You know why I love the endings with this scene in it? Not just because it's insanely sweet and definitely something that touches you after all the insanity, but because of the raw emotion here.

Murphy's been in prison for God knows how long and, if the monsters are anything to go by, he's afraid of people. Since Charlie's death, he's been living through hell: going to prison, breaking up with his wife, getting unsatisfying revenge, watching Frank being bashed and, of course, Silent hill.

Then not only Anne says she forgives him, but she pulls him into a hug. Murphy probably hadn't had any human interaction for a long time. Anne's hug is probably the most normal and affectionate thing that's happened to Murphy since his life went to hell that the close up of his face really shows how much he's just embracing the forgiveness.

This is easily one of my favourite scenes in Silent Hill- it's really the end of that long road... Isn't it Mr. Pendleton?

By right, Scarlet should have had a date. Of course, being the awkward, shy girl she was, she never had the courage to ask anyone. The boys she knew were all... boys: Joey Barlett was just mean and Josh Shepherd was still teasing her about her dolls.

Scarlet only wanted to have fun on her first ever prom; yet the young girl couldn't help but feel a little lonely. She didn't want to bother anyone but still... Maybe she should have taken Female Walter's advice and threatened someone with a chainsaw...

It reached over, patting Scarlet on the back with it's oversized, sharp hands, careful not to rip the red cardigan or purple dress.

She was right. She wasn't going alone. She was going with her best friend.

Taking a deep breath, the little girl walked into the location her role model (female Walter) had told her about. Sure she was here early- but she wasn't going to be nervous. She was just going to take advantage of it and enjoy the night as best as she could.

((Bug: I just had an idea for a collab amongst the SH ask blogs and i wanna know if anyone wants to participate. 

Basically, you just draw whoever your ask-blog is dedicated to in an awesome pose or something, and then we organize the individual pictures into one big picture. It’d be kind of cool to see a mesh of styles for one awesome piece of art.
