“So you find yourself surrounded by death and horror in the world, and you escape it into lust. But lust has no duration; it leaves you again in the desert.” Hermann Hesse

Hi brain, you obstinate fucker. I drank the clear splashy stuff. I ate the green things. I went under that bright fucker up there. I did the thing with the moving and sweating and whatnot. Now make the happy chemical, you lump of fuck.
There is literally nothing in nature that blooms all year long, so do not expect yourself to do so.
“be stubborn about your goals but flexible about your methods.” the best advice I’ve ever received.

If you are working on something exciting that you really care about, you don’t have to be pushed. The vision pulls you.

So true
Sometimes you have to push someone before they open up
Very Cool!
There will be moments in life that challenge you to simply make it through the day. It is important that in these moments you take a step back and remind yourself of life’s bigger picture. Will it even matter in a years time? or 10, when you could be on a completely different path. If things aren’t going for you right now, reassure yourself that in time it will all fall into place. You have a whole life ahead of you, full of new moments to create. For now enjoy the little things that bring you happiness, as they will help you make it through the day.

We humans have lost the wisdom of genuinely resting and relaxing. We worry too much. We don’t allow our bodies to heal, and we don’t allow our minds and hearts to heal. Meditation can help us embrace our worries, our fear, our anger; and that is very healing. We let our own natural capacity of healing do the work.

No work or love will flourish out of guilt, fear, or hollowness of heart, just as no valid plans for the future can be made by those who have no capacity for living now.

Intelligence is dangerous. Intelligence means you will start thinking on your own; you will start looking around on your own. You will not believe in the scriptures; you will believe only in your own experience.

Karma is the momentum of consciousness. It is not about good and bad actions and how things supposedly even out. There is no objective moral system of the universe. Karma is about the way our actions shape our consciousness and our consciousness shapes our actions. Karma also works in varying time frames, ranging from habits potentially inherited from previous incarnations to reactive imprints we took on while arguing with someone today. Bad karma, meaning bad consciousness, creates suffering in the world. Good karma creates relief. Spiritual practice clears away all karma and returns you to something that might be called primordial naturalness. Also, I just have to say it, the dog in the picture is a very good boy. @the_lazy_yogi on instagram
