Olive knows a lot of spells, but she's still a novice wizard. She still needs to read her spellbook to remember how to cast a majority of them.
Practice makes perfect tho!📚🐁
Never forget the children of Iraq. Never forget the children of Syria. Never forget the children of Yemen. Never forget the children of Libya.
And never forget the children of Palestine, gone far too soon with each second the US not only remains complicit in their ongoing genocide, but actively funds it.
Never forget.
Meet Kiwi, the smallest bee in her hive with a broken stinger. But, that doesn't stop Kiwi from gathering pollen for her hive, or collecting the best flowers to make a bouquet for her Queen Bee! Now...just...to get...outta this...bubble!
Kiwi is the main character for my debut indie mini-game*, Bubble Bumble. I’m creating my art in Aseprite, a pixel art and animation program, and it’s been a wild learning curve.
*and I mean mini! This will be my first time designing and programming a game, so it will be basically a demo level.

Just because an artist likes Harry Potter doesn't mean they support JK Rowling??? Its not their fault you can't separate the art from the artist.
because it's still giving the piece of media a platform. even if you pirate it. even if you disagree with it. I genuinely don't see any good, positive reason that can come from continuing to indulge and participate in the fandom publicly. Like, fine, whatever, if you're gonna read it in the privacy of your own home with nuance and critical thinking, I can't stop you. But posting about it online and engaging with it isn't helpful. It's just giving it more attention. Literally just read another book. I understand nostalgia and childhood hyperfixations and whatnot. But I have such little sympathy for the people that cling so so desperately to the problematic wizard books. There are other things out there! Just find something else!!!
You know what movie I really loved as a kid?? The Don Bluth Thumbelina movie. I rented it from blockbuster week after week after week. I love clowns, and I love frogs, so the fact that there's a frog character dressed as a clown would be totally up my alley, right? Well!!! He's a pretty racist caricature actually!! And the thing is, it's actually really really easy for me, even with my love of clowns and frogs, to actively avoid speaking positively about this character. There will be other frog clowns that aren't racist. I got over it. It's not that hard.

I forgot the password for this account, so I was posting via my personal art account 😅
Again, not logging into my game dev tumblr (@bloomzeye) for reasons, but my first indie game, Bubble Bumble, is almost ready to play! Here's the itch io page for it: https://bloomzeye.itch.io/bubble-bumble
Ahhhhh! I have basically zero followers on this page, but I don't care! I've made a video game, something I never thought I could even do, and I'm happy about it!
