It’s been a year since my childhood dog passed and I still cry over her. I’ll be honest it makes me feel worse about the whole thing since I was in quarantine and a family member had to take her to the vet where we later learnt that she had a lung disease of which we had to put her down. She had it since she was young but I feel very bad since I grew distant from her and I wasn’t there for her when she needed me most. So if I had one message to all pet owners it’s to spend as MUCH time with your pet as you can because on that day when they need to go you will regret it for the rest of you life and please PLEASE be there for them. When they go the best thing you can do for them is be there for them, reassure them you love them, they need you more than ever in that situation.
