don't use double quotation marks ("like this") in your tags if you're talking in the tags- it'll format it wrong and mess up what you're trying to say by taking whatever you put in the quotes and kicking it to the front of your tags. so for example, if you're trying to say
#you'd have to be an idiot to believe that "there's no such thing as greenland" #smh
it will format as
#there's no such thing as greenland #you'd have to be an idiot to believe that #smh
if you want to use quotations in the tags, i would recommend just using single quotes instead ('like this')! i'm not sure why tumblr does this, but it's very odd and it's been a problem for years.
rage against the machine, rage meaning crying and the machine meaning the totality checker
i do appreciate that tumblr drafts list the creation timestamp but it is a bit embarrassing when looking through them
Ever listen to Pinocchio-P? His early work was a little too unremarkable compared to other producers at the time but when Human dropped in 2018 i think he really came into his own, commercially and artistically. His latest work has a clear crisp sound and the layering of a lower human voice over the shrill simulated vocals really gives the songs a big boost. He’s been compared to DECO*27 but I think Pinocchio-P has a far more bitter, cynical sense of humour. In 2019 Pinocchio-P released this: “ZERO-GO”, his most accomplished album. I think his undisputed masterpiece is “Ghosts Play to the Audience”, a song so catchy, most people probably don’t listen to the lyrics, but they should. Because its not just about the pleasures of conformity and the importance of trends, its also a personal statement about the producer himself. Hey followers!
baseball fun fact! the home plate is a mathematical impossibility, a living nightmare, a spit in the face of reason and sensibility
The problem with my brain (okay ONE OF the problems with my brain) is that I tend to mentally classify things as "done" or "not yet done", including jokes I've thought of. They're not done until I've posted them.
This would be fine except my brain also has the sense of humor of a 1950s gradeschool bully, so I'll be doing something like ordering from UberEats and it'll be like "More like GOOBER-EATS, AM I RIGHT?"
And ya'll don't need to see that. It's not worth it. But until I post it, my brain will forever consider that a todo item, and it will annoy me
Contemporaries called it "The Great Slut Phase" and "The Slut Phase to end all Slut Phases" (later sources call it the First Slut Phase)
