I want a fic where Danny is adopted but not by the JL but a villian. BUT! It is a very minor villian to the point where people are absolutely gobsmacked when he calls the villian dad, like everyone just stops what they're doing and watch the interaction. Bonus points if they find out that Danny is an absolute powerhouse monster and wonder what entity away from God's light did they fuck to have him.

"That's your son?"

"The glowing white haired teen?"

"Yes."

You know what I’ve gotten obsessed with and inspired by? Dredge. 

You know what is also fun? Merfolk. What’s even better? Lovecraftian corrupted merfolk. Especially if say, one goes with the Lazarus Waters being a form of ectoplasm. So, in this? Lazarus waters are like lakes, while Amity Park, thanks to the Portal, and the barriers? It is an entire sea. 

There are islands, small areas that were once the tips of buildings that have gathered more landmass around them. There are mangroves, trees not like anything on earth or anywhere else stretching up in canopies dark enough to block out the sun, yet lit by the green waters. 

It goes deep. Mariana Trench deep, despite it being impossible. The GIW have explored for caves or tunnels, they’ve tried to find some sort of explanation, but there isn’t one. 

Now all that ecto? That has an effect on people. They mutate, they change, they adapt. Anywhere else would have been a slow death- something the GIW might have even been counting on. But Amity Park? It was founded by witches, it was the hotspot for the supernatural, even before the Fentonwork Portal. They’ve been dealing with this sort of energy in microdoses from the moment they first began to live in the city in any generation. 

But they begin to adapt. Shift into something… other. Some stay contaminated, clinging to human forms as they form homes on the tiny islands, fishing and farming what they can. Others become Liminal, almost seeming to meld with fish, some similar to ones of the Living and others something just to the left. Similar yes, but not quite… right. And then there are those that have truly melded with the energy of the dead, forms torn asunder by it, ripped apart and made anew by it. 

The first sign back when the barrier was activated, when they could no longer leave and were trapped were the fish in the lake. And now they are the same, with gazes of something Else, with gnashing teeth and a hunger gnawing at where hearts once were. 

But they aren’t monsters. They’re still themselves. Just a little… Other now.

Black History Month is coming and Duke Thomas is preparing to be a menace. He can get away with anything no matter the time of year, but February is when he gets to be ridiculous and nobody will call him on it.

“Your patrol report is late, Signal.”

“You want me to fill out the white man’s paperwork? In this holy month of melanin?”

Batman just blinks and turns back to the computer. “Understood, my apologies.”

Tim wants to choose what they’re ordering for dinner.

“It’s my turn to pick and I want Thai.”

Duke doesn’t even object to Thai, but this is his time to shine. Well, shine more than usual. “Why am I being subjected to the white man’s will?”

Tim nods and holds out his phone. “I apologize for my outburst, king.”

Duke orders Thai anyway.

Damian has an understanding of history akin to someone with advanced degrees in the subject, so he wants Duke to feel celebrated and honored every February. He’s also a gremlin and has Duke’s blessing to engage in some nonsense.

“I will not be participating in these…” Damian trails off and glances across the table at Duke, who gives him a thumbs up and an encouraging nod. “…these white man activities. They are oppressive and offensive to my ancestors.”

Dick and Jason exchange amused looks while Bruce’s face takes on a confused expression.

“You’re white,” the older man retorts. “Half, anyway. So half of your ancestors are the white man. And cleaning up after the dog you asked for isn’t exactly—“

“Sounds oppressive,” Jason interjects. “Not a good look, Bruce.”

“Not a good look,” Dick agrees.

Bruce sighs and leaves the table to clean up Ace’s mess in the foyer.

“Well done,” Duke laughs. “The ancestors will be pleased.”

It's with Billy and danny or Shazam and phantom

Danny is the ghost king or the prince

Anyway phantom and Shazam are dating, they get married and the rock of eternity sends Shazam on a mission, he is missing for a few years so Billy and danny are no longer tlkids pretending to be adults but semi functioning adults pretending that they were adults the entire time. Their in their 20s.

Anyway Shazam comes back after fighting posiden and sees his palace aka the rock overrun with men trying to claim phantom. Phantom couldn't kick them out because of xema, so he had to endure. Any way hold them down happens and Shazam is pissed and walks around, grabs his bow detransforms into Billy thr 20 yearold puts they bow over a fire, pulls it back into his hand, string it, and shoots through the axes into the ringleader's throat.

The massacre happens and he sees Danny again. They then go on to never explaining why he was missing for over a decade and why he is married to the ghost king to the JL whne they leave the rock

Billy is staying in the infinite realms after they got married. Someone tried to take over and steal Danny's crown so they naturally go to war Danny leaves and tells him that he will be back. Danny doesn't because of cult shenanigans and comes back as a very bloody viking and just kills all of the people trying to steal the champion of magic just because he has no say in the realms because he isn't dead.
