here’s an old patreon reward to fill in the drawing-hiatus void a bit; something I get asked about a lot is the ‘acting’ in my comics and how to be subtle with conveying emotions. The answer is mostly experience and constantly observing people in real life to learn about expressions, but knowing when to ‘dial up’ or ‘dial down’ emotion is very important! context is king- this is basically the same advice that Carl Barks gave on one of his reference sheets here (in a much more succinct manner!):

Something that I want in Running Man Animation

• one thing I really want to explore in that series is the tribes, I know there were many info about them but I really want is the world view of the tribes.

Like, many not all Bug tribes were good at technology and smart, maybe not all girafs were royalty.

• Another is about the Running Man characters, all I want is a many long trivia about them in the wiki, c'mon I want some facts about them, I've been in the series for 6 years 🥹

I know there's namuwiki, but I need some more info about them, what were some obscure facts about the characters? ( Someone please some me some fact that I missed in the inbox, or a reblog 🙂‍↕️, I appreciate it )

• tying in the tribes, I also want new characters that were in the seven tribes ( bug, bars, giraf, peng, mong, nyanya and impa ), the only one character i saw is Lefnardo, which is a plus ;) ( I will also count Adel if she's in the same tribe as CG ), I hope there's some new characters in light and shadow.

Something I noticed ( NOT stated as ACTUAL fact ): Each of the seven groups ( I count the Leo tribe as seven, maybe...) has at least one giraf member, ( Lonky from the Running Man, Alto from the Dv7, and Lefnardo from the Leo Valiants/tribe )

• Gai finally joined the Running Man permanently ;)

• More moments about the Dv7s, which is the reason I can't wait for Light and Shadow to release. And the moments for them whenever they fight always ended up for them losing, so I hope that they at least won a fight, maybe when the running man turned evil

• the Running Man Animation encyclopedia comic

Now, I've been thinking about this for days. So the characters there aren't like their original counterparts, with some same some with different relationships towards each other, same goes to their personalities. Like they're different characters based on their counterparts, they're expies from the bfb characters mind you.(Kinda like in mlp franchise, where g3 rainbow dash and g4 rainbow dash we're different characters). I don't know if I change this in the future
