Thinking about one of my favourite shots of Jayce, the look he gives to Viktor after stopping him killing himself. With the same words Viktor did years ago. I think that's the thing shifting it from chastising look to sympathetic. You can definitely read the look as "hey, what are you doing?" but I don't think it's looking down on Viktor. It's such a puppy eyes look with multiple interpretations available to it, I love it.

And Viktor, who has been in traumatized sadball and about to kill himself moments before, finally smiles! At the memories Jayce coaxed out, it's so sweet.

deeply funny to me that there was ZERO reason to include silco in the alternate universe except for the fact that they wanted to show that vander and silco are gay, in love, and running a bar together. love wins
