A short story featuring your Romanus and a character of your choice — must be SFW, and if it’s romantic in nature it has to be with the official ROs only.
You pick one snippet in the Patreon tag, and I’ll send you the whole story!
You pick one snippet from the Ko-fi tag, and I’ll send you the entire commission!
The first winner gets the first pick of the three prizes, the second winner chooses between the two left, and the third gets the last.

I hope this will be fun, I’ve never done anything like this. Thank you, again, for all the support, it only motivates me to work harder and pick up the pen even on days when it seems to weigh a ton.
I know I’ve been quiet regarding Book Two’s progress, but that’s only because I want to get to a specific part before I make any sort of announcements. But I hope you find comfort in knowing that I’m working on it almost every day — and the days I’m not, I’m thinking about it constantly. It won’t be very long before I invite you to step back into the world of the Rose.
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
And may you have an amazing Friday. 🌹
I almost feel bad asking, but as a reader, this is something I’ve forgotten to do on occasion, so I’m hoping this post reads as a reminder and not a demand.
But, if you enjoyed the Rose, it would really mean the world if you could leave a review. It doesn’t have to be an elaborate, flowery piece (although, of course, I would never deny one of those), I only ask that the words are true. That it is what you truly think.
Leaving a review is such an easy, free and quick way to support a creator or a piece of art that you believe holds any value. And it does feel disingenuous to be asking this of you, but my appreciation and gratitude would be far away from dishonest. ♡
SOMEONE WILL REMEMBER US, I SAY, EVEN IN ANOTHER TIME

Image 1: A screenshot of an space traveler from the game Outer Wilds. The caption reads: "The past is past, now, but that's... you know, that's okay! It's never really gone completely. The future is always built on the past, even if we won't get to see it."
Image 2: A screenshot of text reading: "These forces that often remake time and space, that can shape and alter who we imagine ourselves to be, begin long before we are born and continue after we perish. Our lives and our choices, like quantum trajectories, are understood moment to moment. That each point of intersection, each encounter, suggest a new potential direction."
Image 3: A screenshot of a journal page from the game What Remains of Edith Finch. It reads: "This is where your story begins. I'm sorry I won't be there to see it. It's a lot to ask, but I don't want you to be sad that I'm gone. I want you to be amazed that any of us ever had a chance to be here at all."
Image 4: A screenshot of two men standing next to a run-down building from the game Disco Elysium. A text box in the center reads: "'Glory,' says the graffito, 'to the ghosts of us!'"
Image 5: A screenshot of song lyrics reading: "But who's gonna notice we're gone? / When our job's done, as the evening winds / Down to a crawl, son, can I ease my mind / When we're all done? When we've resigned / In the long run, what do we leave behind?"
Image 6: A screenshot of text reading: "In their exploration, they stirred the people of the world to feel as one; in their sacrifice, they bind more tightly the brotherhood of man. Others will follow, and surely find their way home. Man's search will not be denied. But these men were first, and they will remain foremost in our hearts."
Image 7: Two screenshots of an alien creature from the game Outer Wilds. The captions read, "My kind weren't always like this. We weren't always so afraid. I did what I could to set things right, yet I am still of my kind, and you know now what they did. I cannot promise our fear won't stain your mind. And so, a choice: Are you certain you want to remember me?"
Image 7: A screenshot of text reading: "There will come a time when you believe everything is finished; that will be the beginning."
Image 8: A screenshot of text reading: "It means that we learn from the past in order to create a future. We are merely temporary characters in the huge story of life. Our loved ones teach us and set an example for us and we carry it forward as best we can."
The world went to shit long before you were born- what happened, nobody's sure. Whatever it was, it left a mess. The horrors of the blasted wasteland, the things that roam outside of city walls, the static that buzzes in your ear like an old TV... not to mention the violent fuckers out there who'd rather they have what you've got.
But a job with a caravan travelling across the wastes means you can finally start a new life in the neon-lit utopia of Signal Hill. That is, until you're ambushed outside the city, your cargo stolen and your guards dead. The bright lights and the ever-present hum of the radio are starting to feel like more of a nightmare than a dream...
Signal Hill is a post-apocalyptic narrative RPG/interactive fiction game set in the eponymous neon-lit utopia, Signal Hill. Players take on the role of a wanderer from the North, arriving in the city for the first time and become enthralled in its local intrigue. It also contains gratuitous violence and sexual themes, so the current demo is recommended for adults only.

i know i’ve made and broken several promises on when this is coming out, but i assure you, it’s real this time. it’s the biggest chapter i’ve ever written and one that i struggled through immensely, though one i am also very proud of. i sincerely hope you enjoy <3
I am back, and with something to say "welcome back" -- a Bestiary of Sinners and Saints, volume 1, now available for download right here (click!)
I am glad to have taken that break, I needed it. I still may not be as active, as I have two major exams coming up, and defense of my BA thesis, but I'll try to answer a few asks here and there, and give you all some content.
I've been working more on the chapters in this time I took away, and I'm happy to say that Chapter 2 for Sinners and Saints is going amazing so far (1/10 is done), and Chapter 1 for The Numbers Game is 1/3 done (both coding and writing).
So, stay safe, and enjoy! <3

Remember to report bugs to me via the bug form in the game or you can report them to me here on Tumblr.
She's here... and she's a big one. This is easily the biggest chapter I've ever written in terms of variety, and honestly most of it is thanks to the fight scene alone.
I would highly recommend playing through a few times with some different commanders (if you have more than one)! There are some big secrets to be found this chapter >:3
We're at the point where the plot is beginning to thicken up and a lot of interweaving stories are going to be introduced.
By code diving you'll spoil the game to yourself (obviously). And, obviously, the game is meant to be played through blind. While I can't control what you choose to look at or spoil for yourself, I do ask that you keep yourself from spoiling the story for others.
This means do not share "sensitive/spoilery" code with others and do not use the code for your public theories. Because at that point it's not really a theory-- it's just spoiling the game.
Thank you!
Avg. Play length: 90k -> 114k Total Wordcount: 530k -> 818k
Trigger Warnings - There are no new trigger warnings. However, Chapter 5 starts with an incredibly graphic and emotionally intense scene.
Note: You'll have to play from the beginning. Your save files may still be there, but there's a high chance they won't work with the new chapter. Start from the beginning. Save yourself the pain. 😔
(Send bugs to my tumblr inbox or report them in the discord #bug-report channel. Either one works! And yes, there will be a lot of them 🙃)
