Powder answered. “You need to separate CT02 and 03. They should never be mixed in their pure forms. Dilution is key to decreasing destabilization. Chem is volatile, but once you break down the compounds to their weakest and spread the power out throughout the machine you use it in, to avoid too much heat build up, you should be fine.”
Powder handed Jayce back the newly edited paper and he read it as if it held the answers to the universe itself. “I need to test this for myself,” he stated. He looked at Vi, with an almost ecstatic excitement. “Vi! Oh, Caitlyn, when did you get here? Doesn’t matter. Vi, I need CT02 and 03. Do you know where to find that in Zaun?”
Vi looked at Powder with a raised eyebrow. Powder smirked. Vi groaned. “Don’t. Don’t say it.”
Powder cackled. “Viktor always has Chemtech compounds on hand, Vi. I’m sure he’d love to see you.”
“Great! Vi, I need you to go to this Viktor and get me CT02 and 03, ten pounds of each compound,” Jayce instructed. “I’ll want plenty to work with and with some left over for back up.”
Vi scoffed. “Ten pounds each? I can’t carry that much weight all the way back with my crutch. Can’t we send a courier?”
Jayce shook his head. “Sorry, Vi, but I can’t let anyone else knowing what I’m doing. Councilor’s orders.”
“I’ll help,” Caitlyn volunteered, her smile far too sweet for Vi’s liking.
Just wanted to say a quick thanks to everyone who has read Heart of Glass, My Mind of Stone, if you've left a comment, kudos, bookmark, or even followed me on here, left an ask, made that amazing fan art!! Thank you so much!
It's been exactly one month since I first posted it, not realizing where the story was going, and it's been an extremely fulfilling creative experience. The fact that it's miles above my most well received story, especially given that I haven't written in years, is the cherry on top.
As a treat, I'll announce here and maybe soon in the notes area of the fic, but Heart Made of Glass is getting a sequel! I already know the general plot and the opening scene.
There's still a good bit left of story for Heart Made of Glass, but we're definitely in the later half of it.
Thank you again. Now to get back to writing the next chapter :D
LOVING the new Tethered fic but I also really need to know what happens next LLTDIM, especially because of what Caitlyn had to do. Need that hurt/comfort like I need oxygen 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
No rush of course! Just wanted to know when to clear my schedule 🙂↕️🙂↕️
Promise I’m not forgetting about Low Lays the Devil in Me. I just feel bad for the people who liked the previous version of Tethered that I abandoned, so I’m trying to make up for it! I’ll get back to our little spy fic soon!
I am feeling things. *screams into a pillow*
Maybe one day I’ll do an AU where Felicia lives and Caitlyn meets her. What a dynamic that would be

I'll do my best to get one more chapter out this weekend, but I really want to make sure I get this next one in particular right. I work weekends and I have an overnight trip planned Sunday-Monday, so there might not be another update until next week. Trust me everyone, it'll be worth it!
I figure posting over 75,000 words in two weeks has earned me a little leeway and good will 😅🤣 maybe I'll post a snippet to keep you guys fed until it's finished, but no promises
When the room was empty, Corina went into a cupboard and took out a bottle of wine with two chalices.
“A toast,” she said, handing a glass to Caitlyn. “To the start of a beautiful partnership.”
Caitlyn gave her a smirk and nodded her head before clinking their glasses together. “To the downfall of Cassandra Kiramman.”
A cold smile curled up Corina’s face and Caitlyn only just barely held back her fingers from twitching towards her weapon.

Caitlyn completes her first mission with the Chembarons and meets with members of the alliance to discuss next steps.
So I've gone through the ideas that were given for a potential one-shot, and, while I still say I don't know yet if I will write one, one of them did catch my eye, but it reminded me of an old AU plot I had for HP back when I liked HP. We'll see. I'm very excited to jump back into Tethered (working on that next chapter starting today), and part of me might be too excited about the Pirate AU to wait 😂
I swear on Janna I'm not abandoning Low Lays the Devil in Me, but I have to write a CaitVi one shot inspired by this. I'm already 3000 words into it and it really only will a one shot. Think of it as like a little balm to the angst in Low Lays the Devil 😂😂
Warning: Read "Heart Made of Glass" before this if you haven't already. These are just some supplemental scenes that some people asked me to write. Note that I most likely won't do any more of these for "Heart Made of Glass." Everything I've wanted to tell in that fic has been told.

If anyone is wondering, a great album to listen to while reading "Low Lays the Devil in Me" is the official soundtrack to "Candela Obscura" by Colm R. McGuinness. It's definitely good for a more seedy underbelly in a steam punk Victorian era setting, which is perfect for this fic's grittier scenes. Plus it's just dope as hell. I've listened to it on repeat when writing Caitlyn working as "Officer Kiramman."
In order to avoid time in Stillwater Prison, Vi must complete community service after getting caught stealing from Jayce Talis, the protégé of the wealthy and intelligent Councilor Cassandra Kiramman. Instead of spending her nights working at The Last Drop and her days looking after her siblings in Zaun, she now has to be the errand girl to one of the most powerful people in Piltover. However, Vi soon realizes that something isn’t right. What secret project is Jayce working on? Why does the councilor keep sending Vi on strange assignments? And why won’t Caitlyn Kiramman leave Vi alone about what life is like in Zaun? Something is festering in the underbelly of both cities and Vi is beginning to suspect that the Kirammans know more than anyone realizes.

A story of what could have happened if Hextech was never invented (with some liberties taken with both LoL and Arcane canon).
So I’ve done a thing and have written almost 30,000 words in three days. I’m addicted to writing this. It won’t be as heavy as the show is, I don’t think, and I already have a chapter by chapter plan for where it’s going.
This is a slow burn with a lot of characters other than Caitlyn and Vi being the focus at times. But don’t worry, they’re still a very prominent feature and the main ship, they just won’t be the only thing being focused on. So there may be whole chapters where they don’t speak or interact.
I made this tumblr to share the story and talk about it outside of the comments section of ao3 if anyone wants it, but I’m honestly not a huge fan of any social media so not sure how active I’ll be on it outside of posting updates and answering people about what I’ve written (without sharing spoilers for upcoming chapters).
Hope I don’t regret it 😅
