it kind of makes me sad knowing i spent so much wasted time and energy on fear that others caused, and robbed myself of so much time with you. i know there is no point to dwell on the past, but it's sad. it does bring me so much comfort to know that you love me, too, and that we're both on the same page with everything. i trust you more than i trust anyone else in this world, and i know that i'm in good hands with you. of course i want that future. i've wanted it for so long, i just never had anyone who wanted it with me until you. i think we could have a beautiful life together. we've already had a beautiful friendship, so why not upgrade that to a lifetime of happiness together? i'm already yours— officially.

aussie hell is the worst kind of hell to find yourself in, so the studio should be shaking in their boots. i feel like that's why my love for marvel isn't as much as it used to. i feel like they were trying to milk that cow as along as they could, and after a while the quality started to go down— at least for some films. i love that for you, because if that title doesn't invoke fear into the studio then i don't know what will. i would love to marvel in a spiderman movie, but i don't know if that will ever come.

alright, alright — message received loud and clear. i’m honestly a little scared for the studio now... aussie hell sounds intense, and i fully support it. you’re absolutely right though — if they hadn’t been off making seventeen different spin-offs and squeezing every drop out of the multiverse, maybe we’d already be swinging through another film by now. but hey, i admire the commitment. i’ll consider this your official application to be the voice of the people — and if i do end up in those meetings, i’ll just casually drop, “alycia debnam-carey is not impressed and she’s sharpening her boomerang,” yeah? also, side note — if you ever want to cameo and show them how it’s done, i’m just saying… you'd make a killer addition to the spider-verse.

alycia: it's good that you do, otherwise i'd have to find another and i'm not sure i could find someone as qualified as you. well when you put it like that how can i argue with that logic? i have to admit that those are some of my favorites as well, simply for the memories that are attached to them for that reason. alycia: i love that for us. photoshoot at some gorgeous, gothic places? yes please. maybe we can find some spooky places to explore as well. you know me and my thrilling need to find all the spookiest places. it's been a little too long for my liking. we gotta make sure this much time doesn't pass next time, because i'm realizing now just how much i miss you, and i don't want to have to miss you anymore than i have to.

Jamie: I love being your favorite muse, just throwing that out there. Oh god no, darling, those are my favorite photos of you. Why would I get rid of them? Those are where you look the most beautiful, if you ask me, or the ones where I'm the reason you're looking a mess. Those are my favorites. alycia: you can. i think it's hot when you get a little jealous, but i promise you are my one and only muse. we do have a lot of great memories. some of the best times i've had have been with you, and i cherish those moments. alycia: i'll bring one of the many little black dresses to fit with the vibe. i always wanted to tap into my inner morticia. i'm excited to see what you come up with. i've been looking at a few places myself while i was waiting in the airport and i'll share them with you once i get there. i would love to stick around for a while as long as you want me to. i feel like we have a lot of time to make up for, and i kind of want to be selfish and take up all of your time.

i hope so. i have been fortunate enough to work with some really big names on these last few projects so i'm hoping that kind of helps toss my name into the pot of potential contenders. if not then i'll just keep pushing on until something happens. at least it gave me time to finish my first script. i've also wanted to move more to the behind the scenes stuff. i dipped my toe into the directing pool and i sort of fell in love with it. i love to hear that! i certainly cannot wait for season four. ted lasso is such a guilty pleasure show. i love that! you two always make me want to get a farm. i know i could never keep up, but the urge is there.

Well that's a shame. But you're right, such is the nature. I'm sure something will pop up soon, I'm banking on it. Lucky for me, I always have production projects on the go, even if I'm not actively working myself, I'm overseeing things and working on behind the scenes stuff, writing for other people. But aside from the brand new wife and the beautiful baby I'm currently in the midst of writing Ted Lasso season 4, getting things prepared for filming later in the year, and we've also started planning Big Slick and Thundergong. My broody hen has been hiding eggs from me so I became a grandrooster of three at some point in the last week The joys of living on a farm.

thank you! i am beyond excited about it. i grew up watching godzilla with my dad, so to be part of it now is such a huge thing for me. i have never done anything monsterverse related, so this is going to be quite the experience. 2027 does seem so far away, but i know it's going to take about that long to perfect the whole thing. you can't have a film with amazing visual effects like that and have it done in a year or less. that's terrible to hear, i'm so sorry. i don't know why fans have resorted to such violence lately. it's like they were raised with no manners. you are there to put on a show and everyone wants to have good, clean fun. they don't want to be pushed and shoved around. hopefully you and the rest of the group can revisit at a later date and things go a little bit better.

I've been touring with my group as of late, but we're kinda running into a little bit of trouble with certain fans, unfortunately. I was hoping our 2025 would be better, but we just did a show in Peru where I had to walk off the stage and encourage the rest of the boys to do it as well. People in the audience were pushing, shoving and getting hurt but wouldn't listen to us when we were telling them to relax and chill out. I feel guilty for doing it, but I had no other choice, you know?
