The Walking Dead

Who is the Walking Dead?

The Walking Dead is a TV horror drama developed by Fran Darabont. The original series came for a comic book series of the same name. It started in Oct 31, 2010, on the cable channel AMC in the USA and right now it is is in its fourth season.

It is simply the best in it own genre. The Walking Dead is original, has its own brand and perfectly differentiate from other genres in TV. There is no other TV drama that could capture 16.1 million viewers for its fourth season premiere to become the most watched drama series telecast in basic cable history.

What Does The Walking Dead do?  The Walking Dead entertains people by presenting a TV show in which two kind of human beings are in constant battle and their skills, either in one side or the other, are really important to make the human race survive: The dead and alive. Who is going to win? On one hand, the vast majority of dead people whose purpose is to eat and transform humans into walking dead. On the other hand, the humans alive will need to use their thinking skills to survive the dead crowd with no loss. A battle between intelligence in alive people vs majority in dead people… who is going to win?

Why Does it matter?  AMC’s passion is the entertainment business and this company realizes that being in the top is to create a TV show with wonderful settings and plots where the story gets our attention. This is the reason AMC initially invested 3.5 million per episode to add extras, special effects and filming outdoors which is more expressive than in a indoor studio.

The Walking Dead matters because is a unique TV story. It is interesting by selecting a theme never brought to the TV sets. It is also thrilling when the walking dead or the crowd move with all those special effects and amazing make up to get a human alive.

It matters because at the end, the only purpose of every creation and product is to get the attention of public to get our mission accomplished.

To wait for something seems to be an integral part of the universe and the way it works. It takes 13 nights for the moon to turn full. It took 40 nights for Moses to receive the Torah. It takes 9 long months for a human embryo to evolve & finally take birth into this world. Teach your soul to wait, when there's nothing else to be done. To wait patiently with all the beauty in tact, certain of the promise that when the time finally arrives, the king himself will send for you, just like Joseph, after waiting for several years imprisoned...

“In Mechanical Arts, The Craftsman Uses His Skill To Produce Something Useful, But His Sole Merit Lies

“In mechanical arts, the craftsman uses his skill to produce something useful, but his sole merit lies in skill. In the fine arts the student uses skill to produce something beautiful. He is free to choose what that something shall be, and the layman claims that he may and must judge the artist chiefly by the value in beauty of the thing done. Artistic skill contributes to beauty, or it would not be skill; but beauty is the result of many elements, and the nobler the art the lower is the rank which skill takes among them.“

– Attributed to Fleeming Jenkin, in John Munro’s Heroes of the Telegraph.

Professor Henry Charles Fleeming Jenkin represents both the craftsman and the artist of the early nineteenth century. This renaissance man of Edinburgh was born on 25 March 1833. His prolific career as an electrical engineer and professor glitters with a variety of accomplishments. He is known as the engineer of the telpher, or aerial tramway. In addition to engineering, he crossed over into the business and academic work; his writing topics extended into over 35 British patents, and over 40 published papers.

Fleeming Jenkin won medals during his professional career from the Royal Society of Edinburgh for his graphical method to calculate strains in bridges; yet he also drew portraits, wrote about artistry, and contributed to commentary on popular literature in his time.

Electricity and magnetism formed one of Fleeming Jenkin’s major passions; he participated in the Institution of Civil Engineers, the Institute of Mechanical Engineers, and determined a convenient unit and standard of electrical resistance with a committee.

It is a beautiful sensation To wake up in the morning With the sound of a beautiful lady That turns your life into joy. It is that sound, That melody in her voice, That brings you peace and love And color the world by being her alive. With an outstanding performance of that beautiful moment, Eddie Brickell sings "Good Times" You don't even have to try It comes easy for you The way you move is so appealing It could make me cry Go out driving with my friends In Bobby's big old beat up car I'm with a lot of people then I wonder where you are Good times, bad times, give me some of that Good times, bad times, give me some of that Good times, bad times, give me some of that I don't want to say goodbye Don't want to walk you to the door I spend a little time with you I want a little more Good times, bad times, give me some of that Good times, bad times, give me some of that Good times, bad times, give me some of that

La Pregunta Existencial

-      Que usted piensa… Existo o no existo?

-      Por que la pregunta?

-      BUENO, SI PIENSO, LUEGO EXISTO, VERDAD?

-      No entiendo!

Me sigue?

-      Correcto!

Tu no entiendes!
