HE'S GOT HIS SON AND HE'S GOT LAND AND HE'S GOT A HOUSE AND HE'S GOT A SHIP AND HE'S GOT HIS OLD JOB BACK AND
just rewatched the part of gwen dying, and then in nwh the way he dives for mj, he isn't reliant on his webs anymore, he put his entire being towards her to catch her and wraps himself around her to make sure she's safe. he won't let the same thing happen again, he won't let toms peter go through what he had to. and if he could save mj he could forgive himself just a little for what he couldn't do before.
One of my favorite parts of that interview was Scott saying that the reason it took so long to find a script he liked was because he wanted to keep the integrity of the innocent spirits inside of the animatronics. They couldn't just be your typical slasher characters because he didn't want to disrespect the fact that the spirits inside the suits are just scared children.
Rhaenyra telling Jace a joe biden story while he’s holding in the my name is paul mua’dib atreides speech so hard he’s actively having an aneurysm meanwhile her huncle is doing ayahuasca with a goth girl he met at hot topic two hours ago and the woman holding 60% of their cool points on her back has just exploded into meat chunks over southern ohio. black council in shambles this week I fear. the green council’s default state is shambles so that’s not news
"I'm so glad you're back, cos it killed me, Donna. It killed me, it killed me, it killed me."
pride and prejudice and zombies wasn’t too good of a film (for me personally anyway) but one thing i love about it is when charlotte and elizabeth are talking about marriage and elizabeth says, “i would never relinquish my sword for a ring.” to which charlotte replies, “for the right man you would.” and elizabeth then states, “the right man wouldn’t ask me to.”
and i just think that’s wonderful because so often women are told they would give up a passion of theirs for the “right man” but really, the “right man” wouldn’t ask you to give up what you love.
