i’m home sick with the flu and i just received this email from my father
tumblr just deleted a huge swathe of palestinians who were on here trying to fundraise. if you've been helping any of these fundraisers please take this time to 1) check in with palestinians you're in contact with 2) help them submit support requests if needed 3) keep these campaigns circulating while the beneficiaries are being silenced. these campaigns are life or death, this isn't just social networking. do not let these fundraisers languish.
🛑My three daughters' lives are in danger!!! 🚨

Happy October 3rd!
For me, dulce de leche is first, but vanilla is a close 2nd. But what's your favorite? Did I skip it?
And while you're here, please share and donate to be able to help a woman widowed by genocide and her 2 young children. They live in a tent exposed to the elements and bugs, and winter is fast approaching.

Words cannot express how utterly disappointed I am when it comes to helping Sudan. People are hesitant to show their support. They would even dismiss it. No, I am not making this shit up. I have been talking to people about Sudan and their reaction is lacklustre!
I know anti-blackness plays a significant role, along with the lack of media coverage (which is, again, due to anti-blackness), but this is unacceptable. Many people are dying. The country going through a flooding. Homes are destroyed. Families are displaced. Famine is claiming more lives than the RSF (Rapid Support Forces) and SAF (Sudanese Armed Forces) combined.
They need our help!
There is one way you can show your support! Kindly have a look at this fundraiser. It belongs to Eman Abdelrahman (@emooz-8). She is a 25 year old Sudanese and she is raising funds to evacuate. She has been campaigning since January of this year, but she struggles to receive donations to this day! The last one was made 2 DAYS AGO!
Let's pick up the pace and aim for a doable goal once again - 30K in 3 days! As of writing this (Sept 9th), 29,517 CHF has been raised! There is only 483 CHF left to go! Please check your currency exchange. It is in Swiss Franc! ($10 USD = 8 CHF)
There is also a fundraiser for her extended family. Please keep in mind that it is in Singaporean Dollars, so double check with your currency exchange! ($10 USD = $13 SGD)
You can even match me! I've given 5 CHF and $5 SGD!
Verification (#213).
Thank you!
I'm writing this post to bring attention to the GFM campaign of @nor-famaily, a mother of five in Gaza.
Last week, Nour came very close to dying. She was out getting food for her family when a building close to their tent was bombed. Because of the injuries Nour suffered, she now has to rely more on her children, the oldest being only 13, to secure water and food for the family's survival.
If you have the means, please consider donating. Even a small donation could make a big difference!
For information on how this campaign has been vetted and organized, see this post by @/killy.
I won't keep you long. Here are the facts:
Siraj Abudayeh @siraj2024 is a Gazan journalist and a father of three.
He and his family have been displaced 7 times.
They have survived multiple recent massacres in Khan Yunis.
They live in a tent that feels like a "convection oven".
He can hear tank fire across the street.
His parents and siblings escaped Deir al-Balah and are now homeless; he has to care for them too.
He needs to raise $5,000 CAD / $3653 USD by the end of the day.
He's probably gotten a hundred thousand notes on his posts at this point.
This has been meaningless. His campaign moves at a glacial pace.
The Palestinian genocide is the fault of the US, UK, Israel, and the imperial core in general.
When we in the imperial core do not donate to people like him, we perpetuate the genocide.

i genuinely hate how people have to sit and write a post that stands out while boosting a fundraiser because most people won't bat an eye at the misery and inhumane conditions Palestinians are living in.
i see people making art and telling others to use it because fundraisers with art are generally reblogged more often. i see people using colored text in order to make the post more eye catching.
palestinians on instagram are using popular audios and stitch trending reels at the beginning to make the world pay attention to them. imagine having to make something look entertaining in order to survive.
they are living under constant threat of israeli airstrikes, bombing, scarcity of food and disease. many have lost a lot in the past few months.
palestinians on tumblr are posting their pictures and the horrible conditions in which they are living. they travel long distances for internet connection only to be called a scammer by some privileged ass who cannot locate gaza on a map.
here are some verified gfms. please share the linked posts. it's the bare minimum we can do from the comforts of our home.

I know you have all probably seen the esims for gaza posts circulating. Some of you have probably looked at them and thought maybe you should help out, but have weighed up the daunting process of signing up for something you're unfamiliar with vs. the gut-wrenching scale of the things people are going through on the ground right now, and you've put it off or questioned whether it will make enough of a difference vs. some other future kind of activism you could put that $6+ towards. I'm not calling you out or scolding you, it is natural to feel conflicted and ambivalent about the multiple calls for aid that you are seeing on social media.
but consider this: what would you do if you suddenly had to leave your home? how would you cope? how would you begin to plan where to go next, or figure out what to do to take care of yourself? most likely you would reach reflexively for your phone.
telecoms access is not a petty luxury in 2024. a loaded esim means the ability to call family members and find out where they are and whether they're safe, and whether they need anything you can provide for them. it means access to maps and regular updates on the situation unfolding around you. it means you can look up whether it's safe to drink rain water, or how to tie a type of knot you've never had to think about before, or how to treat an injury without medical supplies. it means the ability to tell people outside the situation what you are seeing, what you are feeling, what you are thinking. it is an absolutely crucial resource. and it starts at $6 for 7 days.
many many people have observed that internet access is changing the way the world understands genocide. internet access is life or death, and it is shaping modern history in front of you. and it starts at $6 for 7 days.
please, please visit gazaesims.com and spend 5 minutes and $6 to change the way this plays out for everyone.
“Hello Friends:
We are The Sameer Project (@TheSameerProject): A donations based aid initiative working to supply emergency funding to the displaced families in Gaza.
The “Sameer Abu Salim Tent Initiative” (named after one of our team member’s martyred father) was formed to secure, purchase, and distribute tents in Southern Gaza, with the hope of expanding very soon to the North as well.
The Sameer Project also supplies cash envelops on an “as needed” basis to allow families the independence to secure the specific aid they require for themselves.
The vast majority of Gaza Strip has been bombed and destroyed which has lead to the death of over 40,000 people (including 15,000 children) and the displacement of around 2 million people.
Most of the people in Rafah (Southern Gaza) are sheltering in tents. However, the quality of these tents varies and the high-quality, portable and reusable tents (Emirati & Qatari), that were originally intended to be given out for free, end up on the secondary market sold for $800 a tent. This is due to war profiteering and people capitalizing on the desperation of people in Gaza. The benefits of purchasing these particular tents are listed below.
We have been securing tents for the last few months and managed, through your donations, to purchase 181 units and deliver them to families in need. However, with the looming Rafah invasion and the increase in bombardment, the demand is at an all time high. Our list has upwards of 250 families, so we need your help to purchase and distribute more! We work with an incredible team on the ground to source, purchase, store, and distribute to families, many of whom are currently without any type of shelter.
With your donation we can provide a degree of safety, shelter, and dignity for these families who are in desperate need of assistance.”
Oh my God, for this injustice, for the third time in a row, Tumblr has restricted my personal account, because I am from Gaza and because I post about Gaza and what we live and what we feel. I ask you, in every sense of the word, to support me, share my account, and donate so that it reaches the largest possible number of people who want to help me. I need you to stand by my side. This is my call to you, my friends and my loved ones
for the past several months, palestinian men have shown a great amount courage and bravery in the face of danger.
they have dug people and children out of rubble, sometimes alive and sometimes dead. they have travelled miles and miles to provide food and water for their family.
they have come online pleading with everyone to help them. many travel long distances for internet connection. they have been on the frontlines for months, providing for their family, documenting the genocide, helping people and in many instances, dying.
in return, they have been dehumanised, their lives are not counted as 'precious' because they are men. people have been indifferent to their suffering and death. they have been called scammers, all while they face the dangers of airstrikes, food and water scarcity, and disease. they have been dehumanised to such an extent that people refuse to help their fundraisers.
i urge you all to share the linked posts and donate what you can spare to those who are suffering. we owe it to them, for we never talk about their suffering.

Donate to Help Dr. Ahmed M A Hamad Escape Gaza Strip, Organised by Hamad Jehad 🙏🙏🙏
Hello, My name is Dr. Ahmed M. A. Hamad, and I am from the Gaza Strip. Recently married, I have dedicated my life to academia, with a strong ambition to teach and contribute to my country. Unfortunately, the recent Israeli aggression in Gaza has left us with no home or job prospects, and staying in Gaza is no longer an option.
In search of safety and stability, my wife and I have made the difficult decision to leave Gaza. We are seeking job opportunities abroad and hoping to obtain new nationalities to rebuild our lives. Your support will help us cover the costs of relocation, housing, and the initial steps of our new journey.
We humbly ask for your assistance in helping us start afresh and pursue our dreams in a safer environment.
Any contribution, big or small, will make a significant difference in our lives.
Thank you for your kindness and support.

I believe that good will always overcome evil, just as spring comes, and with it eternal life, overcoming the bitter cold of winter. We will overcome this genocide very soon with God's help and your continued help and support. One of the advantages we achieved during the war is to convey to you our voice, which has not been heard for many years, and to reveal the nature of this occupation and its actions that have been covered up for hundreds of years.
I would like to introduce you to my simple Palestinian family, who lived in peace in a very beautiful house consisting of a ground and upper floor and a charming garden that we renovated shortly before the war, but the occupation had a different opinion regarding the barbaric bombing of civilians and homes. The occupation destroyed our dear home, which reminded me of my father, the dearest person in the world. My life, may God have mercy on him. The occupation killed every happy and even sad memory by bombing our house.
This is my aunt Rifqa, my younger brother Ahmed, in his last year of school before university. My aunt's house was next door to ours, and she had been single for years. She was not married, and since we are a small family, I have no uncles, because my father was single. It was always my duty to check on my aunt and provide her with everything from food, drink, medicine, and everything else. Before I went to university every day, I always liked to go there to have breakfast together, chat and get her approval before I went to my studies. The memories of the occupation bombing my aunt’s house also disappeared.
This our beloved home before and after Israeli bombing 💔
My priority is to help this kind old woman, when the Rafah crossing is opened, to leave the Gaza Strip safely for Egypt. I do not care about the homes destroyed by the occupation. Money can be compensated, but the soul can be compensated. I don't want to see my aunt again. I want her to be with us again. This is really what I want. I want to send her money so that she can support herself in the northern Gaza Strip. The prices are crazy, folks, especially the food prices.

this is my friend Ali Al-Tababi, and my name is Ghazi Sheto, but he was closer to me than many people in my family. I met Ali at university, and we had a goal: to graduate and work together. We will stay up all night to make this dream come true. He was always at my house, playing, studying, sleeping together and going to university together. We were conjoined twins. Quote. Him and all his family members. You can see the massacre of the Tabatabai family. May God have mercy on them all. I want to fulfill my dream and my friend’s dream and bring my aunt to Egypt and build my house again if possible.
He asked for 30 thousand as compensation, less than a little for what we lost in the war. Frankly, our homes cost half a million dollars, but I asked for 30 thousand so that I could bring my aunt and protect her soul from being killed and so that she could do that. Come to Egypt safely and give her food and drink while she is stuck in northern Gaza, but unfortunately I have only collected $500 so far.
These donations will go to my aunt, the old woman stranded in the northern Gaza Strip, to give her the opportunity to travel, protect her life from being killed, and secure her daily sustenance of food and nutrition. I ask everyone who can help, do not hesitate, because we really need help. Thank you all, and I hope you don't suffer as I do. We suffered, especially my weak aunt.

These are all actual conversations I had with @mohammedayesh . In fact, while I was working on finishing this comic today, he sent me a video of bomber planes flying above them. There is not a single place in Gaza that is safe.
Please support Mohammed if you can by donating to his campaign or his PayPal below. He is less than €3000 away from his goal of €15,000. If you cannot donate, then please share. Let’s bring him hope that he can evacuate safely!! <3

@90-ghost @nabulsi
I'm Abdelrahman, 22 years old. My journey has been marked by loss and resilience. When I was 18, my father passed away from COVID-19. Determined to build my own future, I pursued an education in multimedia technology, balancing my studies with work to cover my expenses. I was preparing to establish my home and life.
My mother: the princess whom we strive to make happy and satisfy. ❤️️
However, the war in Gaza, especially in the north, brought devastating tragedy. My home, university, job, and family were all destroyed in the conflict. While my family moved to the south, I was in the north, facing famine and moving from place to place, trying to survive.
Our street used to be lively and full of people, but it is no longer like that.
I have witnessed countless difficult and painful scenes while escaping death multiple times. In northern Gaza, life is reduced to a cycle of fleeing from danger and searching for food amidst the rubble of destroyed homes.
I have survived many times,I was hit by a missile in previously destroyed house
My dream is to travel abroad with my mother and sister to continue my education and develop my practical skills. For the past eight months, I have been unemployed, focusing on self-improvement and hoping for a better future.
A new gruesome massacre that Israel had committed in a displacement camp in Mawasi. If you're finding the name Mawasi too familiar, it is because just a few days ago, Palestinians in Gaza were sharing the orders they received from Israel to move to that area specifically in Khanyounis.
At least 100 Palestinians have been killed and the number is very likely going to rise, considering there is only one hospital in the area, Nasser hospital, which is barely functioning with no fuel to generate power, not enough beds or manpower. Even mortuary refrigerators are reportedly too full.
The massacre took place in the very early hours of the morning when families were still in their tents, before embarking on their daily search for food and water. Israel knows this and yet deliberately timed this attack as if to maximise the number of victims.
The makeshift tents, made from plastic and nylon, were attacked by three F16 airstrikes, 10 drone strikes, and followed by live ammunition fired from quadcopters. The magnitude of this massacre is so massive that many families were actually killed by being buried by mountains of sand as a result of the explosions, which you can see in this footage of the early moments of the attack. A woman testified to one of the correspondents that she had her 2 month old baby in her arm but he flew out of her arms due to the huge impact of the explosions and that she was still looking for him.
Mawasi is one of the most densely populated areas in Gaza with over one million people crammed in it. Israel's weaponry, including the drones and quadcopters that were used in this massacre, have the ability to detect who is in the area. We have seen this pattern repeatedly for the past 9 months, so make no mistake that this is an annihilation campaign against Palestinians done literally in broad daylight.
