i like the flavor of harry where he adopts some of the dursley's bad habits... i've always really liked how book harry is depicted because he's so painfully human whether it was intentional or not. but there was a moment in DH that makes me think alot
There was a sudden, deafening roar from somewhere nearby.
Harry straightened up with a jerk and smacked the top of his head on the low door frame. Pausing only to employ a few of Uncle Vernonโs choicest swear words, he staggered back into the kitchen, clutching his head and staring out of the window into the back garden.
i like this idea alot, that harry doesn't like the dursleys, and doesn't think they're good at all, but still can't help siphoning some of the traits they have. how can he not? he grew up with no one but them for years, alot of abused kids subconsciously adopts some of their abusers traits/habits. it doesn't make them an abuser, it's just another unregulated thing that needs to be conscious of because it was so normal for them
my harry is also a very angry kid too...so much anger in this boy

Realized Hermione would not know about the troll because she was in the bathroom in PS
Keen enough eye to spot the winged key
Noticed Dobbyโs eyes in the bush in CoS
Recognized that Lockhart was a fraud right off the bat at age 12 (Ron did too but Hermione, Miss Brightest Witch of Her Age, was distracted by the pretty and lots of other adults were fooled too)
Deduced that the girl who died in Tom Riddleโs memory was Myrtle
Recognized how tense/anxious Ginny looked and realized she knew something about the Chamber
Noticed the paper in Hermioneโs hand when she was petrified
Recognized how weird it was that Fudge was being lenient on blowing up Aunt Marge and later connected it with them worrying about him and Sirius in PoA
Realized (before Hermione) that Dumbledore wanted them to save Buckbeak as well during their time turner shenanigans
Deduced that every champion besides Cedric would know about the dragons in GoF
Noticed Ronโs jealousy of Krum
Caught a reflection of light on the glass case of the Sword of Gryffindor and found the Pensieve
Connected the dots and realized the Pensieve showed memories because of his experience with Tom Riddleโs diary
Noticed that Dumbledore had been avoiding him in OotP
Picked up on Dracoโs โdogging aroundโ comment
Noticed that Daily Prophet article about Sturgis Podmore breaking into a secret in the Ministry and recalls that Podmore hadnโt shown up for guard duty
Recognized the difference between his actual dreams and the โvisionsโ which helped save Arthur Weasleyโs life
Heard Kingsley whisper, felt something shoot past him, saw the blank expression in Mariettaโs eyes and put two and two together, something Umbridge, Fudge and Dawlish couldnโt perceive
Noticed Draco giving his mother the slip in HBP
Deduced that Draco had become a Death Eater
Recognized that the ring on Dumbledoreโs desk (and remembered Dumbledore was wearing this ring when they retrieved Slughorn) was the ring Marvolo showed Ogden
Realized that Tonksโ brief was probably heartbreak and figured out she was in love (even though he didnโt have enough context to realize it was Remus and not Sirius)
Noticed when Ginny didnโt seem enthusiastic about meeting up with Dean (this is very common when you have a crush, but still)
Noted how weird Slughornโs tampered memory is with the dense fog
Noticed that Malfoy kept disappearing from the Marauderโs Map and eventually realized he was using the Room of Requirement
Put two and two together about Ron and the love potion
Caught Voldemortโs eyes flashing scarlet in Hokeyโs memory
Deduced that Malfoyโs plan was coming into fruition based on the whooping and gave Hermione and Ron a warning plan before he and Dumbledore left
Noticed the blue eye in the mirror shard in DH
Realized Regulus was RAB
Perceptive enough to realize Ron had to be the one to destroy the locket
Also perceptive enough to realize he had to open it with Parseltongue
Recognized that his Invisibility Cloak matched the description of the cloak in the Deathly Hallows story
Noticed things about Lunaโs room that made him realize Luna hadnโt been in her home in weeks, catching Xenophilius Lovegoodโs lie
Connected the dots of The Grey Ladyโs story from the โAlbaniaโ clue and realized Voldemort had found the diadem and had hidden it at Hogwarts when he tried to get the DADA job
Remembered he had seen the diadem in the Room of Requirement before
Realized that Draco had become the true master of the Elder Wand, not Snape, the night Dumbledore had died
Realized that this made him the true master of the Elder Wand after his skirmish with Draco at Malfoy Manor
There are probably other things I didnโt catch, but there you have it. Harry James Potter is a rather perceptive boy with a keen eye and a good mind for deductive reasoning
also, (because that appears to be the #1 example of harry oblivious potter)

Do you think Harry would swear or has sworn? Such a niche question, but trying to realistic write him swearing is such a mixed basket. On the one hand, I don't really picture him doing it, even under extreme distress. But I can also imagine him letting out a light swear if he's having a bad day and has a minor inconvenience
I 100% believe Harry swears. This post ended up being a little longer since I kinda went off and detailed how a bunch of characters in HP swear, not just Harry.
Sometimes, characters are shown to "swear" on page:
โBlimey,โ saidย Ronย weakly. (CoS)
โBlimey, it is!โ saidย Ronย quietly (OotP)
โWhat in the name ofย Merlinย are you doing?โ saidย Ron (OotP)
โWhy theย hell,โ pantedย Ron (DH)
โIโll join you whenย hellย freezes over,โ saidย Neville.ย (DH)
โMerlinโsย beard,โ Moody [Barty] whispered (GoF)
โMerlinโsย beard,โ said Mr. Weasley wonderingly (OotP)
โHarry, what theย hellโs going on?โ asked Bill (DH)
โBlastedย thing,โ Snape was saying. (PS)
("Blimey" and "blasted" are here since they were considered mild swear words when they became part of the language like "gosh" and "darn". "Merlin's beard" is kinda like saying "Jesus Christ" which was also considered a mild swear, even if no one really considers most of the above swears by today's standards).
The above is done when the swears are (very) light and something that you could print in a children's book. But sometimes, characters swearing is censored in the books:
Deanย sworeย loudly. (CoS)
Thankfully, Snape sneezed at almost exactly the moment Ron swore. (CoS)
Ron dropped several boxes,ย swore, and made a rude hand gesture at Fred that was unfortunately spotted by Mrs. Weasley, who had chosen that moment to appear. (HBP)
and Leeย sworeย so badly that Professor McGonagall tried to tug the magical megaphone away from him (PoA)
The lift clattered into view and they hurried inside. Every time it stopped Mr. Weasley cursedย furiously and pummelled the number nine button. (OotP)
When that happens, I assume the swears are ones JKR couldn't get away with in a children's/YA book series. Like: "fuck" or "shit".
(Molly calling Bellatrix "bitch" is the only harsher swear word not censored in the books)
When Harry swears, it's sometimes not censored:
โShe doesnโt love me,โ saidย Harryย at once. โShe doesnโt give a damn โ โ (OotP)
โAnd he didnโt think my mother was worth aย damnย either,โ said Harry (HBP)
โWhy not?โ askedย Harry. โLetโs get rid of theย damnย thing, itโs been months โ โ (DH)
โWhere theย hellย have you been?โ Harry shouted. (DH)
But often enough, Harry's cursing is censored:
Harryย sworeย under his breath (OotP)
Harryย sworeย and turned away.ย (OotP)
Harryย sworeย at the top of his voice, spinning on the spot to see where Mundungus had gone. (HBP)
Harryย swore. Someone screamed. (HBP)
So, to me, this suggests Harry says "fuck" or British stuff like "sod off". He 100% does use harsher swears, and it's in character for him to do so. He swears under his breath when shit goes badly or he finds himself in a situation he really doesn't want to be in. He swears loudly when Mandungus escapes him, so when he's really angry, he can go and shout a proper F-bomb. Let Harry say "fuck", his life sucks and he deserves it.
Ron also swears sometimes harsher swears than "hell" or "bloody hell" but he does so more rarely than Harry and when things are really bad. Usually, he goes for lighter stuff like: "Merlin", "hell", or "blimey".
Hermione doesn't swear except for the "Merlin's pants" comment in DH which was clearly meant to be "Merlin's balls" but JKR got censored by her editors and one time she says "damn" in DH. Hermione doesn't even use light swears like "Merlin", "damn" or "hell". She, just, doesn't swear until DH, and even then only twice. Like, her most extreme for the majority of the books is going: "oh my", "oh my god", or "oh my goodness". Hermione is the only member in the Golden Trio that doesn't swear:
โOh,ย myย โ โย Hermioneย grabbed Harryโs arm. (PoA)
โOhย myย goodness,โ saidย Hermioneย suddenly (PoA)
โOhย gosh, I forgot!โ said Hermione (OotP)
โOhย myย ...โ Harry heardย Hermioneย squeal, terrified, beside him. (OotP)
โToday?โ shriekedย Hermione. โToday? But why didnโt you โ oh my God โ you should have said โ โ (HBP)
โOhย myย โ !โ shriekedย Hermione, as she and Ron caught up with Harry (DH)
I went a bit off track, but theses are some characters and how they swear that I found while searching this:
Harry, Dean & Lee: swear in profanities that need to be censored ("fuck", "shit", "sodding hell") often and sprinkle lighter swears ("hell", "damn") in there. Harry uses "damn" relatively often.
Ron, the twins, Bill & Arthur: use mostly light swears ("hell", "bloody", "blasted") but use some harsher swears ("fuck", "shit") when needed (and Molly isn't looking).
(I assume Ginny is in this above category too, but I only found her saying "damn" once)
Neville, Dumbledore, Hagrid & Snape (at least, when we see him): use only light swears such as "hell", "blasted" or "Merlin" and its derivatives.
Molly: Doesn't really swear except that one time (calling Bellatrix a bitch).
Hermione & Luna: never use profanities unless really at their limit. Don't even use light swears or "Merlin" and its derivatives. Hermione says: "oh my god" or "oh my goodness", Luna says: "oh, no".
Lupin doesn't swear anywhere on-page either.
Surprisingly I couldn't find any mention of Sirius swearing, not even light stuff (like "Merlin's beard"). I guess he really was raised to have proper manners. Or maybe he's actively censoring himself in front of Harry to be a good rule model.

This is brilliant acting right here. You can see the EXACT moment he sees Harry and realizes that he has his motherโs eyes. You can see what Snape was thinking; the moment he sees Harry, he probably just thought that he was going to be arrogant, immature, and exactly like how James Potter used to be.
But then Harry turns his face and looks at him. They make eye contact, and the realization hits him like a ton of bricks. He has Lilyโs eyes.
And letโs not forget this was the first movie. Bravo Alan Rickman.
"I wish we could have met another way" "This is the only way we could have met" are such raw lines that go so fucking hard you'd think they're from some heartbreaking forbidden romance drama but no, it's Death Note (2015)
