“To have someone understand your mind is a different kind of intimacy.”
— Unknown
Klaus is enjoying some much needed quiet time, painting in his studio and sipping on some bourbon. New Orleans has been calm for quite some time now and the Mikaelson family has finally found the peace they fought for, for so long.
His cell rings and after carefully setting down his paintbrush, he digs out the offending noise maker and answers it without so much as glancing at the caller ID. “This better be important.”
“Um,” the voice wavers. “May I speak to a Mr. Niklaus Mikaelson, please?”
He sighs. “Speaking.”

You’d met Rooster your first year of college. You had come out to San Diego for school with no expectations of what you might find. You were on your own, independent for the first time in your life and you were determined to find yourself. You wanted to let loose and experience college in its fullest, which meant going to parties and hooking up with boys and getting drunk on the weekends and everything else others’ tales of college promised. So when your new room mate invited you out to a bonfire at the beach that night, you knew you’d be a fool to pass it up. You went with her, giggling as you got to the beach, having already pregamed in your dorm before arriving. A drink was thrust into your hand as you arrived to the group and mingled around with the people there. You were beginning to get more than tipsy when your room mate grabbed your arm. You looked at her in confusion, but quickly understood. At the edge of the party stood a group of boys who were far more attractive than your average college student. You bit your lip as you locked eyes with the brunette of the group who’s eyes warmed your soul. His aviators were perched low on his nose, and he pushed them up as he made your way to you. Your room mate drunkenly squealed as he walked over, hitting your arm. You had to admit, whoever this man was, he was fine. And honestly, this would make for a memorable first college hook-up. “Ladies.” He greeted, lowering his glasses so he could send your room mate a wink. You laughed, taking another sip of your drink. You frowned, realizing it was the last of it, and your room mate realized she was out too.

I wanna see something.
Let them write what they want to write and don't harass them because it's not exactly what YOU want to see. Writers don't owe anyone anything. We do this for fun (and for free), and to constantly see readers harassing authors about their works is making me so angry.
To see readers bullying writers into going back to writing something they were taking a break from to pursue other stories/aspirations? TERRIBLE. Support the writers with whatever they are writing if you love them that much.
Let them know how much you appreciate their FREE hard work!
We are not here to cater to anyone but ourselves - yes, we share our stories with people to build a conversation about the things we all love, but ultimately we create things for ourselves.
The bullying and harassment of writers needs to stop, or the writing stops. Be appreciative, be respectful, and show the authors love instead of tearing them down for other things they enjoy.

This was a really cute yet angst request and I’m definitely back on track!
Damon’s POV
“Oh are you kidding me!”
“Okay, how long does this last?” I asked Bonnie. “Maybe a day?” She replied. “This makes me such a target! I can die.” I protested. “Well maybe if you stay put and not be stupid then you wont.” Smart-ass Elena said. “Just, stay here.” Stefan added and I mocked him, receiving an eye roll. “I’m going to the bar.” I announced and made my way to my car and I heard their collected sighs.
