BREAK-UP Jazz song I wrote
I See The Darkness in you, I now see the light in me
Our relationship had to begin
Before it could come to an end,
I had to see where it would go,
Endless possibilities.
Love it’s keeping us on our toes,
The music in our ears,
Narrating along as the story goes.
Will there be wedding bells,
A honeymoon in Beirut.
Can you see us
We’re riding Arabian horses
Across the sands.
Life is out of our hands.
suddenly, the sun shined
Down on me.
My eyes gave off an aqueous flare,
I see the darkness in you,
I now see the light in me,
Baby, you are full of toxicity.
I am glad that you’re gone,
I’m full of vitamin D
I’ve got good friends and
The beautiful world around me
Light beams down
on the ground, I walk.
I have to tread lightly baby,
Because I am so hot.
Enjoy what life has to give,
Aloha meaning goodbye,
Because I am not going to
Give you a thought.
For its time, Beethoven's 3rd Symphony was revolutionary. It was intended to be dedicated to Napoleon Bonaparte, the great liberator of Europe. But when Napoleon crowned himself as Emperor of France, Beethoven tore up the dedication page. For the first time, a composer had written a very personal and biographical symphony. Before symphonies were simply given numbers, and were made to order by the patron of the composer for special occasions as background music for private parties and or to display the wealth of the patron and their good taste in music. This great symphony was original and complex. It opened the symphony up so it could be a psychological expression of the composer's mind.
