“Alright Y/n your turn, just remember Riddikulus!” Professor Lupin constructed turning to me. I walked up to the cupboard as the professor opened it releasing the Boggart. I stood waiting for it to change into my worst fear. When it did change, I stood stiff, afraid of the image in front of me. There in front of me was the Boggart in the shape of Draco Malfoy himself, his smug smirk on his face. I have be afraid of him for as long as I have known him, which was a while since my father and his are friends. “Come on Miss. Y/n, say the spell and it will go away.” Lupin said with concern as I stood frozen. All the other students snickering behind me, one in particular a sad look on his face that was unnoticed to the other students and myself. I raised my wand towards the Boggart Draco and other Slytherin students that were now pointing at me and laughing. “R-r-ri-rid-d-d…” I couldn’t say the rest of the spell before I broke down crying, “DADDY HELP ME PLEASE! MAKE THEM STOP! PLEASE MAKE THEM STOP I’M SCARED!” I had screamed so loud all the students stopped snickering and stared at me shocked… well all except Pansy Parkinson who said, “What a baby crying for your daddy, and you call yourself a Slytherin, Hufflepuff more like it.” Severus Snape came running into the room towards me. He stood in front of the Boggart to shield me away from it, making it change from Draco and Slytherin students to grandpa. “RIDDIKULUS!” Dad yelled turning Boggart grandpa into a monkey. Dad turned back around to me, his hard eyes softening their gaze on my quivering form. He picked me up in his arms and held me close to his body, rocking side to side while I calmed down bit by bit. “Th-they were laughing at me daddy, I was so scared.” I cried burying my face even further into dad’s cloak. “Shhh, its fine now, they’re all gone.” Dad cooed, he was only this way with me, and he wasn’t afraid to show it either, no matter what the students or other teachers say. “Alright class let’s leave them alone for now. Miss. Y/n take the rest of the day off, I’ll talk to your other teachers for you.” Professor Lupin said as he left the room, the students following close behind. “Except you Mr. Malfoy, I’m going to need to talk to you.” Dad’s voice spoke up. He felt me tense up after hearing that. “Yes Professor?” Draco mumbled walking over towards us. I shoved my face deeper into his chest, trying to hide as much as I could. “I need you to take Y/n back to the common room. I’m afraid I must get back to my class right now and can’t do it myself.” Dad said standing up with me. “No.” I muttered softly into my dad’s cloak, he always smelt like pine trees and maple and it always, every time put me at ease no matter what situation I was in. “Yes sir.” Draco was a little hesitant now that he though I feared him, but that Boggart was just showing my fear of him rejecting that I like him and making fun of me for it. My dad left after that, leaving me and Draco alone together in the room. He took a hesitant step towards me, then since I didn’t move away, he took another step, then another one till he was right in front of me, looking down at me with sad, concerned eyes, no smirk evident on his beautiful pale face. We were betrothed to each other since we were little because our parents were friends and both in Slytherin. “Y/n, what ever I have done to scare you, I am deeply sorry, it wasn’t my intent.” Draco said softly as to not startle me. “Its not what you’ve done, you’ve done nothing wrong, its what you could do that scares me.” I explained coarsely, my throat sore from yelling for my dad. “What are you afraid of love, I’m going to need to know if its in the future since we are getting married.” Draco said cupping my face in his huge palms. For a fourteen year, old he was already well built in more places then one. “I’ve been afraid… no terrified of your rejection since we were little kids. I’ve had a crush on you since I was eight.” My blush could not have been any brighter by the time I was done telling Draco what my fear was. Suddenly I felt soft lips press against mine. My eye widened but then realisation caught up to me and I kissed him back full force with so much passion, I threw my arms around his neck as he had me jump up so that I could also wrap my legs around his waist as well. After a bit, we needed to break apart so we could breath, we rested out foreheads together panting softly, our warm breaths fanning over each other’s face. “Well then I guess I should come out with this now, I love you Y/n since the day I met you when we were four, I thought you were the most beautifulest thing in the world with your h/l h/c, and e/c eyes. You were my diamond in the rough. Always have been, always will be.” Draco explained kissing my nose softly making me giggle. “C’mon, lets get back to the common room, we can spend the rest of the day together in there.” Draco smiled setting me back down on the ground, he took my hand as he leads the way to the dungeons. We spent the day just laying on the couch, him on his back and me on his stomach, we napped until dinner time when Pansy came in the room screeching Draco’s name because she couldn’t find him anywhere and hasn’t seen him since Defence Against the Dark Arts class. She heard Snape ask him to stay behind so she just figured he was off doing something for the Professor, and soon found out how wrong she was when she saw the two asleep in each other’s arms on the couch. “DRACY, WHAT ARE YOUR DOING WITH THAT CRY BABY?! DID SNAPE PUT YOU UP TO THIS, BECAUSE I CAN GO TO HIM RIGHT NOW AND MAKE HIS STOP!?” Pansy had yelled earning a groan from Draco and me. “Quit your yelling you bloody baboon! And stop calling me that, its not my name, nor will it ever.” Draco fired at her, then turned to me kissing my lips making Pansy’s jaw drop. “Come on darling, lets go get some food, I’m starving.” Draco stood up after I got off him, he took my hand and walked out the door. I turned around back to Pansy, smirked, then stuck my tongue out at her. I had his love way before anyone else, and that’s how it would stay for the rest of our lives.

Mistaken Words

“Mr. Shue!” You exclaim as Coach Beiste walks into the choir room. “Can I call Sebastian to cancel our date tonight? Blaine just reminded me it’s family night.”

“Sure, Y/N, just stay on speaker phone.” He replies offhandedly, not really paying attention.

You stand and move to the side of the room, pulling your phone out as you do so.

You sigh as you dial his number. The whole Glee Club is staring at you, and he’s not going to be happy that you have to cancel.

“Hey, Y/N.” His voice causes you to grin.

“Hey, Bas, you’re on speaker so be nice.” You caution him, worried he might say something negative.

“So I shouldn’t comment about how ridiculous Kurt looks when-”

“Nope! No you shouldn’t do that.” You exclaim. You catch Kurt rolling his eyes and sigh. “Anyway, I have to cancel for tonight. It’s family night at our house and my mom will kill me if I skip.”

“It’s just one time.” He complains.

“Except it’s not. I missed the last two for our dates.” You rub your neck and Sebastian sighs.

Mr. Shue turns around and you speak again.

“I’ve gotta go, Seb. Love you, bye.”

You freeze. You and Sebastian hadn’t said “those three words” yet. But a slip of the tongue had caused you to let him know.

You can’t do anything but stare at your phone as Mr. Shue claps his hands.

A sound that is clearly not a clap rings through the room, followed closely by screams.

Silence.

“Was that a-”

Another crack rings out and your phone slips from your hands in shock. Your school is under fire. There’s a shooter inside of McKinley High.

Sebastian stared at his phone in shock. Just moments after you declared your love to him, accidentally it seemed, two sounds like gunshots rang out.

Silence.

“Sebastian? Are you okay? We need to start practice.” One of the Warblers came up to him.

He brushed past them.

“Turn on the tv.” He ordered, grabbing the remote and doing it himself when they were too slow.

“We are at McKinley High School right now, where there may be a shooter inside the building. Earlier this afternoon, two gunshots rang out, causing the school to go on lockdown. Although some students were lucky enough o be outside, a majority of them are still inside and stuck until the police give the all clear.”

Sebastian didn’t wait any longer. He was out the door before any of the Warblers could even try to protest. Not that they would. When Sebastian started dating Y/N, he was nicer. None of them wanted him to go back to the old Sebastian. They only hoped she would be okay.

“Sam please sit down!” You hissed, clutching the edge of Blaine’s sleeve. “Mr. Shue is getting Brittany. You can’t do anything else!”

Sam reluctantly sat down, and you leaned closer to your brother.

Blaine had his arms wrapped around you protectively.

He’d been born seven minutes earlier and that had left him with a protective streak over you.

The door opened and you tensed, until you saw the familiar red and white of a Cheerios uniform and the curly hair of a glee supervisor.

You sighed in relief and tears slipped down your face.

Sam stood up to hug Brittany and you looked up at them.

What did Sebastian think was happening? Had he even heard the gunshots or was he stuck wondering.

Voices echoed through the hallway, bringing the news of an all clear.

You cried and relaxed against Blaine, and you felt a tear drop on your hair from him.

This had been the worst fear of your life, and you were ready to leave the school.

“Blaine! Y/N!” Tina yelled, before running towards the two of you.

You stood there, hugging, and Tina was crying with relief.

When the hug ended, you and Tina both had streaks on your cheeks.

“I was so worried!” Tina said through sobs. “I’m so sorry.”

“We’re glad you’re safe, Tina.” Blaine said, rubbing her back. He glanced over her shoulder and his eyes narrowed, before relaxing and looking at you.

“Y/N, I think there’s someone here to see you.”

You look where he’s indicating and smile, before rushing to the boy in the blazer.

His arms wrap around you and your bury your face against his chest, inhaling his calming scent.

His hands run through your hair as fresh tears leak from your eyes.

“I love you too.” He whispers.

his voice was shaky, his breathing quick, and with no more than thirty seconds into the phone call, you could tell that something was wrong. the way that your stomach twisted with every word that left his mouth just confirmed your thoughts. 

“where are you? i’ll come get you.” 

at this point, you were looking at happy, who was already going to get the jet ready for takeoff.
