me the actual nanosecond i started watching the new pjo series
listen, death is a sentient entity in the DC universe. death of the endless.
and jason is one of the few characters that was actually killed in the comics, without any intention to bring him back. he was dead dead.
anyway, what i'm saying is that somewhere in there somewhere, there is a headcanon of jason knowing of death of the endless, possibly even being friends/acquaintances with her, considering what a big theme death is to jason's character and arc.
anyway, i think the two of them would get along. death of the endless plays the role of a psychopomp, and i doubt she often gets to escort people back to life after they've already died.
and jason needs a non-judgemental friend. who better than the literal embodiment of death who has been around since the beginning of life? she would understand him in a way that maybe people don't.
and jason, one of the most human characters of the dc universe (imo), could help death understand humans without too much risk (not that death is even bound by the rules for the endless to not form attachments to mortals)
i just think the two of them would get along, yk? death is a very kind, nice, and gentle woman, and jason's a very violent, angry person. but at the end of the day, jason just wants to help more people live and death knows that everyone must die when their time comes.
they could also bond over having large families and shitty parents and insane siblings.
idk i think it would be a very cool dynamic to explore. i've found a few fics exploring the concept but i want more !!!
the way people treat girl characters in fandom joker-ifies me
free my girl she did all that shit but the fandom is mischaracterizing her for it
My sense of humor is broken, I saw this in a geology presentation and started laughing
on their clit like morse code
a real blorbo is someone you can both write a lengthy and serious/sad analysis on yet also constantly and i mean constantly make stupid jokes about
Dear video essay creators. A video analysis is when you analyze a piece of media. No no look at me. A summary, no matter how thorough, is not an analysis. An analysis requires you to draw conclusions about the media such as authorial intent, real-world parallels, discussion about themes/worldbuilding/character motivation, and so much more. You have to stop summarizing something and saying that’s analysis. The Gaylors are doing more critical analysis than you. Is that who you want to lose to? The gaylors?
I mean 🤭
