I want to know the same thing why was gyasto the only airbender with fire nation skeletons around him
Honestly what freaked me out the most in this scene wasn’t monk gyatso’s skeleton - we pretty much expected that. What freaked me out was all the firebender skeletons.
Monk gyatso was always portrayed as a light-hearted, peaceful man, both from roku and aang’s perspective (the most aggressive thing we see him do is drop pie on the other elders). Aang’s teachings of “respecting all life” almost undoubtedly came from gyatso, which is why it’s so hard to picture him killing all these people, even during a crisis.
The other thing that I wonder about is why were the only bodies found around him? Sokka found a helmet, but that’s not the same as a skeleton - it could have easily been lost in the confusion of the attack. So it begs the question: was gyatso the only airbender to fight back? Was he the only one who broke the airbender code of non violence? Did he die thinking he’d rather go down fighting then be executed like the others? I need to know what happened during the genocide

What's wrong with some people now a days
Harvard decided to rescind offers of acceptance to at leas 10 incoming youth for the class of 2021 after conducting an investigation that unfolded offensive messages these people posted on the social media, specifically on Facebook. They posted memes about rape, dead children, Holocaust as well as making racist jokes about Mexican children who were hypothetically hanged calling them “pinata time.”
The Ivy League university RESERVES the right to withdraw offers of acceptance if an “admitted student engages in behavior that brings into question his or her honesty, maturity, or moral character.”
Harvard exercised the right to choose who represents their institution. And I applaud this decision.

Nickelodeon Disrespects Stephen Hillenburg

Stephen Hillenburg passed away on November 26, 2018, and people all over commemorated his life and his creation. If you haven’t heard, Nickelodeon announced on June 4, 2019; a CGI SpongeBob Spin off around a 10 year-old SpongeBob attending camp. This has gotten a lot of backlash because Mr. Hillenburg always had certain rules that were not to be broken when working on SpongeBob, such as never allowing SpongeBob to pass his boating exam, never revealing pearl’s mother, and the recently broken one: Never make a SpongeBob spin off or crossover. As many have noted this show breaks one of the deceased Hillenburg’s rules and wishes for the future of SpongeBob. Not only is this unacceptable but i came across a horrible realization, they announced SpongeBob spin offs like this one would be coming back in FEBRUARY this year. That is ONLY 3 MONTHS after Hillenburg’s passing. This would insinuate it may be likely Nickelodeon have had this idea BEFORE his passing and waited until his passing to go through with it since there is no way Hillenburg could have a say considering he’s not alive to be there! An announcement means that they had to go around first to get everything lined up so it is likely this started right after his passing. I AM UPSET BECAUSE THEY WENT AGAINST STEPHEN HILLENBURG’S (A DEAD MAN”S) WISHES. They either waited till his passing to enact their plans OR came up with them immediately after his passing. AND ONLY 3 MONTHS AFTER THEY ANNOUNCED THIS. How could this be a coincidence? There’s no way it can be.
This is truly disgusting, and this needs to be heard by everyone!!!!
Teach boys about periods
My mother also talked about periods to my brothers.
When I first got mine I had terrible cramps. Crippling cramps. I once was camping with my family and a few of my big brother’s friends when my period came. My cramps were so bad that my mom gave me a full pain killer ( I was 13 and before that she only gave me pills cut in half).
I literally laid down on my parents’ air mattress and cried in pain for an hour before the pill kicked in.
My brothers friend came in to the big tent and I was just curled up and sobbing. Now, I was quite the tomboy and was known to rough house with my brothers and their friends and made sure I wasnt seen as just “a little girl.” So my brother’s friend was confused to see me openly weeping in the fetal position (seriously, these were the worst cramps I have had in my life. My vision went white). He asked what was wrong with me.
My big brother stood up immediately and suggested a nice long hike. During this hike I am sure he had a pretty awkward conversation with his friend explaining menstrual cramps, because when they got back the pain pill had (mostly) kicked in and I was sitting up at a table when my brother’s friend sheepishly asked me if I was feeling better. I said I was better, and he said good.
When we made s'mores that night my brother and his friend kept me well supplied with chocolate.
Making sure sons know as much about periods and menstruation as daughters makes them better brothers, better sons better fathers, and better men. A man that understands a period will not lightly accuse a woman of “being on her period” if the woman is in an argument.
Raise better sons Teach them about normal bodily functions.
No matter how hard or scary or horrible the world can be their will always be someone who will be their to make it a little better
Always try to find the good even in the darkest of days
