she is a month along, if i remember correctly. and she is as beautiful as ever if not more so. so we have some time to prepare but i feel this will go by in no time. you know that you don't have do that, right? we appreciate it for sure but you don't have too.

aussie hell is the worst kind of hell to find yourself in, so the studio should be shaking in their boots. i feel like that's why my love for marvel isn't as much as it used to. i feel like they were trying to milk that cow as along as they could, and after a while the quality started to go down— at least for some films. i love that for you, because if that title doesn't invoke fear into the studio then i don't know what will. i would love to marvel in a spiderman movie, but i don't know if that will ever come.

alright, alright — message received loud and clear. i’m honestly a little scared for the studio now... aussie hell sounds intense, and i fully support it. you’re absolutely right though — if they hadn’t been off making seventeen different spin-offs and squeezing every drop out of the multiverse, maybe we’d already be swinging through another film by now. but hey, i admire the commitment. i’ll consider this your official application to be the voice of the people — and if i do end up in those meetings, i’ll just casually drop, “alycia debnam-carey is not impressed and she’s sharpening her boomerang,” yeah? also, side note — if you ever want to cameo and show them how it’s done, i’m just saying… you'd make a killer addition to the spider-verse.

you say that now. i'd happily give you time with my brother, because after a full day with his shenanigans you'd be begging to give him back. he drives me absolutely banana's most of the time, but i love him to the moon and back. i give you kudos for being able to grind in that career field. my self esteem would have been shattered. i have always been more on the curvy side. i've slimmed out a lot since i started doing pilates, but i still lean towards the more curvier side. people used to pick my body apart, but i don't dabble in gossip much and i try and avoid hearing all those things about me, so it's kept me at peace pretty much. do you plan to jump right back into work after having your little bean? or do you want to take some time off, like extended time off to be with your family? ahh, there is no need for actual fights. the little bean will have so much love surrounding them, no matter who it's from. i'll be honest i still want a big wedding. i've never been married before, so i hope that if the moment comes someday i'd love to have a big wedding. my dad is getting up in age and i know he'd love to walk his only daughter down the aisle.

i've got my fingers crossed for you! i won't lie, i wish i had had a brother sometimes. my parents only had the four girls. and i'm sure the four of us just drove our father absolutely nuts. modeling is a bit of a toss into the pond of luck. you're absolutely right, we have some of the most unrealistic standards to live up to. i lucked out if you ask me with those standards, i have always been tall and my metabolism is super fast. which works out well for the modeling career but terrible when it comes to gaining weight. which does sometimes comes as a complication with pregnancies. but it also means that i can jump right back into work almost instantly after having my little ones. you're absolutely gorgeous, though, and i'm sure you'd do just fine if you wanted to take the jump from actor to model. that they definitely do. i didn't think that i was ever going to find anyone again after Josh and now not only have i found Oliver but i have this little one to prove just how much love i was going to find. well, if i'm being honest, i think you only really have to fight with Luce, only because she's been my best friend for as long as i can remember. but i will be one hundred percent with you, darling. you don't have to get anything for me and the slice. just love, they're going to want all of it. that is so great for you, sweetie! i am so happy to hear that! it's less important to have a piece of paper than it is to have the love that you share. i found that out the hard way. don't get me wrong, i used to be the girl who always wanted to have the big wedding and enjoy marriage. but as i have gotten older and been divorced i now care so much less about it and all i want is love.

alycia knew that something was different. she had spent so much time with jamie in the past, but it never felt like this. she had always kept him at arms length. the status of their relationship with one another had always gone unspoken. he had been through some rough patches in his life that she was happy to help him through, but she didn't think it was smart to bring up the feelings she had been carrying for him. truth be told she had always cared so deeply for him. through the good times and the bad— it had always been him. she just wasn't aware that she was the same for him.

"this place is magical." there was a level of admiration in her voice as she took in the sights of the castle. it was almost as if he had tossed them into a romantic, gothic fairytale. most might not have seen this for what it is, but alycia knew it was his way of showing her a romantic evening. her eyes softened when he said he had missed her too. it brought her a sense of comfort to know that he had craved her presence in his life, just as much as she had for him. "how could i say no to such an offer to spend all of my off time with you?" as he brought her forward, his much larger hands engulfing her cheeks as she welcomed his lips for a kiss. she could so easily get lost in his kiss. "i forgot just how much i needed this. how much i needed you." she had easily outed herself with her words, confessing to him just how much she needed him. their feelings for one another had always gone unspoken, and maybe it was time for that to change.

she left him to think about what she had said. she didn't expect him to pick up on the hints she had been dropping, although a small part of her hoped that he did. she didn't want to be the first one to bring up the obvious elephant in the room. she had been rejected and hurt so many times, and she knew she couldn't handle that from him. so she was leaving it in his hands, if by some chance he felt the same way she did. "so, where do we go first? you are the leader of this spooky adventure." her hands took his as she started to walk backwards, pulling him along in the direction she knew they were headed.

Ever since Alycia had come into his life, she'd offered a calmness that he would admit that he often chased after. His world was chaotic before her, and more often than not it was chaotic when she wasn't around, and he just felt better when she was near. It's part of why he always missed her when they didn't see each other for a while, and sometimes Jamie couldn't help but wish they didn't have to spend so much time apart. But he knew that bringing up spending more time together, being in each other's space more, would bring up feelings he wasn't sure he was ready to share or feelings he wasn't sure Alycia was ready to hear from him—or wanted to hear from him. Even though he felt it was pretty clear that he was attached to her, he wasn't sure if it was clear just how attached he was to her, and Jamie was content in that because he didn't want to lose her if he felt too much and she didn't feel the same way.

Though he would admit that he'd been dropping little hints recently, mostly because he was tired of hiding how he was feeling. But also because he was 36, and there was a part of him that wanted to settle down and start something with someone that made him happy, made him feel complete, and he knew Alycia could be that person, was probably that person. So he didn't hold back any affection when he greeted her at the airport, not giving a damn who was around to see them, and he wasted no time in taking her back to his hotel and showing her just how much he had missed her. Because worshiping her for hours was something he was well versed in, was something he knew that Alycia loved, and what he knew always brought them closer together.

Even though there was part of him that would have been content to stay in bed with Alycia all day long, especially since they had a lot of time to make up for. The call of having a little spooky fun was there, and he couldn't help but answer it, and he knew that Alycia would be having just as much fun with that as him. Plus, he had spent time doing his research to find the perfect place for them to visit, and he figured that not only were they visiting someplace haunted, but they were visiting a gorgeous gothic castle, and it was something they would both enjoy, something they could both take lots of pictures of. And the moment he saw Alycia in her little black dress, he knew he was going to take lots of pictures of her tonight, because she looked gorgeous, and he made sure to pass those compliments along with a kiss to her cheek. She was breathtaking, though, and sometimes Jamie couldn't help but ask what on earth she saw in him, because she could have anyone.

He was glad for the walk to the castle because the sights around them were gorgeous, and he just liked walking and having Alycia on his arm as well. He smiled when she agreed to go into the most haunted place of the castle, which made Jamie excited, he would admit. "I've been told it's stunning in there, so you're probably right about it being just as beautiful as it is spooky." They would have to take pictures in there for sure, and maybe they would capture a spirit or two. His attention was on Alycia, however, when she turned to him, and he looked down at her with a smile on his face. "I don't mind you sounding like a broken record, darling, since I love hearing that you've missed me. And I've missed you too, love." He smiled against her lips when she kissed him, the smile only growing at her next words. "Same here, you being here made me realize how much I want you around. I'm glad you're here and staying for a while." He couldn't help but shift so he could lift both his hands to cup her cheeks and bring their lips together in another kiss.

i have, but i never get tired of hearing them! it's a huge accomplishment for me career wise, and i'm happy to ride the high of this news for as long as i can. thank you so much. i never in my wildest dreams thought that i'd be part of such a huge franchise, and to be part of a film series i grew up watching? legendary. i'll be honest i feel like i've won the life lottery right now. i have zero complaints. i have a great job, a great significant other. i swear things are going so well i'm waiting for the shoe to drop and something to go wrong.

I'm sure you've been getting a lot of congratulations for getting the Godzilla x Kong part, but here's me offering mine! That's so wonderful, and I just know you're going to do an amazing job. Plus, I love the Monsterverse and can't wait to see what they do with the next installment. I feel like you're probably riding a massive high with that right now, and nothing else can beat that, right? But I'm still curious if there is anything else exciting that's going on in your life right now? My life is slightly stale, so I'm just trying to live vicariously through others. @alyvas

alycia: it's good that you do, otherwise i'd have to find another and i'm not sure i could find someone as qualified as you. well when you put it like that how can i argue with that logic? i have to admit that those are some of my favorites as well, simply for the memories that are attached to them for that reason. alycia: i love that for us. photoshoot at some gorgeous, gothic places? yes please. maybe we can find some spooky places to explore as well. you know me and my thrilling need to find all the spookiest places. it's been a little too long for my liking. we gotta make sure this much time doesn't pass next time, because i'm realizing now just how much i miss you, and i don't want to have to miss you anymore than i have to.

Jamie: I love being your favorite muse, just throwing that out there. Oh god no, darling, those are my favorite photos of you. Why would I get rid of them? Those are where you look the most beautiful, if you ask me, or the ones where I'm the reason you're looking a mess. Those are my favorites. Jamie: I'm glad to help you have some fun then, love, and I'm sure we'll find some great places to explore too. This city has a ton of old, gothic places that are right up both our alleys. Oh, I knew you'd be sold once I told you about the balcony view. And don't worry, I've already thought about a few of those things we can do on that balcony as well.
