Things we have learned about Dylan from Miles' Quarry Streams
- His Cat is named Schrodinger
-He listens to Vespertine by Bjork (Presumably with Ryan if they ever get to share headphones)
-He listens Yoshi Wada and Japanese new wave music
-His favorite colour is clear
These are bare minimum facts however I hold them near and dear to my heart
First off, spin this wheel.
You just landed on one of 200 fandoms that have been very popular somewhere on Tumblr over the years. Topics were chosen either from appearing on a @fandom end-of-year recap or from my own long (long, long) site memories before that.
also all of these fandoms are definitely things that really exist in the real world and none of them are Tumblr creations
I want to sad post about my dog bc she passed away and I want to reminisce about her before I get her cremated. So please, indulge me talking about my food loving, nervous, and biggest baby.
My dog was a, on the smaller side, Great Dane and her name was Scooby-Doo. Yes like the character and she lowkey acted like him too. Let’s go through a list of how she would act.
Y’know the bond Shaggy and Scooby had? Like it’s undeniable that they were the bestest friends? That was her for me. We got her after my childhood dog passed to help me cope with my brother’s and dog’s death. She was my rock. I’d come home from school or practice and she’d jump on me and put her paws on my chest to give me kisses. And I was the only one she’d do that to.
She DID NOT appreciate her front paws being touched. Shed side eye you like her life depended on it and pull her paws away. It was like I was a peasant and she was a royal.
She was very prone to embarrassment. My dad would make fun of her or laugh at her for doing something and she would come up to me and shove her head in my shoulder for comfort.
I couldn’t do anything with her there. She’d lay her head on my notebook, laptops, or chest and just stare and hit me with her muzzle or slap the shit out of me with her paw till it either fell out of my hands or I gave in and cuddled
She hated, and I mean hated, hats. You have a hat on? She’d bark till you take it off. And if you’re shaved or bald? She hated it even more.
She’d wag her tail anytime you’d sing the Scooby-Doo theme song. It was the one of last things she heard me sing to her before she passed away in my bed.
You have food? She’d be on ya. Sitting beside you or near you, sniffing the plate, patiently or very impatiently waiting for a piece. And of course, spoiled as she was, always got a piece, on account of my dad☝🏾
She loved fetch, but only with plushies. I have loads of plushies and I always got her plush toys. But of course, she wanted mine. She loved my Sanrio squishmellows and jack skelling plush. I remember she wanted to play and she snatched my hello kitty squishmellow while I was voice messaging my friend. So all my friend heard was,”SCOOB, PUT HER DOWN YOUNG LADY!”
She had a bunch of nick names. Gooby-goo, Gooby, Goobs, Scooby-Doo-Doo, big girl, young lady, little lady, boney ass, and my personal favorite, fatty bratty.
She liked cuddling under blankets and laying on my pillows with me. Almost every night, she was right beside me, head and paws on my chest.
Overall, I just miss my dog sm and I wish she was still here. She was my big baby and she’ll be my very last because I’m manic and I will kms if I ever go through this again😛🤞🏾. Here’s a pic of my genuine Scooby-Doo
Re-blog to see epic succulents
Some of the fantastically strange plants like the mermaid tail or the opal-like clear succulents look like they’re from another planet and something that aliens keep on their alien desks in their alien offices.
If you want to get one of these peculiar succulents for yourself or for your loved ones as a gift, the mermaid one is called a crested Senecio Vitalis while the clear one is the Haworthia Cooperi plant.
Haworthia succulents are popular because of their “leaf windows” which let in a lot of light for the plant. The “windows” also minimize water loss from evaporation because the rest of the plant is buried underground. Haworthia plants also have accordion-like roots that pull them deeper into the ground so that they can thrive.
Haworthia plants are easy to take care of and are great succulents for beginners: just pop them on the windowsill and they’ll be happy. Especially if you plop it into some gritty soil.
In general, succulents need plenty of light and you need to rotate them occasionally so all parts of it can enjoy the sun and to help it grow straight.
Overwatering is a big no-no, so check the soil regularly: if it’s dry, get your watering can ready. Also, keep in mind that succulents need more water during Spring and Summer and barely need any in Fall and Winter when they’re ‘resting.’ Finally, wipe the dust off your succulents to help them grow and become your picture-perfect plant-pals.
