How do we know which part of the love story we're in?

Are we in the really difficult part before we get our shit together and it's about to get really fucking good?

Or is our story the one that kicks off my book of falling in love with myself and finding peace or someone else? Is this the story that leads to my story, alone?

If it's the first...how many more chapters until we get to the part where it all makes sense and neither one of us knows how we ever lived for a second without the other?

If it's the second...God, can you just rip my heart out now so we can get on with it?

I don't know about you all, but I got Pride vibes (from Full Metal Alchemist) with The Nightmare and so paid a little homage to that here. I know functionally it would be more like Greed/Ling, but the patient and lethal personality reminded me of Pride.

Oh no - I totally agree with you! Canon-wise, Ron is the ONLY choice. It would have been tragic for her to be paired off with someone else - it wouldn't have matched the tone of the story at all.

Literally just on a realisitc, psychological level and returning to these characters as an adult, the brain does kind of go, "Wowwww this could have gone down so differently."
