It's complete! I am very proud of this piece. It is many firsts - drawing Lotus Tower, drawing a seascape, drawing a funky little bird.

I am also disappointed that it doesn't quite match the feelings present in the original concept I had. But I do like how the sea and the clouds evoke something restless or chaotic, in contrast with the straight, sure lines of Lianhua Lou.

Not quite sure what to name this one yet, but once it has a title it might go up on my inprnt. It will also be posted to my IG shortly.

A minimalistic digital drawing of a opossum standing on all fours with two little opossum joeys lying on its back. All the opossums have a big circular eye and pupil, with line markings at the front and back of the eye in a way reminiscent of eyeliner. The adult opossum's right eye (left for viewer) is closed with a purple scar across it. It had a purple, rat-like tail that curls around towards it face. All the opossums have a white faces, purple noses, jagged whiskers, black round ears and grey bodies, the adult opossum being the darkest grey and the two joeys being lighter shades. The lighter joey on the left is lying stomach down on the adult's back, and in its paws it is holding the top of the ace flag (black stripe, grey stripe, white stripe, purple stripe) which hangs down towards the adult's legs (which have off-white fingers and claws). The other joey to the right is sitting up, its body mostly hidden behind the lighter joey and the adult's fur. All of the opossum's colouring are made up of those seen on the asexual flag. The background is lavender.

It also have black tear-drop markings running along the top of its head and along the sides. It has a heart shaped white patch of feathers on its chest, and white stripes and purple dots on its wings. In the owl's black beak, it is holding the pole of the ace flag (black stripe, grey stripe, white stripe, purple stripe). The owl's colouring matches the colouring of the ace flag. The background is lavender.
