Salt And Pepper Diner….

Salt and pepper diner….

I had to make this, I have always wanted to and now I have. I’m going places! Not college but PLACES!🙌✨

I was nostalgic and looked up the salt and pepper diner animatics. I’m surprised this wasn’t done sooner! Like Tom Jones canonically exists in the TF2 universe, not to mention this is 100% some shit Scout would do especially if it means it will piss of Spy.

Also….Just realised the crop in the corner from when I was cropping the frames I made, let’s pretend it’s not there because I don’t feel like editing this again😭😭😭

Hi Theamaus! I met you yesterday, and I practically devoured your blog, I LOVED your art, I would like to ask, what are your Headcanons for snapshots/bushpine?

Hi and welcome to the blog!

I've made a post before with snapshot headcannons HERE but if you've already gone through all of it i'm guessing youve aldready seen it.

Haven't thought about it much lately (my minds been all blu team) but heres a few more for ya!

More bronisniper/snapshots headcannons:

Out of all Bronislavas family (aside from Heavy and Bronislava herself) Sniper gets along with Yana the best although her mother is a strong second, even if she thinks he's too skinny and could never kill a bear

Suddenly being part of a big family is kind of overwelming for him in the beginning, but it brings him closer with Medic who is also new to the Big Happy Family dynamic

Bronislava has lived alone with her mother and sisters for so many years shes forgotten what it is to live with a man

Sniper has lived alone or with a goup of men for so long he has no idea what its like to live with a woman

It's a learning experience for both

Bronislava cuts Snipers hair when it gets too long. Sniper loves it when she toutches his hair, so he often allows her to braid it

Sniper gradually comes to love russian food and prefers it over anything else. Because of this he begins to gain some much needed weight

They shower together. Bronislava is used to either having to bathe one right after the other or together to save hot water and Sniper likes the closeness

Bronislava has periods with night terrors from her time in the Gulag. She doesn't really remember it, but boy does her subcontious. Sniper doesn't know what to do, but after some advice from Medic (Heavy has them too) they learn how to deal with it together

Hope you like it, and that you stick around :)

CONSPIRACY.

CONSPIRACY.

After the long journey. Crimson and the rest of the colony had to make their way to find some kind of shelter for the night. Thankfully for them, they came across one of the underwater caves that formed within the ocean floors. It was a nice change of pace to see some other colors other than blue all day from walking throughout the ocean. Many of the other decapods had already begun getting ready to rest up for the night, as they would need all the energy they needed to start the long walk to the new island again. After all, the migration was still in effect. For all they knew, they still had a long way to go.

Crimson was keeping watch over the many others she had promised to keep safe. Ever since she was assigned the leader for the migration, she's always had the deep sense of dread. The dread of one day failing them. Making her feel as if one misstep could mean the end of their entire race. She had all of this responsibility...for what? Why is all of this on her? She knew that she was selected for...SOME reason, but she couldn't get it...

God. This was too much. All of this. They nearly avoided an encounter with one of those floating shadows up on the surface. For all they knew, the next step could be their last. There might not be an island by the time they make it. It'll be too late. We don't know. Do you? Do you?! Do you know what to do?! For the love of God, tell me! I need to know! I can't let them down! They're depending on me! All of them are! WHY ISN'T ANYONE SAYING ANYTHIN-

"Crimson?"

A soft voice rang out in the swirling mind of Crimson as she was snapped out of her whirlpool of thoughts. Blinking a couple of times, she then looked over to her side, seeing one of her close comrades. The Strawberry Crab of the group. Her eyes being almost always closed, and although not many have seen them...Crimson could tell there was worry in them.

"Oh...Fraise...I."

Crimson stuttered, trying to cover up her worry with words. But Fraise just raised her claw. telling Crimson to just save it. Crimson slightly winced, knowing that she'd been caught being silent in her own thoughts of panic.

"...Dear. Are you alright?"

She asked, tilting her head to the side as she sat down, tucking in her four legs inward like some sort of bird. Crimson looked off into the distance, not wanting to make eye contact with the concerned caretaker. For all she knew...Fraise just saw Crimson gripping her knees.

"Yeah. I just...I'm just thinking. We nearly had an encounter...didn't we?"

Crimson cringed, upset that they nearly got killed. And on the third day of the travel, no less. Fraise noticed this...trying to hide her face even more underneath her balaclava. Crimson's two whiskers slightly twitching. Fraise then let out a sigh as she then began to take off the basket she was carrying. putting it up to her chest.

"...The little ones are doing well."

Fraise commented as she looked down, seeing the many crab eggs she carried. Some had already grown eyes, but some were still in the stage of trying to gain a consciousness. Crimson looked down at them, thinking back at her own childhood memories. When she was just an egg, she felt her mother holding onto her soft, jello-like body. The first feeling of the sunlight slightly seeping from the ocean surface. She then looked back up at Fraise, who was cradling the basket.

"...That's good. I'm glad to hear that."

She simply replied. She couldn't imagine the burden Fraise had. The responsibility to carry all of these children. She was holding the new generation right in a little basket. Crimson then began to feel a bit ridiculous. She thought she had the biggest responsibility...but really digesting this...she felt as if she was pushed down a step. Crimson then thought to herself...as she then rubbed the back of her neck.

"...So...this is, uh...a weird question to ask, but...are any of these...yours?"

Crimson asked, tilting her head a bit. She didn't know why she wanted to ask that. Sure, crabs had the tendency to lay a bunch of eggs, but some didn't make it. Before Crimson could apologize for asking such a question, she was interrupted.

"No."

Fraise nonchalantly replied as she continued to cradle the basket of eggs. Crimson nearly choked on her words. She didn't expect that. She would at least think one of them was at least one of her children. Hesitant, she decided to keep quiet, but Fraise continued.

"Many of the parents of these little ones sadly got taken. So I took up the responsibility of taking care of them. Some are with us, some aren't. So. I wish to take them to the new land, where they can live happily..."

Fraise praised, as she looked down at them, some squeaking a little bit.

Crimson then looked down with her. Shocked. All of this...all of these little ones. Some didn't have parents? She nearly had a bit of vomit coming up at the thought of any of those disgusting land creatures taking them away. And yet...she felt an odd sense of comfort, knowing that she was the one who would take these same small ones to safety.

"...So...you're like their mother in a way, huh?"

Fraise was a bit surprised at the comment but laughed a little. She then let out a sigh as she then looked back down at the basket.

"Well...I am for one of them."

Crimson's eyebrows raised. So she DID have a child? Only one? Crimson then looked over into the basket. looking over the thousands of eggs.

"Wait, really? Which one?"

She asked curiously. Fraise simply chuckled as she pointed to the near corner of the basket. As Crimson followed the claw's direction, she saw an egg. But this one was much more different. It was much smaller than the rest and had a slight hue of... pink? Most of the eggs were baby blue and apple red. Blinking a couple of times...she found comfort in seeing such a small life. One that would be born in a new, safer place, away from all of the chaos.

"She's a girl."

Fraise answered; it was as if she could read Crimson's mind. Crimson looked down and asked...

"...Did you name her?"

Fraise simply smiled and replied...

"Yes..."

"I'm thinking of..."

"Kandy."

After The Long Journey. Crimson And The Rest Of The Colony Had To Make Their Way To Find Some Kind Of
1 month ago

So in typical Blu fashion I've gotten into a bit of a spat with somebody on Twitter about the Pope's death and what the Bible says about hell and eternal damnation and all that shit, and I started thinking about the hypocrisy of conservative Christians, so here's some arguments for you to spice things up with your conservative Christian family who don't practise the Christlike qualities they preach. Signed a former Catholic boy who considered going to seminary school for a few years (hah! There's some info you didn't know about me).

This is all presented from a Catholic point of view. Some things (such as hell being empty) are dependent on Catholic dogma (namely the belief in Purgatory) and will not apply to other sects of Christianity who don't hold those beliefs (such as Protestantism). Wager your arguments carefully depending on the beliefs of the people you want to piss off.

As in accordance with the Bible, words spoken by Jesus himself will be in red.

Quoth a young nonbinary Catholic, "What's your opinion on church people, or priests, who promote hate and use the Bible to support hate speech? They read the Gospels like, 'I'm not excluding you, it's the Bible.' I'm tired of saying that wasn't Jesus' message."

Pope Francis replies, "These people are infiltrators." The youth laughs. He continues, "They are infiltrators who use the Church for their personal passions—for their personal narrowness. It's one of the corruptions within the Church. These narrow-minded ideologies… Deep within, these people are living with severe inconsistencies. They judge others because they cannot atone for their own faults. In general people who judge are inconsistent. There's something within them. They feel liberated by judging others, when they should look inside at their own guilt. But the day the Church loses its universality—the blind, the deaf, the good, the bad, everybody—it will stop being a Church. Everybody has a place."

...

While being interviewed on Italian telly program Che Tempo Che Fa by host Fabio Fazio, Pope Francis was asked how he "imagines hell". In response, Pope Francis said, "What I am going to say is not a dogma of faith but my own personal view: I like to think of hell as empty; I hope it is."

This immediately copped criticism from viewers and traditionalist Catholics, but it makes sense to me. Catholic dogma holds the belief that no one is beyond saving by God's grace, so therefore since Hell is for the damned, it would (by Francis' logic) be empty of human souls. "Bad" (sinful) people would go to Purgatory (or if you want to get Biblical, Limbo/Sheol) where they'd atone for their sins until they're ready to be saved by God's grace.

Isaiah 50:2 says, "When I came, why was there no one? When I called, why was there no one to answer? Was my arm too short to deliver you? Do I lack the strength to rescue you? By a mere rebuke I dry up the sea, I turn rivers into a desert; their fish rot for lack of water and die of thirst."

1 Timothy 1:15-16 says, "Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners—of whom I am the worst. But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his immense patience as an example for those who would believe in him and receive eternal life."

Both of these attest that no one is beyond saving the grace of God. 1 John 4:8 attests that "Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love," cementing in the Bible that God is a love-based being and I can't possibly imagine God writing off mortal souls eternally for not serving Him in this lifetime. It seems all the more likely to me that God would give human souls a time of repetence and, like a convert comes to faith, allow them the grace to come to Him in their own time.

...

NOW FOR SOME BIBLE QUOTES :D

MARK 12:28-31

One of the teachers of the law came and heard them debating. Noticing that Jesus had given them a good answer, he asked him, "Of all the commandments, which is the most important?"

"The most important one," answered Jesus, "is this: 'Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.' The second is this: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no commandment greater than these.”

MATTHEW 22:35-40

One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question: "Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?"

Jesus replied: "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."

MATTHEW 25:31-46

When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne. All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.

Then the King will say to those on his right, "Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me."

Then the righteous will answer him, "Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?"

The King will reply, "Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me."

Then he will say to those on his left, "Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me."

They also will answer, "Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?"

He will reply, "Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me."

Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.

JOHN 8

Jesus went to the Mount of Olives.

At dawn he appeared again in the temple courts, where all the people gathered around him, and he sat down to teach them. The teachers of the law and the Pharisees brought in a woman caught in adultery. They made her stand before the group and said to Jesus, "Teacher, this woman was caught in the act of adultery. In the Law, Moses commanded us to stone such women. Now what do you say?" They were using this question as a trap, in order to have a basis for accusing him.

But Jesus bent down and started to write on the ground with his finger. When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, "Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her." Again he stooped down and wrote on the ground.

At this, those who heard began to go away one at a time, the older ones first, until only Jesus was left, with the woman still standing there. Jesus straightened up and asked her, "Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?"

"No one, sir," she said.

"Then neither do I condemn you," Jesus declared. "Go now and leave your life of sin."

MATTHEW 5:1-11

Now when Jesus saw the crowds, he went up on a mountainside and sat down. His disciples came to him, and he began to teach them.

He said: "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled. Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God. Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you."

MATTHEW 6:14

"For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins."

MATTHEW 7:1-5

"Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

"Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye."

JOHN 15:9-13

"As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love. I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete. My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. "

1 CORINTHIANS 13:13

"Three things will last forever—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love."
