My children.
(Photos are not mine, I just got them off of Google) Okay. These things are NOT bees. All of them are hoverflies. Flies have two wings, bees have four. I keep seeing pictures of hoverflies with people being all like, "Haha, look at this cute bee. She's so great, I think I made a friend today!" Well, guess what? That, "Cute bee" is actually a fly DISGUISED as a bee.
@theuniversalchild You're such a great friend, I'm so glad we got to bird together today. We saw so many cool birds!
@teaformybee my bird friend birding for owls. What a great lady!
There was a group of five armadillos, unfortunately I didn’t get a photo of all of them together.
Black-Throated Blue Warbler - Setophaga caerulescens
Piranga olivacea - Scarlet Tanager
My second Scarlet Tanager, and this time it’s in my own backyard. He was very curious, and didn’t seem to be afraid of me. He’s an incredible bird.
