I'm so glad you're here!! Welcome!! I haven't mentioned my new Tumblr account on AO3 so I'm so glad you found me in the meantime!! I'm definitely dropping this story tomorrow, I just need to do a quick edit!
Work kicked my ass today, I've honestly looking forward to bed since 6 P.M but had enough energy to come on and say thank you for your support and I'm so excited for you to read this second part ❤️
The heat and work have kicked my ass these past few days, but I'm hoping to drop my next fic either tonight or tomorrow! Friday at the absolute latest! Here's a sneak peek of the art for those who are interested!
More details I found looking at his page: He works as a cnc designer professionally for biomedical and aerospace industries and he designed and manufactured this himself. None of the eyes he’s made (he’s made MANY!) are 3D printed, they’re machined, medical grade titanium so they don’t get hot from the LED and are safe to use as a prosthetic. He wants to make them for other people at some point, but says he has a lot of research and development to do before that can happen.
I'm a private instructor for kids between 6 and 18 with most of my small kids being middle schoolers. I'm the person you send your kids to when they just aren't quite getting it any other way.
I've been teaching small classes for summer school/tutoring all summer and today during a break I opened up some pop-tarts to snack on and my 4th grader just screamed: "IS THAT A BURRITO???"
Another kid chimed in with "Um, that's clearly a flatbread pizza??"
Long story short we ended up having a healthy discussion about it and decided that a pop-tart, is in fact, a ravioli.
Thank you for coming to our TEDTalk.
"Haha, of course there's a teacher shortage, they're all learning their worth and quitting! Good for them!"
A quick Google search for "teacher covid deaths" turns up pages and pages and pages of articles about dead teachers.
They're not quitting. They're dying.
