Alright I’ve broke. I’m gonna rewatch all of Phineas and Ferb. First thing I’d like to blog about:
I was just thinking the other day about how often they refer to Perry as semi aquatic yet he isn’t seen in water all that much (although my memory is spotty. last time I did a rewatch of the entire series was years ago) but here’s this little tank thingy for him to relax in. I don’t think we ever see it again, much less him using it. But it is a charming detail.
Shoto loving cats is one of my favorite headcanons for him

based on perry being possessive: do u think he'd be excited if doof was possessive over HIM?
Perry knows that he is. He IS happy about it. There's some proof of this;
1. In Nerds of a Feather, their b-plot centres around a TV show Heinz made up he named "Doof n Pus." Executive Jeff McGarland suggests giving the platypus a girlfriend. Heinz blew his TOP. ("Oh you suddenly know my characters more than me?!")
When the camera pans back to Perry, Perry's glaring at Jeff, smirking.
2. In Come Home Perry, Heinz found out that he's been demoted to Minor Threat, (already very upsetting) and that Perry's been relocated to the Quad State Area to fight the Regurgitator. I'm pretty sure Heinz then confronts the Regurgitator about Perry being HIS nemesis, but he chickens out of scolding the man to his face. He DOES put an escape button in Perry's trap though.
This episode establishes Perry's trust in Heinz.
3. Ok this is vague. But there's a book out there written from Heinz's perspective with a title I can't remember (paging @pnfc 's merch knowledge with this) where a feature includes doing a little quiz to find out which OWCA agent you're most compatible with. (Book is absolutely chock full of Perryshmirtz).
In that book, the highest villaney score lands you on Perry as the most compatible nemesis. But Heinz basically says that "But he's mine, so you can have Agent Chicken instead"
4. Heinz was also jealous when Perry started working together with Lila Loliberry in "Sidetracked". When they both confront Heinz in the dining car, Lila puts her arm around Perry, which he glares at and shoves away. Heinz had cackled, calling out how much Perry must hate this, considering his Lone Wolf tendencies. Perry very pointedly doesnt deny him.
In the Niagara Falls scene, Perry infamously puts his hand on Heinz's arm before he leaves, and they share a secret smile.
Heinz appears less jealous than Perry only because Perry's arguably the more aggressively possessive one. Perry's not the cheating sort either. Heinz sorta is. But he IS possessive. Perry DOES know Heinz is obsessed with him. They are both aware of each other's unhealthy codependency, the staple of every sweet romance.
