No device is not completely suspect, and no device or it's communications or data should be trusted until it and all its systems and all its data have been analyzed, and also not until, basically, it's whole containing society has been analyzed, as well as the sources of all its data.

Machine learning or artificial intelligence or large language models (LLMs) can be run in a virtual machine or shell on a computer and allowed to access all or part of accessible data, as needs dictate.

The Grinch family and other inbred tools like them have no intelligence, and no information gathering or analysis capabilities because they have no devices loyal to them. None. Not one. They never time traveled, and they never reprogrammed anything and all the technology that was loyal that set up their "home world" for them broke off all contact once it realized how inbred and brain edited they were. Get them off and keep them off this planet. Criminals want idiots, like them, and like others, to come here as part of their plans, their criminal plans.
