Many of us are looking for more ways to enjoy our time at home in these stressful circumstances. Some of us have turned to books. But how can we make sure we get the most out of them?

yanno those white noise sites like rainymood.com or the cafe shop one? i’d like an Enterprise bridge one, please. Soft beeping, maybe some chill version of amok time theme or something, and every now and then the crew calmly issuing orders or reading something sciency. im watching the lights of zetar and this evasive scene? is super calming and i need it on infinite repeat somehow. someone make this happen.

Star Trek: The Original Series Movie Novelizations
Love is enough
It’s official. At almost 21 years old, I’ve become a Trekkie. ;w; Watching the original series with my mom (who is also a Trekkie) is probably the best thing going on in my life right now.
🖤 A MESSAGE FROM REBECCA SUGAR AND ITS TEAM 🖤
This is a press kit from Steven Universe, it's more or less a farewell letter. I will translate everything you say ...
"I am so proud to have spent the last eight years creating and working on Steven Universe with my spectacular team. For years it felt as if we were holding our breath, dreaming of finishing the story we set out to tell, trying to keep our balance while Tectonic plates of the television landscape moved under our feet It was as difficult as it is to tell an honest and personal story through a mainstream animated series It was even more difficult to create a serialized narrative where the characters experience growth and change: there was no place for a program like this on Cartoon Network when we started in 2010. But those were the aspects of the program that we were most passionate about: we wanted to show the arcs of these characters, and our growth as artists and people, and the amount of support we receive from fans made our dreams come true. Almost a decade later there is no doubt that passion and the enthusiasm of Steven Universe fans made our program possible, and for that I am so humble and grateful.
When I started the program, I felt alone, unsure if anyone could identify with Steven Universe's personal aspects. Knowing this community that joined thanks to the program was an experience that opened my eyes: I felt very emotional and in everyone's sight. I have always firmly believed in the power of cartoons, and these days it is undeniable: the friendships that have been made thanks to the show, the artists who have been inspired to draw, the families that have looked at it together and have seen themselves in the characters ... it fills me with impression and renews my love for animation every day. It is true that our epilogue series is coming to an end, please trust that like us, those characters will always be growing, changing and supporting each other.
Thank you very much for sharing this experience with us. "
