this barbie's on mobile and available on discord if you wanna yell about anything, movie wise && plot wise : ronniekins
Reblog this if it's okay to have people message you if you accidentally unfollowed them. I've lost count the number of times I've seen my mutuals bringing up that the unfollowing glitch has come around again (or still). This is why it's incredibly important to state in your rules to softblock or hardblock when breaking ties.
today was a special day. i woke up with these exact lyrics in my mind : oh the misery, everybody wants to be ... my kennemy. so i did just that. this barbie now has a ken.
once the spotlights are turned off and the curtain is drawn closed, this barbie tends to stay hidden. of course she couldn't miss this party â it was the biggest event of that day, after all â, but she didn't want to be the center of attention either. hence why she was standing in the corner, leaning on the wall, playing with the liquid in her glass. she didn't taste it, in fact, it was really odd there was actually something in the glass. usually it's nothing.
she's startled by another's presence and she notices the liquid spilled on the floor â for a brief moment, barbie doesn't distinguish whether or not it was hers. chin rose up to look at the person that approached her and she's somewhat relieved it was ken.  " hi ken, "  she uttered, lips pursed together in a thin line. she was fighting the urge not to smile and, consequently, be rude towards ken since he wasn't exactly himself.
" you have just described more than half of the barbies hereâŚÂ "  slender hand reaches for his glass, with the intent to take it from him.  " how about this : we go get another drink and then look for your barbie. how that sound? "
barbie did not have much going on for the holidays â if you disconsider the giant blowout party with all her friends, acquaintances and other people she's worked with over the years on movie sets and the dj she hired to mix christmas tunes. it was just another typical night preceding a holiday from her perspective. eartha kitt's santa baby was resonating throughout her residence as she gracefully transversed across the tiny cliques, trying to make brief conversations with each of them, until her cerulean optics laid upon sheldon. everlasting beam that graced her features spread even wider whilst high heels clicked underneath the porcelain floor as she made her way towards @sheldoney. ââ there you are! what do you think of this party? ââ she queried over the loud music, leaning ever so slightly towards him. ââ oh. oh! ââ cue a sudden exclaim as her gaze drifted upward towards one of the many mistletoes she put around the house to surprise the guests. as it turns out, it also came as a surprise for barbie herself. index finger points skyward, ââ d'ya know what they say about standing under the mistletoe, right? may i? ââ a light nod of the head follows, as she stares at him, waiting for an answer. barbie, mindful of mutual respect, refrained from seizing the moment outright, opting instead to observe tradition with a sense of decorum.

â  you almost had it, [name]. here, let me show you. â â  youâve just gotta find the courage to try. â â  you canât tell me what to do! â â  donât worry, iâll wait until your party is over before i perform any mischief. â â  some people never change. but we can always hope. â â  you must have felt like a princess. â â  i wish i could have been there. â â  maybe next time you can come with me. â â  not so fearless now, hmm? â â  youâre not going to get away from me this time. â â  itâs dangerous, yes. but not impossible. â â  me? with you? in there? i donât think so. â â  this is crazy. but, yes. â â  here, let me give you a hand. â â  well, iâm sorry, but you should have been more careful. â â  i wish i could remember but iâm so hungry. â â  that would be a shame, then i couldnât tell you the juicy bit of gossip i overheard. â â  i didnât know things had gotten this bad. â â  well, what have we here? â â  well, if you have nothing to hide you wonât mind answering a few questions. â â  iâve never heard such a ridiculous story! â â  i do believe iâm starting to rub off on you. â â you want me to babysit a rock? â â  why havenât you told anyone? â â  perhaps you should remember whoâs in charge of this expedition. â â  are you sure youâre alright to travel? â â  that is what you want, isnât it? â â  i should have never come, what was i thinking? â â  what am i saying? i canât leave! iâm their only hope! â â  are you sure about this? â â  ah, youâre just in time for your party. â â  thereâs more to being king than having a crown. â â  i donât need their loyalty. i donât even need them! â â  i am afraid i underestimated you. â â  you and i know youâre much more than that. â â  none of this would have been possible without you, [name]. â â  i absolutely despise happy endings! â â  itâs about time you got up. â â  itâs not a story â it really happened. â â  iâm verry happy to ⌠meet you. â
both hands delicately hover to hide the mouth â a manifestation of barbie's anticipation for gift giving surpassing even the enthusiasm for the holidays.. there was something too special about seeing another unwrap a present, knowing or otherwise what it contains. the way their eyes lit up with joy and the way a wide smile spreads across their features, as they return to the past, when they were kids and everything much easier. kids deserve to be happy and, unfortunately, for barbie everyone's a kid of someone else. which doesn't leave anyone she knows without a little present. cerulean optics observe chrissy intently, as if not to miss the peak of joy. a melodic chuckle escapes her throat upon hearing chrissy's first verbal reaction. hands clapped together as her fingers interlaced. ââ yay, i'm so happy you're happy with it. at first i was thinking maybe i should bring you there and let you get your own bear, but then i thought about it and i couldn't spare you the element of surprise. ââ unable to contain herself, she involuntarily spills the beans â. it was extremely difficult for her to keep such a secret hidden as it often overflowed her psyche. the compulsion to divulge or bestow presents promptly upon acquisition was simply insurmountable. ââ luckily, i found something you can choose from. you have to come with me to the christmas market but you'll be picking what we'll do there. how's that sound? ââ
barbie has arrived to your inbox, chrissy. and guess what? she brought a pink care bear to which she put a santa hat on before badly wrapping it up. it was pretty obvious what was behind the red paper wrap, but barbie hopes the gesture overthrows the awful wrapping job she's done. ââ this belongs to you. i thought i should give it to you before we go to the christmas market. i just couldn't wait until christmas. i hope you like it? ââ
---âď¸ď˝Ąâ・ Chrissy's eyes absolutely lit up at the present. "You didn't have to get me anything," she nearly whispered out, taking the package from Barbie's hands. But the thought and excitement the woman showed made Chrissy excited to open it. The teen had a small hunch on what it could have been, but the excitement didn't lessen even as the younger carefully unwrapped the paper. (Chrissy had always been the type to make sure wrapping paper was taken off without any tears or rips. As pristine as she could keep it.) "Love-A-Lot Bear," she answered with a bit of aw in her voice, adjusting the little bear's hat. "Oh, I love it a lot," a giggle was evident in her voice at the slight pun. "Thank you. This really just started everything off in such a good spirit!"
( this is basically just a very self indulgent list of various fluff, angst, and suggestive themed dialogue sentence starters. )
â i could keep you safe. theyâre all afraid of me. â
â iâm trying to fix your hair, so hold still. â
â your heart is beating so fast right now. â
â promise me youâll still be here when i wake up. â
â youâre not as bad as everyone says you are. â
â i thought youâd like some company. âÂ
â clean yourself up. you're getting blood all over the place. â
â here, give this a try and tell me what you think. â
â you can kiss me, you know. â
â come back to bed. â
â you look good like this. â
â working together again, itâs just like old times. â
â how is it you always know what i need, huh? â
â youâre lucky you got away with only a scratch. âÂ
â i canât imagine losing someone like that. iâm sorry. â
â you know you can always talk to me. â
â the only one who gets to kill you, is me. â
â so, what do i owe this pleasure? â
â ah, so you arenât heartless after all. â
â may i have this dance? âÂ
â itâs okay, you can touch me. i won't break. â
â enemies make the best lovers, you know. â
â hold still. this might sting a little. â
â we can't keep doing this. âÂ
â you look like you've got something to say. â
â just relax and let me take care of you. â
â thought youâd be lighter without all that blood. â
â i had it under control. you didnât need to do that. â
â everything looks so beautiful from up here. â
â you treat all your ladies like this? â
â well? how do i look? â
â canât sleep? â
â do you mind if i smoke? â
â iâm scared of ending up alone. â
â i donât think iâve ever seen you smile. â
â how long has it been since you've slept? â
â you are losing my interest, and thatâs very dangerous. â
â iâd suffer hell if youâd tell me what youâd do to me tonight. â
â you look really pretty right now. â
â iâve never cared for anyone the way i care for you. â
â iâm not wearing any underwear. thought youâd like to know. â
â just a few more stitches and youâll be as good as new. â
â iâd say we make a pretty good team. â
â i want you to forget this ever happened. â
â i'm here for business â not pleasure. â
â if i didn't know any better, i'd say you were jealous. â
â you'd look better down on your knees. â
â fine, keep acting like you hate me. â
â kiss me again. â
â are you asking me out on a date? â
â just sit there and look pretty and let me handle this. â
â you okay? caught you staring off into space again. â
â well, i do feel better now that you're here. â
â i'm not drunk enough for this. âÂ
â why is it whenever we see each other, youâre covered in blood? â
â i was wrong about you. âÂ
â the first time i met you, i had no idea you'd mean this much. â
â you gonna be a good girl / boy for me? â
â iâm not afraid of you. â
â books mean more to me than people anyway. â
â i just wanted to say thank you for protecting me. â
â how about a kiss goodnight? â
â i donât have time for distractions right now. â
â you shouldnât be out here by yourself. âÂ
â if i have to think about one more thing today, my head will explode. â
frankie reminded me to write why barbie roberts and wednesday addams are ONE AND THE SAME. of course, that is from my own point of view since i'm writing them both with personal headcanons and everything. so here we go.
both barbie and wednesday have little to no knowledge about human emotions â they try to make it logical, but it almost never works out for them.
both barbie and wednesday have signature colors â fun fact, wednesday's signature color used to be pink too! also black and pink are really nice colors. i know black isn't technically a color but fight me, i stand by what i said.
both barbie and wednesday CANONICALLY (i don't agree with that bs) have something against men / masculinity overall. barbie dismisses ken just as wednesday dismisses xavier in the show. BOTH show some remorse by the finale.
both barbie and wednesday are defying stereotypes â the girly girl barbie breaks away from traditional gender roles while the goth barbie challenges typical perceptions of a young girl's interests. ALSO THEY ARE BOTH AIMED FOR LITTLE GIRLS!
both barbie and wednesday show the potential of dynamics between two or more people â barbie existence is linked with the other dolls (she has friends, boyfriend, even family members) && wednesday's existence is linked with her family (the infamous title: addams family values).
both barbie and wednesday are stubborn lil shits â look at any barbie movie and tell me she isn't stubborn af. look at any addams family movie or tv show or even comic and tell me wednesday isn't stubborn af. this is a dare. i dare you.
both barbie and wednesday are influenced by how the world perceives them â in the barbie movie, barbie went on a mental breakdown check when a girl called her a fascist. wednesday's villain origin story starts when she notices how her family's being treated by everyone else.
