self-confidence, i’m realizing, is a lot deeper than just thinking i’m beautiful and being free in who i am. it also includes being confident in my decisions and trusting myself to be committed to the things i want to do. to step outside of my comfort zone and assure myself that i will be okay in doing so. this kind of self-confidence will help me see the success i want to see.
SOMEONE FINALLY SAID IT
- Fine.
Diet is no. 1 factor in clearing your skin. You can use most expensive products, but if your diet is bad, your skin will never clear up. Best way to clear your skin is to solve a root problem, which usually comes from the inside of your body. It can be inflammation, too much sugar or fat, or hormonal imbalance. All those things can be fixed by a good diet. Here is a diet plan to follow to get clear, healthy and glowing skin:
- food rich in antioxidants (dark colored plants, like berries, kale and broccoli)
- food rich in vitamin A (carrots, red potato and salmon)
- food rich in zinc (meat, shellfish, nuts and seeds)
- whole grains (brown rice, quinoa, oatmeal)
- healthy oils (foods rich in omega-3 - olive oil, mackerel, salmon, chia seeds)
- foods rich in vitamins (tomato, apple, kiwi)
- a lot of water, green tea and vegetable juice
- dairy (milk, yogurt, cheese, ice cream)*
- processed sugars (candy, sauces, sodas)*
- unhealthy fats (sunflower oil, palm oil, vegetable oil, animal fat)
- unhealthy carbs (white bread, pasta)
*foods to avoid completely (100%), very important
It’s important to follow this diet consistently, not only when your skin clears up, so that it stays clear. Also, give it a month in order to see results, don’t give up by first week. Remember, don’t restrict yourself too much, it’s okay to cheat once in a while and you don’t need to follow this plan word by word, but it will definitely give a best result, and not only will your skin clear up, you will also have much more energy and be healthier overall.
Disclamer: If your skin doesn’t clear up in a month of following this diet, you might have more severe hormonal imbalance. Contact your doctor in order to get your hormones checked.

A year from now, you’ll be happy you started today
My Mother taught me from a young age to never be embarrassed. If you’re afraid of bumping into someone, looking badly, or awkward moments— she insisted it’s much more embarrassing for the other person. See your ugly ex at the grocery store? It’s awkward for them, not you. You made a scene at the nail salon because your nails are nothing like the pic you brought? Humiliating for them bc they need to do better. Learning a technical skill in a group of people? That group of people are shitting their pants! This advice boosted my confidence and trained me to be unapologetic in who I am. Eliminate all fear from your being. The more accepting you are, the more the world opens up to you and opportunities come your way!
i miss the two of them so much it hurts
wash your face every night - washcloth, warm water, and a simple cleanser will do wonders. plus, warm water helps make you all sleepy for bed
take a multivitamin every day - and keep an eye open for coupons for them. usually multivitamins have some pretty great coupons
if you can, open the windows every once in a while. fresh air does a lot of good for your body (and state of mind)!
keep a few cleaning supplies in the bathroom. every so often after having a shower, give things a quick wipe-down. the steam from the shower dislodges any sink guck, making the job much easier - and never underestimate the power of a clean bathroom for both physical and mental health
keep a water bottle by the bed and drink some water when you wake up. it’ll help you greet the day a little easier, and plus - whose mouth ISN’T as dry as the sahara when they wake up?
it’s not always easy, but try to make doing dishes before turning in for the night a habit. i can’t express how lovely it is to wake up and walk into a clean and tidy kitchen
keep snacks in the fridge that are delicious and healthy - my faves are strawberries, cherry tomatoes, and grapes. i love snacks. plus, there’s not really much prep involved with those kinds of things
sweep! sweeping takes up a bit more physical energy, but it’s become one of my favourite things to do. i put on some nice music and visualize sweeping out not only dirt, but anything else clouding up my space - negative energy, self doubt, etc. it’s a nice, witchy little ritual for me now.
light a candle, specifically one that smells delicious
identify the things that make you feel better about yourself and your surroundings and prioritize them and only them when you’re feeling sucky. that way, you still feel accomplished, but you aren’t using up all your mental and physical energy trying to run through all your tasks/cleaning/etc
remember that you’re doing these things for you, and not anyone else. you deserve to feel happy and at ease!
are you living or are you just jumping from one obsession to the other to run away from yourself
The heroes nearly won with the “Friendship is power” trope, but lost because the villains did that trope but better.
Nobody could be that clever. You could.
