Thinking about one of my favourite shots of Jayce, the look he gives to Viktor after stopping him killing himself. With the same words Viktor did years ago. I think that's the thing shifting it from chastising look to sympathetic. You can definitely read the look as "hey, what are you doing?" but I don't think it's looking down on Viktor. It's such a puppy eyes look with multiple interpretations available to it, I love it.

And Viktor, who has been in traumatized sadball and about to kill himself moments before, finally smiles! At the memories Jayce coaxed out, it's so sweet.
