her a little slow in responding to things at times.)

Unfortunately for HYDE he wouldn’t get to see the angels reaction to his unintentional slip up – he was already busy throwing himself fully into his new task of taking care of the other. He wasn’t sure when the other would change his mind, so? His best bet was to do his absolute BEST so that the other wouldn’t suddenly declare otherwise.
If he worked hard at it and tried to keep himself in check to some extent… then the other would rest and hopefully recover sooner.
“Tea it is, Angelcakes.” The blond calls back, before immediately setting to work on that as well. There was still some room on the stove. The soup he had set to cook was going now, though it did require some stirring, the water was now on the stove, and he continued his multi-tasking. The melon balls were almost complete, so he would serve those first. “But first, I have an appetizer.” And with that, he struts over to the other – the small bowl in hand as well as a small fork. “I’ll just set these here for now, but I’ll be back with your tea shortly.”
And he did just that – within minutes, he had the tea ready as well. Serving it on a small tray filled with things he could add to it, should he choose to. Sugar cubes, milk, lemon. Anything he wanted. The HEDGEHOG was a strange S e r v a m p. He rarely stuck to an EVE, and even rarer? Did he do things when he wasn’t required to.
To see him put his 110% into working on an earnest cause rather then for his own amusement? Was probably a bit of an oddity. “I’ll have some sandwiches and soup ready in just a bit too. So, don’t you go anywhere, Angel. I’ll be right back.” I mean, LICHT had already agreed to behave for now – so HYDE wasn’t overly concerned. The EVE of GREED didn’t usually lie. … u s u a l l y.
When he was f i n i s h e d – what he came back with was a chicken broth and a variety of small sandwiches. Peanut butter and jelly, cucumber, and even BLT’s. He wasn’t sure what his E V E could stomach, but he definitely wanted to be sure he’d find SOMETHING he would eat. He needed to recover, and for that to happen? He needed to take care of himself. “If you don’t see something you’d like – or if you’d prefer something else, just let me know. Your wish, is my command.” He says, before winking. “At least for now.”

This wasn’t supposed to be like this! How had things fallen apart so quickly? Lunafreya had expected this situation to be a little chaotic after all awakening the Hydraean could very well be the last thing she did. She was known for being temperamental and Lunafreya had been prepared for that. So it was no surprise that she was soaked to the bone her dress tattered as she attempted to gain control of the situation. She couldn’t break now Noctis was counting on her.
What she hadn’t expected was Ardyn to jump into the situation. She knew he would probably come for her eventually if she still carried the ring. She just hadn’t expected it to be so soon with her only just having formed a covenant with Leviathan.
When she had refused to give him the ring she had expected her death. Ardyn was dangerous after all and she knew it. He gave off that vibe. However, he did something completely unexpected. He had simply shrugged and hoisted her up and took her away. No, this wasn’t what she had wanted. She was finally going to get to see Noctis again and now … where was he even going to take her?
"Put me down, I can walk by myself.“
Although, Lunafreya doubted he would listen he probably expected her to run the second she could and he wasn’t exactly wrong. However, she wasn’t going to just pick a direction and take off. That would be absolutely foolish on her part.
“Do you truly believe that is often how ‘hostage’ situations work, my lady Oracle?”
The mocking words left the man’s mouth with an obvious smile. It was a funny thought – that she was asking to be put down, when he’d clearly snatched her up for a reason. The idea of KILLING her had been a realistic one. It would have been easy to snatch up the R I N G from her corpse, or he could have propelled things into motion by acting out in front of the . . . still immature prince.
It would have worked out alright that way. He wasn’t sure what had caused him to change his plan of action. Or why he’d thought this would work out for the better.
“If I put you down right now, you’d attempt to leave – and that wouldn’t get… pretty. I would likely have to break your legs to keep you from running, no? So would you rather be carried? Or dragged?” The words, the question, sounded a m u s e d. What would she say from her position? Hoisted upon his shoulder like a sack of potatoes? “I can at least give you that option, I suppose.” He adds, with a hum…
Today was turning into a rather ( INTERESTING ) day, to say the least.

❖ ─ ━ ɩɴⅴеႽτɩնατοʀ If it takes for her hell and back, sore feet and all from going after this one particular person well-that was enough for her to go after especially when her interest in them has spark(like her partner perchance). Perseverance, patience and a tiny bit of kindness comes along way for the investigator. She knows that she was replaceable even to the foundation, that if she were to die and disappear she wouldn’t be remembered much or even at all and….she was expandable just like the rest but if she could impact on someone of importance or to anyone at all that would be enough. ❝Don’t you think I already know that, to the foundation, I’m likely expandable and doesn’t mean much to them. I’m not anything like my partner and his instincts nor like Branch Head Kirigiri with her observance- I’m nothing like them however it does not mean that I’m willing to just walk behind either. Not everyone is the same otherwise how boring would that be.❞ The blonde knows her fate by now, she was just her partners ‘side-kick’ however….he was someone special to her and that was enough to keep her going. ❝Your asking me something that trivial? I’m persistent not because of my job, it’s because for a person like yourself-you caught my interest. My job as a SCI is dangerous however if your asking me if I would die for my job then no, I applied to the SCI so I can prevent the body count from rising….however if my path one day was forced to take up arms and kill then so be it. ❞ She can’t be a pacifist forever, there would be a time one day where if she have to take up arms and kill so she can protect someone then she doesn’t care if her path is dyed red. Besides, I’ve lost someone once and I won’t let another slip past me. ❝I love my job however before that, I value those I’m close to so if I have to kill someone to protect them then so be it. The world is cruel, harsh and it bares its fangs to those who are ll be ill-prepared, if I don’t kill then I’ll be killed. That answer should be enough hopefully.❞
“… interesting.”
The single word wasn’t spoken unkindly – despite his obvious lack-of-interest in her words, he kept his focus on the girl who had followed him all the way here. For someone so remarkably unremarkable, she had some interesting thoughts. And she was willing to persist to the edge of a calamity to chase him here…
A few more steps, a little way forward, and he’d cause a collapse here. They would both be sent downward through crumbling grounds into whatever remained of the emergency underground pathways. The sub tunnels and the side passages. If they were both lucky, they wouldn’t be crushed to death. ( L U C K Y, hmm? ) Again, Servant looks towards the cracks.
“You know your worth, but you also know what you stand for. Little dogs shouldn’t have such loud barks.” His comment was spoken with some amount of frustration. It was his own personal belief that only ULTIMATES – only the truly G I F T E D deserved to be lifted up, and that everyone else? Served only to make those extraordinary few shines brighter. Being T A I N T E D by despair had hardly changed that. Instead, it had only served to reinforce that mindset. “It bothers me that you know you’re unremarkable, and yet you fancy yourself capable of making change – so? How about we make a bet, you and I?” With that, he takes a step backwards.
The sounds of creaking with the additional weight – “If you come over here, if you can make it to me? I’ll let you arrest me.” He says, lifting his hands into the air. His gloved hand and his free one. “But – if you come over here, the ground will likely reach its limit. We’ll both go tumbling into what’s left of the subway tracks… and we’ll likely be crushed to death. But? If you live, I’ll keep my word. How about it? Want to test your luck?”
The former ULTIMATE LUCKY STUDENT tilts his head ever-so-slightly to the side when he finishes talking. A curious expression reaching his pale jade eyes. His hands remained in the air, for now? It was a “MOCK-SURRENDER.” But, if she could truly make it to his side and survive, he’d give himself over. “Of course, you could just shoot me.”
patixntia:
❖ ─ ━ ɩɴⅴеႽτɩնατοʀ She already analyzed the situation that she was in as soon they both stopped there. Even though it didn’t look good she wanted to at least try talking to him calmly without all of this, capturing was out of the picture as she likely knows what they are going to do with the Despairs once captured too plus she didn’t have a gun on her only stun weapons of the sorts. ❝Don’t judge me. Just because I’m small doesn’t mean that I’m useless cause I’m not an Ultimate like you, besides I do have a few skills of my own. ❞ Asano recalled back just stating her own thoughts there, it’s true she does know a few small things but that doesn’t mean she’s useless. Seeing that he took a step back as he said what was next did put her on edge though.
Already knowing what his talent does don’t help her ease her mind about it though, she took a quick glance around to see if there was anything that would help her get around with making the ground fall if she did go to him. ❝Tell me, why do you think that my goal is to arrest you then? Let me tell you this since we are alone right now in this dark cave, my own thoughts about you Despairs there is highly different to what my boss is. Also, don’t think I didn’t do my research either I know what I’m up against….So let see if my luck is with me this time. ❞ She simply sighed lightly, this was going to be troublesome but she hoped that luck was on her side today though it was soon she felt a small wisp landed on her shoulder for good luck though. ❝Well, you overlooked one thing I don’t use a gun, I only weapons that stun people. Although I could just throw my high heels at you to make you unconscious. ❞ With that being said though she thought that if she didn’t wear her shoes it would likely improve her chances maybe so she took them off.
SERVANT laughs a little when she says that – “DON’T JUDGE ME.” As though it wasn’t already human nature to judge everyone’s adherent worth. It was funny to hear, though. Especially in this day an age. As society crumbles around you and the only LAWS that matter are created and reinforced with strict punishment.
Not that SOCIETY meant anything to him at this point. He was with the ULTIMATE DESPAIR. Those whom had forced the world into this absolutely trashed state. “Is that so?” There was absolutely no belief in his tone. If the ULTIMATE LUCKY STUDENT – well, former, believed her at all? It didn’t show. If anything, he sounded more amused by her comments then before. But, his eyes still showed little to no interest. A consistent, degrading, look. She was no ULTIMATE.
She was not H O P E.
Nor could she dream to be.
Not in his eyes. Not in this world. So? It was funny to watch her try so hard – it was about the same feeling someone might get from watching POLICE approach the BIG BAD in an action movie. You know they’re going to be slaughtered. To prove the s t r e n g t h of the bad guy, and prove the necessity of the SUPERHERO. “You work in a unit whose specialty is dealing with the tragedies of this current, crumbling world. Or at least, that’s what your uniform suggests. Am I mistaken in believing that that is why you try so hard, little dog?” He asks in a breath – almost sighing out the words, as through frustrated at why she could believe that she has the right to ask him these questions. “… you have different goals then your boss? Alright, interesting, I suppose. But your unity is one of your strengths in this currently chaotic world. If you do not hunt me down to relinquish me to that brute you call your leader, then why are you after me?”
As she comments about his skill, he says nothing. Simply offering her a dead-eyed smile. He had never believed in his ability. LUCK was not H O P E. If anything – his skill was a tragedy. A curse. But, sometimes? It worked for him. He’d find out whether that was the case today or not. “Do you fancy yourself able to save me?” Komaeda asks, half-heartedly.
She was going to try, then. He could see her removing her shoes and making her way closer, bit by bit. He could hear the ground crumbling ever so slightly under each movement. He knew – if she came out here, fully, they would both go crashing down. And yet, here she was trying regardless. “Should I give you a handy cap, Miss? Do you need me to move forward to give you an actual chance?” This was said in mocking – after all: She’d told him not to look down on her. If she asked him to adjust for her – then she’d be admitting that she can’t do it on her own. And yet, he was giving her a chance to prove herself. She was small, light-weight, she had a real chance. So? He’d remain still as they spoke… watching her movements carefully.

Though it was much more in his nature to just let things unfold as they would – he couldn’t just sit on his hands and do nothing when he’d seen the familiar butterfly fluttering about. Snow Lily was a dear friend of the family, and if Jeje had been around . . . Well, as the two had always worked side-by-side in protecting the Alicein family? He could only imagine that things would have escalated from there. Luckily, Mikuni was on his own today. And he’d been able to get the child to relinquish his claim on the butterfly in his possession.
“Ah, ya never need to worry ‘bout me just leaving you trapped. Should I be in the area, I’m more then happy to help.” And, despite frequently just allowing the dominos to fall as they would – he was often around. So? With this comment, he’s more then happy to tilt his hat towards the other. A little gentlemanly gesture.
And as Lily had been one of his family’s… “GUARDIANS,” so to say, he certainly wasn’t about to watch one of them be accidentally abducted. Despite his tendency to play devil’s advocate. “Lucky timing, though. Misono would have had a heart attack if some kid decided they were gonna keep ya again.” The funniest part was that he could – truthfully – say a g a i n. Lily, All-of-Love, was certainly a beautiful butterfly.
