Minimum wage worker Sukuna
Finally sukuna has admitted to himself that yuuji IS in fact interesting and a worthy opponent instead of lying to himself (and the audience) about how boring yuuji is. And he's not just doing that he's also putting him above gojo by calling him his "main dish". Yuuji spent the whole manga pulling off impressive feats and learning new skills in a short amount of time showing more resilience than any other character he deserves some praise
Yuuji forcing Sukuna to his knees is healing me. Sukuna taking a moment to be a petty dick about it is also healing me.
I still maintain that getting violently fucked by Yuuji in that inmate domain would have fixed Sukuna—or at least kept him from *gestures* all this.
Nah, I told ya, he in love with him

Angel AU by SarBanChok (on twitter/x)! Red wings are a sign that the angel was expelled from heaven. For the reason of brutal murders.... So it's better not to have ones, Yuji
Interpretations of all the Death Painting Wombs in fetus form based on what little we've seen from the anime + Death Painting Yuji :)
In this AU Yuji would take on a more humanoid appearance even as a fetus. Since he would have been produced from a bit of Sukuna's DNA plus Jin Itadori's (who I hc as being a descendant of Heian Era Sukuna's brother) while he is in fetal form he would have more of Heian Sukuna's features. Those would fade or fall off as he ages, and rather than incarnating like his brothers he would grow like a normal human. This could be rapid growth or gradual, I haven't decided yet. I want the cast to interact w/ Yuji in his little ugly baby form so I'm leaning towards rapid aging.
For how he'd look when he's more grown up, I think that he would be able to pass as a human. If he eats Sukuna's fingers in this AU it would activate the dormant transformation process and he would start to look more like Heian Sukuna. That way Yuji would be forced to look less and less human with every finger he ingests in exchange for power.
he took his pinkie in the divorce </3
is he smiling at yuji um 🥺🥺🥺

red mages are called that because they derive their power from the immortal science of marxist-leninism, and are strictly speaking a kind of cleric, but traditionally not classified as such due to the USSR’s policy of state atheism
sorry your kid wouldnt stop naming pokemon in order so we had to flatten em into a sheet of lasagna
i'm listening to the audiobook of city of last chances and first of all. i adore it. second of all, my favourite part of it so far has been everyone else in the city dealing with political dissent, gang rivalries, false imprisonment, general consequences of being under occupied rule, and then ruslav, who's biggest concern right now is that he might be a having a bit of a fag moment.
city of last chances anon come back .... i need to scream about yasnic building a shrine to all the lost gods of ilmar
#city of last chances
Hi it’s the lost city anon yes omg the GODS. GOD. Honestly set a standard for me for how worshippers and gods could interact. I think the whole city is just soo alive and so real to me it’s insane.
yes YES i just downloaded the ebook so i could go through and highlight everything that made my jaw drop with the intersection of yasnic/god/ruslav. hold on i'm going to get to your other messages now but. yes. religion in ilmar WAIT I HAVE THE LINE
Also if I could run a dnd session that worked like Ilmar I think my life would be complete. The whole book felt like i was watching dominoes fall in slow motion while all the narrators played a fucked up relay race with the narrative and it was just so good
OKAY FACTS i had almost the EXACT same thought and i was especially struck by the reproach?? almost immediately i was like ohhhhh i want to send my players here. but yes. the plotting. the way it starts with one death and just snowballs and you're following that single thread, that one pulse of the butterfly's wing rippling out through this living, breathing city.
Omg sorry I have completely forgotten people’s names but whatshisface and his WIFE. Relationships of all time I gotta say. I was so absolutely delighted with how far the book just leant into the bizarre and the horrible with absolute glee
i quite genuinely horked outloud with that reveal. it was fantastic and so beyond anything i could have predicted, but once revealed, it felt like, of course!! who else would his wife have been!!
god and yasnic + being unable to watch the man who unwillingly and unknowingly devoted himself to their religion die
The reproach was so beautiful. somehow it made so much sense that That city would create it, you know? Like it was so surrounded by madness and so bad at letting people go and there was a rot at it’s core and it was music and dancing and people who knew it was in their brains and couldn’t help themselves. The mosaic city chapters just really made that for me. Sorry for thinking it’s sexy when a city wants to eat you
it IS sexy when the city wants to eat you, you're SO correct. i think it really got me when lemya kept hearing the song even after she'd been pulled out and the way her and shantrov are students who specifically love maric history and poetry and art and then the part of the city that is old and rotten is cursed in that exact same way is the part that the two of them become the standard-bearers of the reproach UGH!!!!!
feeling really normal about city of last chances (2022) by adrian tchaikovsky
i forgot to post this back when i was going insane (as if i'm not still insane). but. but.
i am now reading some of adrian tchaikovsky's scifi and i thought i would probably like it less than city of last chances because i do tend to prefer fantasy, but i'm reading now about unspace in shards of earth and.
