u ever see someone with extremely fucked up views (or actions) and think wowww if a couple of things in my life went the tiniest bit differently that would have been me
ENCYCLOPEDIA BROWN MENTIONED REBLOGGING IMMEDIATELY
There's the thing in kids' shows/books/movies where the kids always know what's going on and what to do where the adults are idiots, and in most shows aimed at adults the only roles for kids are precocious-yet-loving protag's kid, smart-mouthed pain-in-the-ass, or victim of the crime-of-the-week, so I think it would be funny to have a story from the POV a hard-bitten middle-aged cop or detective who mostly does hard-bitten-middle-aged-protagonist things like drink a lot and complain about his exes, but he always runs into this team of five 13-year-old amateur detectives on his job, and they seem to be just as good at it as he is and it drives him a little crazier each time.
No but the Hunger Games really said "what do you hate more- the atrocities or the people who commit them against you? Because like it or not there IS a difference. If you hate the people who commit acts of pure evil more than you hate the acts themselves, what will stop you from becoming just like your enemies in your pursuit of justice? What will keep you from commiting those very same acts against THEM when the opportunity arises? And what then? The cycle of pain and suffering will never stop. Round and round it'll go. Nothing will ever change. But. BUT. If you hate the atrocities. If you hate the vile, senseless acts MORE than you hate the people who did them to you. If you are able to see that evil is evil regardless of who does it... The cycle ends with you. No, you may never get justice. But you will never be responsible for making others, even your enemies, suffer the same crimes you have. The atrocities will never be committed by you, never by your hand. And that's the way you change the world. It's the ONLY way" and that's why I am sure it will never stop being one of the most relevant works of fiction ever created
Consider the following thought experiment. There is a life form that is incapable of suffering or pleasure or any form of thought or consciousness. You know this for certain. In fact, you know absolutely everything there is to know about it. It exists in an isolated system, i.e. its existence or lack thereof has no effect on anything else, it's not tied to any external ecosystem, etc. You could say the only exception to this is you the observer, but the only interaction you can have (besides knowing everything about it) is you can decide at any moment that it instantly stops existing (kill it, if you want to put it that way). Killing it does not cause any suffering of any form, not even to "you" (or whoever is making this decision). Does this life form have intrinsic value?
I guess this can be considered a proxy for asking the moral valence of killing in itself.

Surprise! Tumblr just got turned into an epic fantasy RPG, just like [your favorite appropriate media franchise]. And the Tumblr RPG's plot needs to have all of its characters covered, in roles both large and small.
That means that you are assigned to a stereotypical RPG role inside our new fantasy world. Spin this wheel to find out what you are now doing for a living.
Ancient post to be brought back from the dead but how could I forget CASSANDRA????
just watched dune (both parts) and am rereading the book. I may have a strange hyperfixation on characters who see the future but feel as though they can do nothing to change it. Clairvoyance as a curse instead of a gift.
the Tumblr feed feels like it has been slowly pushing me to write fanfiction and I'm not sure how to feel about that
“The Little Drummer Boy” (Christmas carol) is actually a great model for fanfiction because:
It centers around in-canon characters and/or a believable oc
It magnifies the spirit of the original work and/or builds upon pre-existing themes which resonated with the (fic) author
It uses literary devices (ex: onomatopoeia, symbolism)
It makes its point without carrying on too long
Suggests at sentient and musically talented animals
It’s meaningful to both the (fic) author and to a wide audience of people who are already acquainted with the in-canon story
The protag is not too OP to fit in the canon universe in a believable and engaging way; protag has realistic limits and weaknesses alongside his/her talents
Thank u for coming to my ted talk
My head honestly feels like it's going to explode, so if you never hear from me again, I'm probably dead.
Anyway, can we all agree that Eula's is a S-Tier waifu? She's just- *AAAAAAAAAAA* so cute
No one can look me in the eyes and tell me that she's not at least in the top 3 without blatantly lying. JUST LOOK AT HER!!!
Since I'm considering making new designs for my Redbubble shop, I'm thinking about my Plaidified Disney Princesses, including:
Sea serpent Ariel
Classic giant Snow White
And Rapunzel with a Jack and the Giant Beanstalk twist
Unfortunately, from what I researched, Disney isn't partnered with Redbubble's fanart program, which means selling Disney fanart is copyright infringement. But that doesn't mean I can't make my own designs based on the OG fairytales... [insert eyes emoji]
Anyway, just an idea I'm contemplating. I'm currently still figuring out details about Giant Kaiju Ladies designs and eager to see your suggestions--this fairytale concept is just a fun idea for future reference (and some cute G/t art for my fellow g/t-enjoyers haha)
as a big woman enjoyer I approve this message
Umm i think some of u guys should stop acting like female giants are bad or inherently sexual 🤗 why is every other aspect of g/t able to be nonsexual but as soon as its giant women u guys start tweaking like its the worst thing that could ever happen. Shut up and get some game!
