When are you going to post updates on your ao3
I am unsure, I have little motivation & time to work on any writing due to medical issues and a new job. I will do what I can when I have the energy and creativity once more. I do not want to write something terrible and lacking. I apologize, I truly wish to continue and make at least something. However, my priorities at the moment lay with my physical health first.
Thingy I drew for Chapter 33 of When the Mask Falls.
I really need to look into drawing on something that isn’t my phone.
I LOVE THE LATEST CHAPTER, IT'S SO SWEET KUDOS TO YOU DEAR AUTHOR <3
THANK YOU! I’m so glad you enjoyed it! That chapter was both a lot of fun and pretty difficult to write, so I’m super glad you like it!
YES!
Somemore fanart for When the Mask Falls, Chapter 20.
I wasn't sure what exactly the Destined One was wearing at the time as I either missed the description somehow or it wasn't mentioned, and ended up going with the Fortunes Favour armor set(though simplified) but also added the cape Sun Wukong wears in Monkey Kid, it just seemed like it fit together nicely!
@blueberryf1re
Finally got around to drawing what I’ve been seeing in my head while writing When the Mask Falls. Ignore the clothes, I just don’t have the patience for details…at all. This was drawn on my phone, so I’m sorry it isn’t that good.
This is amazing! I’m so glad you enjoyed my story enough to wish to make this!
I drew some fanart of @blueberryf1re 's When the Mask Falls on Ao3, the chapter was far to cute for me to not draw a scene from it :))
He's probably not this small, but it's what I imagined
I probably should have done this earlier, but I have planned the next four chapters of When the Mask Falls out more thoroughly, so that should hopefully help me write them better.
I will be working on artwork for the story, that I will post here! Don’t expect any for a while though…
I have a few ideas on what his nickname should be, as in what a lot of characters will call him most of the time once the nickname is actually set in stone within the story. However, I am also terrible with names! Including nicknames. Also, if anyone has any other nickname ideas, that would be greatly appreciated.
Depending on how this goes(probably after a few days), I may make another one with new nickname ideas.
So I was doing a JTTW Pokemon challenge…
I gave my Infernape(Wukong) Metronome, I have never had a move give me inspiration draw until now.
Here’s a snippet of a future chapter! Macaque has no idea who he’s messing with, but it isn’t the king he once knew.
—
Wukong interrupts the other by lifting his staff and slamming into the ground, the force causing a shockwave that made the stone around them tremble. “Do not make me fight you, Six Eared Macaque.” Wukong orders, piercing him with an unwavering gaze. His eyes were giving off a light glow, revealing to all that Wukong is seething with rage; rage the king has no issue using to fuel his strength. Everything about Macaque and Sun Wukong is complicated, if the other refuses back down, Wukong will fight. Unfortunately, He cannot promise to be as merciful as his predecessor, not with MK’s life on the line.
Hello! This is a poll for if anyone wants a snippet of one of the future chapters for When the Mask Falls. A story I’m writing on Ao3 that’s a crossover between Black Myth: Wukong & Lego Monkie Kid. You can find a link to it pinned on my page.
Anyway! Said snippet of the chapter would be for when Macaque enters the picture.

Again, there are more chapters to come! I’m sorry for my writing, it isn’t that great.
Thank you again @jedineedlove
Your idea for this crossover has been very fun to write!
Chapter 5 is halfway done! Hopefully I’ll be able to finish it today and post it! It will be my first work ever posted on Ao3. Each chapter has been about 2k words in length so far.
In regards to the story I’m writing inspired by the idea from @jedineedlove
This will be where I post for when I finish chapters. I will start posting the chapters on Ao3 once I’ve completed 5 main chapters I am confident in.
Summary: a crossover between Black Myth: Wukong & Lego Monkie Kid. However, the Sun Wukong in LMK is actually The Destined One from the game posing as Sun Wukong. He hides his true personality as to meet the expectations of others and be able to atone for the mistakes the Monkey King made in the past and still linger today. Though, that doesn’t mean he’s able to keep the mask up all the time.
I have completed the prologue! Yes, I write prologues before the first chapter, so technically 6 chapters! I typically get faster as I write because the idea forms more clearly in my head how things will go specifically. Even though I already made an outline.
Here’s a snippet of what the chapter holds
“Idiot! Move!” Bajie yells, and he’s already jumping away. The stone suddenly bursts with an explosion of light, he had to shield his eyes from it as it was like the sun was suddenly before them. Once the light faded, all that’s left are pieces of the stone all around the clearing they stood on, each piece a size ranging from a ripe peach to Uncle Bajie. Speaking of Bajie, he’s by the monkey’s side in a blink and is looking over him, he seems to be searching for something specific. Bajie sighs in relief soon after, and he can only assume what it could be.
—
The prologue is the only chapter set in the time of Black Myth: Wukong, so the only time we see Zhu Bajie. Every chapter after is set within the time of LMK.
Chapter 4 is finished! One more before it’s posted publicly. Remember, five(technically six) chapters isn’t how long it is, they are just the first handful of chapters, there will still be more afterwards!

Chapter 3 is done! Turns out that I’m changing a lot more than I anticipated, but the main points will still happen! Don’t worry.

Chapter 2 is complete! It had me stumped for a while on how things should go. I definitely will be changing a few things that happen in the show, hopefully just a little bit, otherwise things wouldn’t make much sense…at all.

I’m working on chapter 2, and I’m about halfway done, but I keep thinking about stuff I forgot to write for chapter 1! I keep going back and adding what I forgot, but at this rate, the chapter will be unnecessary long.

So I just finished chapter 1, that was fast.

I am finding myself with a tough decision, I am writing a story inspired by a fascinating idea from @jedineedlove
In summary: it’s a crossover between Black Myth: Wukong and Lego Monkie Kid. However, the Sun Wukong in LMK is actually The Destined One from the game, but is posing as Sun Wukong due to a feeling of obligation from all the mistakes the king has made, and more.
Anyway, what I’m struggling with is the physical differences between the two monkeys. I’m someone who has been reading the books long before the game came out(because of LMK), watched LMK, and has played Black Myth: Wukong. There are a few differences between the three. I’ve decided to go with a mash from all three, but I’m stuck on fur color for The Destined One.
I hadn’t meant to have the poll last a week, my bad!
I know I want Sun Wukong’s to be the same as it is in LMK, but I also want The Destined One’s to be different. Sure, he’ll hide it with glamours later anyway, but still. I am thinking either a less saturated amber orange(closer to LMK) or silver in a sense(closer to the game). I love both honestly and I’m struggling. So if anyone wants to put in their opinion on whichever they like, or even a new idea, that would be wonderful!
SPOILERS: BLACK MYTH WUKONG WATCH OR PLAY BEFORE READING!!!!!
On AO3 I have seen a crossover, It's pretty good.
But I had another idea. What if the Wukong of LMK is a Chosen One, that has absorbed the six senses of the previous Sun Wukong. Maybe that is why he acts so young because he is actually young. The thought of the Crew and especially Macaque finding out the Wukong they have come to know now is someone else that holds the memories. Maybe this Choicen One has dedicated so much to filling in the lost spot of the old Sun Wukong while also trying to not make the same mistakes as The Old Wukong did that he acts like "he" never left like he is simply atoning for the past deeds. Maybe the memories he gained from the old Wukong consumed him so that he felt he must atone for the past sins. So much so he cries and feels anger for what the previous Sun Wukong did, so much so that he never corrects them on the fact he is not the same Wukong. Taking on the old Monkey King's name he feels the sense of responsibility to take on all the title initials like the expectation of the goofy jokester, the responsible mentor that the mortals and demons expect of him. Maybe he also hides the fact that he is not the Wukong they know because it will show weakness to hid that existence of the Sages Relics that can give great power to those who hold it. Of course, not all the enemies of Black Myth Wukong will be playing the role like they did in the game due to the show The Bull family won't have their fight and Bull will not have been holding one of the relics.
To be honest you can play with the hows and whys but the thought can really be taken anywhere you want. I have no intent on making a fic of this i already am busy with my own but if anyone wants to take a crack it be my guest. ;)
So...I’m in an Origins modded Minecraft Server, and I’m an Inchling. I like to fish, but whenever I get one, it flies over my head and is huge.
Me and my friends played Minecraft with the Origins Mod, I was an Inchling while the others were a slime and a Phantom. Also, yes, my skin is Snufkin.
A very small animatic of me and my brother from when we played a puzzle map on VR.
