ok i was so pissed at the tiny detail of eddie’s sister in riddler: secrets in the dark having originally had the last name nygma. and also the implication that edward nygma is his real name.

LIKE YEAH dc villains have silly names (julian day… etc) but also names and identity r a Big Theme in batman and i feel like especially in this podcast??? like eddie knowing that bruce is bruce et cetera. and it’s way more meaningful to me for him to have chosen the name edward nygma.

mostly this is because he is trans though. dc you can’t change my mind. he is trans and he likes riddles and he got to pick his own name and went wouldn’t it be sick if my name was e. nygma.

Ok I have a headcanon that Wu recruited Jay, Cole, and Zane way before he managed to get Kai. (I headcanon that Jay and Cole were around 11-13) And I just realized that it must have been so funny for Wu to train these two literal children and then this 40 year old nindroid. I also think jay and cole's reactions would have also been priceless. I love the OG three so much and I wish we could have gotten more of their dynamic before kai joined (no hate to kai, i love him too)

High-key, onesided Plasma goes hard. I love it when my moron fire guy realizes he's attracted to his equally moron brother in law lightning guy and has no idea what to do about it so he just acts like being attracted to this guy is the dumbest thing in the world because to him it IS.

That's not to say I don't enjoy plasma normally, but Kai in denial of his own emotions and that's the reason why he constantly makes fun of Jay and also makes fun of Nya for being attracted to Jay tangentially is my most recent thought to chew on.
